7 ES Seguridad En este capítulo obtendrá indicaciones de seguridad importantes para manejar el aparato. En cambio el uso inadecuado puede causar daños personales y materiales. Peligro por corriente eléctrica PELIGRO Tenga en cuenta las indicaciones de seguridad siguientes para evitar los peligros debido a la corriente eléctrica: No utilice el aparato si la fuente de alimentación de bloque, el cable de conexión o la clavija de conexión presentan daños. En ningún caso deberá abrir la fuente de alimentación de bloque. Si se tocan conexiones sometidas a tensión y se modifi ca la estructura eléctrica y mecánica, existe riesgo de electrocución. Tratamiento del paquete de baterías ADVERTENCIA Existe riesgo de explosión y de derrame! Para manejar con seguridad el paquete de baterías, debe tener en cuenta las indicaciones de seguridad siguientes: No tire nunca el paquete de baterías al fuego. No cortocircuite el paquete de baterías Compruebe periódicamente el paquete de baterías. El ácido de las baterías puede causar daños permanentes en el aparato. Debe tenerse precaución especial en el manejo de baterías dañadas o reventadas. Peligro de abrasión! Usar guantes protectores. Guardar el paquete de baterías fuera del alcance de los niños. Extraiga el paquete de baterías de la plantilla térmica cuando no vaya a usarla durante un periodo prolongado. El paquete de baterías se ha de evacuar correctamente por separado de las plantillas térmicas. 4 EB 1400 A1

8 Advertencias de seguridad básicas Para manejar con seguridad el aparato deben tenerse en cuenta las indicaciones de seguridad siguientes: Antes de usar, controle las plantillas térmicas, el paquete de baterías y la fuente de alimentación de bloque por si presentan daños. No ponga en servicio un aparato dañado o que haya caído. Si se daña el cable o las conexiones, haga que los cambie personal especializado o el servicio al cliente con el fi n de evitar riesgos. Controle periódicamente sus pies por si presentan enrojecimientos de la piel. Una potencia térmica excesiva durante un tiempo prolongado podría ocasionar quemaduras. Por ello los niños deberán usar el artículo sólo bajo vigilancia de un adulto. No permita utilizar el aparato a personas (incluidos los niños) cuyas facultades físicas, sensoriales o mentales, así como su falta de conocimientos o de experiencia, les impida hacer un uso seguro del mismo si no están bajo vigilancia o han sido instruidos correctamente acerca del uso del aparato. Vigile a los niños para asegurarse de que no juegan con el aparato. Las personas que tengan problemas sensoriales de calor o frío, tales como p. ej. los que sufren diabetes, personas minusválidas, etc. consulte previamente a un médico antes de usar las plantillas térmicas. No utilice las plantillas térmicas sin vigilancia. Proteja las plantillas térmicas y el paquete de baterías contra la lluvia y la nieve. Si se han mojado las plantillas térmicas y el paquete de baterías, déjelas secar exclusivamente al aire. No seque las plantillas térmicas y el paquete de baterías sobre una calefacción, un secador de mano o demás fuentes térmicas. Proteja el paquete de baterías de la humedad y contra la entrada de líquidos. Si ha fi jado el paquete de baterías a sus zapatos, deberán conectarse cuando este al aire libre (incluso sin puesta en funcionamiento) a las plantillas térmicas. De este modo evitará que pueda penetrar humedad o bien suciedad en las hembrillas o conectores de conexión. Utilice las plantillas sólo con el paquete de baterías suministrado. Utilice para la carga del paquete de baterías sólo la fuente de alimentación de bloque suministrada. La fuente de alimentación de bloque ha sido diseñada para espacios interiores y no deberá exponerse a ningún tipo de humedad. En caso de anomalías o tormenta, extraiga el bloque de alimentación de clavija de la base de enchufe. ES EB 1400 A1 5

