2 Pietra di Liegi La pietra arenarica di Liegi, così denominata in onore della località che più seppe utilizzarla e valorizzarla, si presenta in natura con un corpo piuttosto sobrio e compatto,con colori tendenti al grigio cemento fino ad arrivare all antracite bluastro. Proprio questa moderna sobrietà cromatica è stata catturata da Ergon come ispirazione. The Liege sandstone, named so in honour of the place where it was best used and highly valued, is found in nature with a compact and rather plain appearance with colours ranging from cement grey to a bluish coal shade. Precisely this "modern" sobriety in colouring has been captured by Ergon for its inspiration. The aesthetic result of this line adapts itself perfectly to modern architecture, featuring the use of metallic elements and natural materials with neutral colours, giving an air of elegant "purity" to the places where it is used. La pierre de type arénifère de Liège, appelée ainsi en l honneur de la ville qui a su l utiliser et la valoriser d avantage, se présente dans la nature avec un corps assez sobre et compact, dans des couleurs allant du gris ciment à l anthracite bleuâtre. C est cette sobriété chromatique «contemporaine» qui a été capturée par Ergon. Il prodotto deve essere realizzato per pressatura con la tecnologia del caricamento di materie prime premiscelate durante la fase di preparazione. Il retro del materiale deve evidenziare il naturale taglio a sega circolare, i bordi e gli spigoli sono dritti. Il materiale deve essere assolutamente inerte. Il processo produttivo deve impiegare materie prime non nocive, non radioattive, non contenenti metalli pesanti (cadmio, piombo), permettendo di ottenere un prodotto in accordo con le tecniche della bioarchitettura. La varietà cromatica deve riprodurre nella superficie e nella massa l aspetto della pietra di Liegi, con venature non ripetitive nel corpo del prodotto e garanzia di resistenza all usura nel tempo.
