92 APPENDIX LIGHT COLOUR Farbwiedergabeindex Der Farbwiedergabeindex, auch CRI (Colour Rendering Index) genannt, ist eine theoretische Größe, die Aufschluss über die Farbwiedergabequalität eines Weißlichtes gibt. Der Wert 100 stellt im Messverfahren das Maximum und damit Licht mit perfekter Farbwiedergabe dar. Farbtemperatur in Kelvin Zur Festlegung von genormten Werten wird in der Physik ein theoretischer schwarzer Metallkörper benutzt, der durch Erwärmung seine Farbe von rotglühend über weiß bis blauglühend verändert. Daraus wird eine Skala abgeleitet, die als Maßeinheit Kelvin (K) bezeichnet wird. Das glühende Metall gibt eine bildhafte Vorstellung für die Farbtemperatur. Mit niedrigerer Temperatur ist es rotgelblich glühend, bei höherer Temperatur grellweiß bis leicht bläulich. Colour rendering index The colour rendering index, also called CRI (Colour Rendering Index), is a theoretical value that provides information about the colour rendering quality of white light. 93 APPENDIX LUMINOUS INTENSITY Gesamtes Licht in Lumen Der gesamte Lichtstrom bzw. die gesamte abgegebene Lichtmenge einer Lichtquelle wird in Lumen angegeben. Damit ist diese Größe die einzige Vergleichsmessgröße für bessere oder schlechtere Lichtquellen. Wenn man nach der Energieeffizienz fragt, dann ist das Verhältnis von Lumen pro Watt wichtig. Achten Sie auf die angegebenen Daten des LED Moduls, nicht nur auf die Angabe der verwendeten LED. Denn durch Linsen, Reflektoren oder etwa ineffiziente LED Treiber können die Lichteffizienz eines LED Moduls stark gemindert werden. Axiale Lichtstärke in Candela Der Candela-Wert ist nur dann wichtig, wenn es auf Helligkeit im Zentrum des abgegebenen Lichtkegels ankommt und nicht gleichsam auf eine effiziente Beleuchtung des Raumes. Ein Beispiel dafür ist ein punktuelles Hervorheben von Ware in einem grundbeleuchteten Kaufhaus. Total light-output in lumen The total luminous flux or the entire light-output is showed in lumen. 94 APPENDIX THERMO MANAGEMENT Sowohl Lichtausbeute als auch die Lebensdauer eines LED-Moduls hängen entscheidend vom Thermomanagement ab. Um die gewünschten Eigenschaften der LED-Module in Bezug auf Lebensdauer und Leuchtniveau zu erreichen ist es daher besonders wichtig einerseits die Fläche der Leiterplatte als auch die geringe Aufbauhöhe optimal für das Wärmemanagement zu nutzen. Die Leiterplatten unserer flexiblen LED Module zeichnen sich insbesondere durch den Einsatz einer doppelten Schutzlackisolierung aus. Mit der Erfindung der ersten LED Ampel folgten weitere zukunftsweisende Produktreihen und Patente sowohl im Straßen- als auch im Schienen- und Flugverkehr. Schon damals war es unabdingbar die speziellen Anforderungen und Normvorgaben in der Lichttechnik zu erfüllen, insbesondere da zur damaligen Zeit das Thema LED noch in den Kinderschuhen steckte. Nach 15 Jahren Erfolgsgeschichte wurde die Firma Garufo GmbH an den Großkonzern Dialight verkauft. Experience Gabriel Garufo, a pioneer in the LED sector, first began producing optoelectronic display systems for road traffic operations back in The invention of the first LED traffic light paved the way for further innovative product ranges and patents for road, rail and air traffic applications. Even back in the early days, it was essential to fulfill the specific requirements and standards associated with lighting technology, particularly at a time when the development of LEDs was still in its infancy. In 2002, after 15 years of success, Garufo GmbH was sold to what is now the Dialight Group.