9 ES Puesta en funcionamiento Volumen de suministro e inspección de transporte El aparato se suministra de serie con los componentes siguientes: 2 x plantillas térmicas con elemento calefactor integrado y cable de conexión 2 x paquete de baterías Ni-MH Adaptador de corriente Estas instrucciones de servicio NOTA Compruebe la integridad de suministro y si hay daños visibles. Si el suministro es incompleto o hay daños debido a un embalaje defi ciente o al transporte, póngase en contacto con la línea directa de asistencia (véase el apartado Asistencia técnica). Evacuación del embalaje El embalaje protege el aparato durante el transporte. El material de embalaje se ha seleccionado teniendo en cuenta criterios ecológicos y de técnica de eliminación y por ello es reciclable. La reintroducción del embalaje en el ciclo de materiales ahorra materias primas y reduce el volumen de residuos. Evacue los materiales de embalaje que no sean necesarios según las normativas locales aplicables. Antes del primer uso Retire todo el material de embalaje y protecciones de transporte del producto. NOTA Cuando lo utilice por primera vez puede producirse una pequeña formación de humo. Esto es normal y totalmente inofensivo. 6 EB 1400 A1

En ningún caso deberá recortar dentro de los símbolos de advertencia, de lo contrario podría dañar el elemento calefactor. Seleccione primero los zapatos donde desea llevar puestas las plantillas. Tenga en cuenta que las plantillas térmicas suplementan unos 4 mm aprox., es decir cuanto mejor este el zapato aislado contra el frío, mayor tiempo podrá calentar con una carga de batería. Las marcas de corte para los diferentes tamaños de calzado vienen impresas en el reverso de las plantillas y sirven como punto de guía para el recorte. Recorte las plantillas primero a un tamaño ligeramente superior. Determine el tamaño realmente necesario usando otra plantilla existente Corte a lo largo de la marca de corte y adapte la plantilla al talón y a los lados individualmente a su tamaño. NOTA La plantilla deberá abarcar dentro de lo posible la completa huella del pie y que no se pueda desplazar dentro del calzado. EB 1400 A1 7

11 ES Carga del paquete de baterías El paquete de baterías se carga mediante la fuente de alimentación de bloque suministrado. Para un funcionamiento seguro y libre de fallos del aparato tenga en cuenta en la conexión eléctrica las indicaciones siguientes: ATENCIÓN Compare antes de conectar los datos de conexión (tensión y frecuencia) de la placa de características con la de su red eléctrica. Estos datos han de concordar con el fi n de que no se produzcan daños en el aparato. Cerciórese que el cable de conexión no estén dañados y que no se tiendan sobre superfi cies calientes y / o cantos agudos. Preste atención que el cable de conexión no este muy tenso o doblado. No deje colgar el cable de conexión por las esquinas (riesgo donde tropezar). Enchufe la fuente de alimentación de clavija en una base de enchufe. Cerciórese que el paquete de baterías este desconectado (la indicación de funcionamiento no se ilumina). Conecte la clavija de conexión de la fuente de alimentación de clavija con las hembrillas de conexión del paquete de baterías. Las indicaciones de funcionamiento se iluminan en rojo y el paquete de baterías se encuentra cargando. La duración de carga óptima mínima es de 6,5 horas y la máxima de 8 horas. NOTA Una frecuente sobrecarga del paquete de baterías (superior a 8 horas) produce una reducción del rendimiento y la vida útil. En caso de un almacenamiento prolongado (p. ej. durante el verano) debería descargar el paquete de baterías cada 2 meses y a continuación volverlos a cargar. 8 EB 1400 A1

