Guangxi Botanical Garden of Medicinal Plants Guangxi Botanical Garden of Medicinal Plants (branch of IMPLAD) is located at Nanning city and occupying 220 hectares. Its main task is to introduce, collect, conserve, develop and utilize the genuine species of Traditional Chinese Medicine; and to undertake research on the standardization of cultivating technology of the medicinal plants as well as to set up a manufacturing demonstration base. So far, nearly 6000 species of medicinal plants have been introduced and cultivated in Guangxi Botanical Garden of Medicinal Plants, which currently is the largest botanical garden of medicinal plants in the world.
