It combines speed and comfort in hannonious balance and is suitable for both racinq and cruising. It is a national one-design class for wnich there is a separate set of rules. lts excellent cruising characteristics include the splendid directional stability that the long huil ensures. Since the boat draws only 1.5 metres, one can also sail in shallow inshore channels. A sturdy huil, deep, self-draining cockpit and a 1,520 kg lead keel make the boat a safe one in the severest conditions. Broad side decks with foot lists and hand grips on the coachroof make moving about on deck safe at all times. The high 7/8-type rig helps speed to be maintained in such places as archipelagoes or on the leeward side of land masses. It also makes sail trimminq a comfortable task. The H-35 has gained friends in every European country and there are now some 250 boats in the class. This ensures that used H-35s are easily saleable at a good price. The H-35 contains two cabins.