12 Manejo y funcionamiento En este capítulo se proporcionan indicaciones importantes para el funcionamiento del aparato. Encender / apagar las plantillas / seleccionar el nivel de calentamiento Inserte las plantillas recortadas con el lado impreso hacia abajo en el calzado y guíe el cable a lo largo del talón hacia arriba. Sujete el paquete de baterías con la ayuda del estribo a sus zapatos y conecte el conector de conexión de las plantillas con las hembrillas de conexión del paquete de batería (véase Fig. 1). ES Fig. 1 ATENCIÓN Cuando se utilicen botines, puede guardar el cable excedente en los calcetines. El cable no debe rozar el suelo a caminar! Accione el interruptor de función, para encender el paquete de baterías. El paquete de baterías se enciende con el nivel de calefacción I uno y la indicación de función se ilumina verde. Pulsando de nuevo el interruptor de función, puede conectar el nivel de calefacción II. La indicación de función se ilumina en rojo. Para desconectar el paquete de batería, pulse de nuevo el interruptor de función. La indicación de función se apaga. NOTA Para un calentamiento rápido se recomienda usar el nivel de calefacción II. Posteriormente puede reducir si lo desea al nivel de calefacción mas bajo. Si se encuentra el paquete de batería descargado, se apaga la indicación de función y la plantilla ya no calienta. 13 ES Limpieza ATENCIÓN Proteja las plantillas y el paquete de baterías de la humedad y contra la entrada de líquidos. En ningún caso deberá utilizar productos de limpieza agresiva o soluciones químicas ya que de lo contrario podría dañar las superfi cies. Limpie el paquete de baterías pelusas. con un paño seco libre de Las plantillas deberán extraerse de vez en cuando de los zapatos para que se ventilen. Almacenamiento Extraiga el paquete de baterías de las plantillas térmicas cuando no vaya a usarlas durante un periodo prolongado. Guarde las plantillas térmicas y el paquete de baterías en un entorno seco sin radiación solar directa. Evacuación Evacuación del aparato No tire el aparato en la basura doméstica normal. Este producto está sujeto a la directiva europea 2002/96/EC WEEE (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment). Elimine el aparato en un centro de evacuación autorizado a través de las instalaciones de evacuación comunitarias. Tenga en cuenta las normativas actuales en vigor. En caso de dudas póngase en contacto con su centro de evacuación. El paquete de baterías se ha de evacuar correctamente por separado de las plantillas térmicas. Eliminación de las pilas / baterías Las pilas / baterías no pueden ser desechadas con la basura doméstica. Cada consumidor está obligado legalmente a entregar las pilas / baterías en un punto de recogida de residuos de su municipio / barrio o en un establecimiento. Con esta obligación se consigue que las pilas / baterías se desechen de forma respetuosa con el medio ambiente. Devuelva las pilas / acumuladores vacías. 10 EB 1400 A1

Éste es el único modo de garantizar un envío gratuito. NOTA La garantía cubre los defectos de fabricación o del material, pero no los daños de transporte, las piezas sujetas a desgaste y los daños sufridos por las piezas frágiles (p. ej. el interruptor o las pilas). Este producto ha sido diseñado exclusivamente para el uso particular y no para el uso industrial. 19 GB Safety In this chapter you will receive important safety information regarding the handling of the appliance. Incorrect usage can lead to injuries and property damage. Risks from electrical current DANGER Observe the following safety instructions to avoid risks from electrical current: Do not use the appliance if the power adapter, the connection cable or the connector plug is damaged. Under no circumstances should you open the power adapter. There is a risk of receiving an electric shock if voltage carrying connections are touched or the electrical and / or mechanical construction is changed. Interaction with the battery pack WARNING The risk of explosions and leakages exists! For safe handling of battery pack observe the following safety instructions: Do not throw the battery pack into a fi re. Do not short circuit the battery pack. Check the battery pack regularly. Leaking battery acid can cause permanent damage to the device. Special care should be taken when handling a damaged or leaking battery. Danger from acid burns! Wear protective gloves. Store the battery pack away from children. Disconnect the battery pack from the insole if you do not intend to use it for longer periods. The battery packs must be properly disposed of separately from the insoles. 16 EB 1400 A1

