4 PROFILGLASROHR Vom runden Standardrohr zum Präzisionsprofil Da Glasrohr standardmäßig nur als rundes Rohr zur Verfügung steht, veranlasste dies uns eine Verfahren zu entwickeln, mit dem wir fast jede geometrische Form von Glasrohrprofilen herstellen können. Dabei spielt es keine Rolle aus welcher Glasart das Basisrohr besteht. Wandstärken, Radien und Kantenlängen können wir nach Kundenwunsch flexibel gestalten und haben so für fast jede Applikation eine Lösung bereit. Durch im Vergleich zu anderen Herstellungsverfahren niedrige Form- und Einrichtungskosten können auch Kleinserien und Muster zu überschaubaren Preisen hergestellt werden. Eine Weiterverarbeitung der Standardlängen ist nach Ihren Wünschen möglich. Dieses Glas wird nach speziellen Verkleinerungsverfahren in exakt definierte Korngrößen aufbereitet. Durch ein besonderes Hochtemperatur-Sinterverfahren wird erreicht, daß die Oberflächen der einzelnen Glaskörner an ihren Berühungspunkten verschmelzen. Hervorragende Eigenschaften Durch die Thermobehandlung (Sinterverfahren) entsteht ein poröses Filterprodukt mit gleichmäßigem Erscheinungsbild und großer innerer Oberfläche. Trotz der offenporigen Struktur besitzt dieses Filterprodukt sehr gute mechanische Eigenschaften und eine hohe thermische Belastbarkeit. Auch ist die Resistenz des Werkstoffes gegen die meisten Chemikalien ausgezeichnet. Ausgezeichnete Reinheit Alle Glasfilter werden ausnahmslos aus reinem und hochwertigem Borosilicatglas 3.3 ohne Zusatz von Bindemitteln hergestellt und können mit allen bekannten Laborgläsern dieser Qualität direkt verschmolzen werden. 65 Filtrationsgeräte / Filtration Equipment 6 GEBRAUCHSHINWEISE FÜR GLASFILTER UND GLASFILTERGERÄTE Vor dem ersten Einsatz sollten Glasfiltergeräte von Staub und Schmutzpartikeln gereinigt werden. Hierzu wird heiße Salzsäure und anschließend in mehreren Schritten destilliertes Wasser durch die Filterplatte gesaugt. Erste Reinigung Glasfiltergeräte sollten möglichst sofort nach ihrem Einsatz gereinigt werden, da dies ihre Lebesdauer erhöht. Sind die Pore der Filterplatten nicht verschmutzt, genügt es meistens, die Oberfläche mit Wasser abzuspritzen und mit einem Pinsel oder Gummispatel zu reinigen. Bei verunreinigten Poren ist eine Reinigung mit Wasser oder Spüllösung in umgekehrter Filtrationsrichtung nötig. Dabei darf ein Wert von bar nicht überschritten werden. Anschließendes umgekehrtes Durchblasen von reiner Luft trocknet und reinigt zusätzlich. Mechanische Reinigung Sind nach der mechanischen Reinigung noch Poren verschlossen oder sollen eventuelle Rückstände vorheriger Filtrationsmedien völlig entfernt werden, ist eine sorgfältige chemische Reinigung angebracht. Je nach Verunreinigung sind unterschiedliche Lösungsmittel anzuwenden. Anschließend ist gründlich mit Wasser nachzuspülen. Chemische Reinigung Temperaturschocks sind zu vermeiden, da hierdurch Spannungen zwischen Filter und Gefäß entstehen, die zum Bruch des Filtergerätes führen können. Die Erwärmung und Abkühlung von Glasfiltergeräten sollte daher langsam und gleichmäßig erfolgen. Trocknung und Sterilisation Bei Filtration von heißer, konzentrierter Phosphorsäure, Flußsäure und heißen Laugen ist eine Porenvergrößerung unvermeidbar. Diese Mittel greifen die Glasoberfläche an und sind daher als Reinigungsmittel ungeeignet. Auch verkürzen sie die Lebensdauer von Glasfiltergeräten erheblich. Besonderer Hinweis CLEANING AND CARE OF GLASS FILTERS AND GLASS FILTER APPARATUS Before glass filter apparatus are used for the first time, they should be cleaned from dust and dust particles. Excessive differences in temperature cause stresses between filter and the vessel, and may break the filter apparatus. Thus, heating and cooling of glass filter apparatus should be carried out slowly and evently. Drying and Sterilizing When filtrating hot, concentrated phosphoric acid, hydrofluoric acid or hot alkaline solutions, an increase in pore size is unavoidable.
