The objective of the SEEDTRANS project is to develop comprehensive training materials (to be used via an elearning platform) that will support European Seed Fund Managers both in public/private institutions, with the objective of developing/creating their own early stage funding management procedures and the competences necessary to apply them to their own organizations. The project results are mainly directed to seed fund managers and organizations aiming to become early stage financers. The partnership provides a combination of the resources, knowledge and experience required to bring the present project to term. It includes experienced members in the field of seedfunding, financial institutions, which normally handle support of such type, training centres, as well as potential users and beneficiaries. We believe that this combination will be of extreme importance when developing the training materials required as well as for the dissemination, exploitation and pilot activities.