20 Basic Safety Instructions For safe handling of the appliance observe the following safety information: Before use, check the insoles, the battery pack and the power adapter for any externally visible damage. Do not take into operation an appliance that is damaged or has been dropped. To avoid possible risks, arrange for damaged cables or connectors to be exchanged by an authorised specialist or the Customer Service Department. Check your feet regularly for any redness of the skin. Too much heat for a long time can cause burns. Children should therefore use the product only under adult supervision. This appliance is not intended for use by individuals (including children) with restricted physical, physiological or intellectual abilities or defi ciences in experience and / or knowledge unless they are supervised by a person responsible for their safety or receive from this person instruction on how the appliance is to be used. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance. People who can not correctly perceive heat or cold, such as diabetics and people with disabilities etc, should consult their doctor before using the insoles. Do not operate the insoles unattended. Protect the insoles and the battery packs against rain and snow. Should the insoles and the battery pack becomes wet, allow them to air dry only. Do not dry the insoles and the battery pack on the heating, with other sources of heat or with a hair dryer. Protect the battery packs against moisture and the penetration of liquids. After attaching the battery packs to your shoes, they must always be connected (even when not switched on) to the insoles when outdoors. Thereby, the penetration of moisture and soiling in the connector sockets or plugs will be avoided. Operate the insoles only with the supplied battery packs. Use only the supplied power adapter to charge the battery packs. The power adapter is designed for indoor use and may not be exposed to moisture. In the event of malfunctions or thunderstorms, remove the plug from the mains power socket. GB EB 1400 A1 17

21 Initial use GB Items supplied and transport inspection The device is delivered with the following components as standard: 2 x heatable insoles with integrated heating elements and connection cables 2 x Ni-MH battery packs Power adapter This operating manual NOTE Check the contents to make sure everything is there and for visible damage. If the delivery is not complete, or is damaged due to defective packaging or through transportation, contact the Service Hotline (see chapter Service). Disposal of the packaging The packaging protects the device from transport damage. The packaging materials are selected from the point of view of their environmental friendliness and disposal technology and are therefore recyclable. The recirculation of packaging into the material circuit saves on raw material and reduces the amount of waste generated. Dispose of packaging material that is no longer needed as per the regionally established regulations. Before initial use Remove all packaging materials and all transport securing devices from the appliance. NOTE With initial use and for a brief period, a light odour accumulation can occur. This is normal and completely harmless. 18 EB 1400 A1

Under no circumstances should you cut within the warning symbol,as this may damage the heating element. First, select the shoes in which you wish to wear the insoles. Bear in mind that the insoles are ca. 4 mm thick and that the better the shoe is insulated against cold, the longer you can heat with a single battery charge. The trim marks for diff erent shoe sizes are printed on the bottom of the insoles and serve only as a guide for trimming. Initially, trim the insoles slightly larger than needed. Determine the required actual size by using an existing insole. Cut along the trim marks and adjust the insole at the heel and sides to your individual size. NOTE In the fi nal state the insole should fi ll the entire foot bed and it not be possible for it to move in the shoe. EB 1400 A1 19

23 GB Charging the battery pack The battery packs are charged via the supplied power adapter. For safe and faultless operation of the appliance with the electrical connection, observe the following instructions: IMPORTANT Before connecting the appliance, compare the connection data (voltage and frequency) on the rating plate with that of your mains power supply. This data must be compatible to avoid possible damage to the device. Ensure that the mains power cable is not damaged and that it has not been laid over hot surfaces and / or sharp edges. Ensure that the mains power cable is not overtaut or kinked. Do not let the power cable hang over edges (trip wire eff ect). NOTE Frequent overcharging of the battery packs (over 8 hours) results in a reduction of both effi ciency and service lifetime. 24 Handling and operation In this section you receive important information for the handling and operation of the appliance. Switching the insoles on / off / selecting the heat setting Place the trimmed insoles in your shoes with the printed side down and run the cable upward along the heel. Attach the battery packs using the straps to your shoes and connect the connector plug of the insoles with the connection sockets of the battery pack (see Figure 1). GB Fig. 1 IMPORTANT When wearing low shoes, tuck the excess cable into your socks. The cable must not drag on the ground while walking! Press the function switch to switch the battery pack on. The battery pack switches itself on with the heat level I and the function indicator glows green. By pressing the function switch once again, the heat level II can be switched on. The function indicator glows red. To switch the battery pack off, press the function switch once more. The function indicator goes out. NOTE For quick warming, it is recommended to initially select the the heat level II. It can later, if necessary, be turned down to the lower heating level. When the battery pack is discharged, the function indicator switches off and the insole is no longer heated. EB 1400 A1 21

