On the one hand it offers active and passive security installations that are reassuring, on the other hand exemplary comfort that enlivens the senses. At the same time the 26 also achieves good sailing performance on all points of the wind. THE GENEROUS SOLUTION: Comfortable sailing means, halyards leading into the cockpit, a bathing platform with folding bathing ladder, a tiller holder, self tailing genoa winches and numerous other extras which are standard on this yacht. The gel coat is applied by hand and deck and hull are manufactured from 100% hand laid laminate. A double hull construction prevents the formation of condensation. The hull and deck are manufactured using ISO/NPG (Isophtalic polyester resins) and finished with an etch primer and antifouling coating. This gives perfect protection from osmosis and guarantees fresh colours for decades. THE NEW SUNBEAM 26S is offered parallel to the concept of the existing "Cruising Line". Additional Description THE IDEAL QUALITIES: The unbelievable standing headroom of 1.80m, shows a generosity that represents a real revolution for a 26 foot yacht. Berths 2.10m long and 10cm thick upholstery are further indications of first-class comfort. A comfortable living area with noble Sapelli-Mahogany gives a cosy feeling below decks. Variable cabin arrangements allow the inside to be suited to your requirements. The renowned " Sch?chl-Quality " makes every yacht, a source of pride and enjoyment: Don't dream it. Sail it. THE NEW SUNBEAM 26S: The saloon, otherwise equipped with a U-sofa and a galley, is in the SUNBEAM 26S fitted with two fore and aft berths each 2 meters long. These consequently form the central element of the saloon. The saloon table can also be utilised in the cockpit on specially provided mountings. A cool-box with a 12v refrigeration unit, is mounted under the companionway stairs. This box is transportable and can be used in the car while travelling to the yacht. Midships on the port side is a cupboard and on the starboard side a toilet compartment, which is equipped with a pull-out wash basin. The forward cabin is equipped with a bed with sitting headroom above it, providing comfortable sleeping place for two people. An opening deck hatch provides ample ventilation. The interior lighting with reading lamps underlines this comfort. Basically, the SUNBEAM 26S can be equipped with a sliding pantry and can naturally be offered with an inboard-motor, or with a well for an outboard or electromotor. Variations STANDARD: Double berth in foreship, galley, longitudinal sofa and U sofa in saloon, clothes cupboard, toilet/wash room. CRUISING: Galley with increased storage space, large pull-out storage, double burner alcohol stove.
