Das Monitorsystem Fire besteht aus einem Profi-Monitor (24/7) und einem Gehäuse aus nichtbrennbarem Material, welches den Monitor vollständig umschliesst. Im Brandfall wird das Gehäuse das Ausbreiten von Rauch, oder den Übertritt des Feuers verhindern. In Hotels, Museen, öffentlichen Gebäuden, Universitäten, Hochschulen, Bahnhöfen und Flughäfen, sowie in Veranstaltungsgebäuden oder den Foyers von Bürogebäuden sind Monitore zur Normalität geworden. Sie informieren Passanten und Besucher. Viele Orte, an denen Monitore hängen, sind Flucht- und Rettungswege und für die gelten spezielle Anforderungen beim Brandschutz. Hintergrund: Monitore sind elektrische Bauteile, die in Flucht- und Rettungswegen ein hohes Gefahrenpotential darstellen. Bei Defekten kann es schnell zu einer Verrauchung des Rettungswegs kommen. Nach dem deutschen Baurecht ist das unzulässig. Die Musterbauordnung 14 (Brandschutz) und 40 (Leitungsanlagen) gibt vor, dass der Ausbreitung von Feuer und Rauch vorzubeugen ist und Leitungsanlagen in Rettungswegen nur zulässig sind, wenn im Brandfall deren Nutzung ausreichend lang sichergestellt ist.
Bei unserer Lösung Fire handelt es sich um ein Gehäuse, das Monitore vollständig umhaust. Prüfzeugnisse belegen die Eignung des Brandschutzgehäuses. Ein Sicherheitsglas sorgt für die kontrastreiche Bildwiedergabe aus jedem Betrachtungswinkel und schützt die Monitore vor Staub, Schmutz und Vandalismus. Das bedeutet Sicherheit beim Brandschutz für den Einsatz von Monitoren im öffentlichen Raum und hier speziell in Flucht- und Rettungswegen. Fire wird komplett geliefert mit Monitoren bis zu einer Größe von 55. (Standgrößen für Monitore 32, 40, 46 und 55 ).