25 Cleaning GB IMPORTANT Protect the insoles and the battery packs against moisture and the ingress of liquids. Do NOT use aggressive cleaning agents or chemical solvents, otherwise the surfaces may be damaged. Clean the battery packs The insoles and aired. Storage with a dry lint-free cloth. should be taken out of the shoes occasionally Disconnect the battery packs from the insoles if you do not intend to use them for longer periods. Store the insoles and the battery packs in a dry place away from direct sunlight. Disposal Disposal of the appliance Do not dispose of this appliance in your normal domestic waste. DE AT CH Gefahr durch elektrischen Strom GEFAHR Beachten Sie die folgenden Sicherheitshinweise, um eine Gefährdung durch elektrischen Strom zu vermeiden: Benutzen Sie das Gerät nicht, wenn das Steckernetzteil, die Anschlusskabel oder die Anschlussstecker beschädigt sind. Öff nen Sie auf keinen Fall das Steckernetzteil. Werden spannungsführende Anschlüsse berührt und der elektrische und mechanische Aufbau verändert, besteht Stromschlaggefahr. Umgang mit dem Akkupack WARNUNG Es besteht Explosions- und Auslaufgefahr! Für den sicheren Umgang mit dem Akkupack beachten Sie folgende Sicherheitshinweise: Werfen Sie das Akkupack nicht ins Feuer. Schließen Sie das Akkupack nicht kurz. Überprüfen Sie regelmäßig das Akkupack. Ausgetretene Batteriesäure kann dauerhafte Schäden am Gerät verursachen. Im Umgang mit beschädigten oder ausgelaufenen Batterien besondere Vorsicht walten lassen. Verätzungsgefahr! Schutzhandschuhe tragen. Das Akkupack für Kinder unzugänglich aufbewahren. Trennen Sie das Akkupack von der Einlegesohle, wenn Sie es längere Zeit nicht benutzen. Die Akkupacks müssen getrennt von den Einlegesohlen sachgerecht entsorgt werden. Grundlegende Sicherheitshinweise Beachten Sie für einen sicheren Umgang mit dem Gerät die folgenden Sicherheitshinweise: Kontrollieren Sie die Einlegesohlen, die Akkupacks und das Steckernetzteil vor der Verwendung auf äußere sichtbare Schäden. 32 Bei Beschädigung der Kabel oder Anschlüsse lassen Sie diese von autorisiertem Fachpersonal oder dem Kundenservice austauschen, um Gefährdungen zu vermeiden. Kontrollieren Sie Ihre Füße regelmäßig auf Rötungen der Haut. Zu hohe Heizleistung über längere Zeit können Verbrennungen verursachen. Kinder sollten den Artikel daher nur unter Aufsicht von Erwachsenen verwenden. Dieses Gerät ist nicht dafür bestimmt, durch Personen (einschließlich Kinder) mit eingeschränkten physischen, sensorischen oder geistigen Fähigkeiten oder mangels Erfahrung und / oder mangels Wissen benutzt zu werden, es sei denn, sie werden durch eine für ihre Sicherheit zuständige Person beaufsichtigt oder erhielten von ihr Anweisungen, wie das Gerät zu benutzen ist. Schützen Sie die Einlegesohlen und die Akkupacks vor Regen und Schnee. Sollten die Einlegesohlen und die Akkupacks nass geworden sein, lassen Sie sie ausschließlich an der Luft trocknen. Trocknen Sie die Einlegesohlen und die Akkupacks nicht auf der Heizung, sonstigen Wärmequellen oder mit einem Fön. Schützen Sie das Akkupack vor Feuchtigkeit und dem Eindringen von Flüssigkeiten. Wenn Sie die Akkupacks an Ihren Schuhen befestigt haben, müssen diese im Freien stets (auch wenn nicht eingeschaltet) an die Einlegesohlen angeschlossen werden. Dadurch wird ein Eindringen von Feuchtigkeit bzw. Schmutz in den Anschlussbuchsen oder Stecker vermieden. Betreiben Sie die Einlegesohlen nur mit den mitgelieferten Akkupacks. Verwenden Sie zum Aufl aden der Akkupacks nur das mitgelieferte Steckernetzteil. Das Steckernetzteil ist für Innenräume konzipiert und darf keiner Feuchtigkeit ausgesetzt werden. Ziehen Sie bei auftretenden Störungen und bei Gewitter das Steckernetzteil aus der Steckdose. DE AT CH EB 1400 A1 29

