8 Products - Functionality SIDOOR is characterized by the fact that the open and closed position of the door always results in two defined states. The door is always controlled between these positions in accordance with the guidelines of the respective application. Via "Single-button operation" during a defined learn run, the door system detects the values for the door width autonomously. The optimal running characteristics of the door are automatically calculated and continuously maintained. SIDOOR is flexible and modularly expandable with further communication interfaces. Seite 8

23 Classified by TÜV as non-safety-related Overview of product data SIDOOR ATD400T Basics Certification for the software is based on DIN EN 50128:2001, and for the hardware on DIN EN 50129:2003. Assessment The assessment established the following risks for automatically closing interior doors: Closing doors hitting passengers Passengers pinched (e.g. fingers) by opening door Passengers pinched by closing doors Blockage of escape routes (for example, if the door cannot be opened in the event of fire or smoke) In the case of the first three risks listed, there is only a slight danger of injury to passengers; Software Safety Requirements Level (SSAS) 0 derives from this. In the case of the latter risk, it must be ensured that the door can be opened manually without significant force. Result Confirmation by TÜV Nord that the firmware of the ATD400T door controller can be classified in accordance with EN 50128:2001, Chap as non-safety-related under Software Safety Requirement Level (SSAS) 0.