33 Inbetriebnahme DE AT CH Lieferumfang und Transportinspektion Das Gerät wird standardmäßig mit folgenden Komponenten geliefert: 2 x beheizbare Einlegesohle mit integriertem Heizelement und Anschlusskabel 2 x Ni-MH Akkupack Steckernetzteil Diese Bedienungsanleitung HINWEIS Prüfen Sie die Lieferung auf Vollständigkeit und auf sichtbare Schäden. Bei einer unvollständigen Lieferung oder Schäden infolge mangelhafter Verpackung oder durch Transport wenden Sie sich an die Service-Hotline (siehe Kapitel Service). Entsorgung der Verpackung Die Verpackung schützt das Gerät vor Transportschäden. Die Verpackungsmaterialien sind nach umweltverträglichen und entsorgungstechnischen Gesichtspunkten ausgewählt und deshalb recyclebar. Die Rückführung der Verpackung in den Materialkreislauf spart Rohstoff e und verringert das Abfallaufkommen. Entsorgen Sie nicht mehr benötigte Verpackungsmaterialien gemäß den örtlich geltenden Vorschriften. Vor dem Erstgebrauch Entfernen Sie sämtliches Verpackungsmaterial und alle Transportsicherungen vom Produkt. HINWEIS Beim Erstgebrauch kann es kurzzeitig zu leichter Geruchsbildung kommen. Schneiden Sie in keinem Fall innerhalb des Warnsymbols, da Sie das Heizelement beschädigen können. Wählen Sie zuerst die Schuhe aus, in denen Sie die Einlegesohlen tragen wollen. Berücksichtigen Sie dabei, dass die Einlegesohlen ca. 4 mm auftragen und je besser der Schuh gegen Kälte isoliert ist, desto länger können Sie mit einer Akkuladung heizen. Die Schnittmarken für verschiedene Schuhgrößen sind an der Unterseite der Einlegesohlen aufgedruckt und dienen nur als Anhaltspunkt für den Zuschnitt. Schneiden Sie die Einlegesohlen zunächst etwas größer als benötigt zu. Ermitteln Sie die tatsächlich benötigte Größe mittels einer vorhandenen Einlegesohle. Schneiden Sie entlang der Schnittmarken und passen Sie die Einlegesohle an der Ferse und der Seite individuell auf Ihre Größe an. HINWEIS Die Einlegesohle soll im Endzustand möglichst das gesamte Fußbett ausfüllen und sich nicht mehr im Schuh verschieben lassen. EB 1400 A1 31

35 Laden der Akkupacks Die Akkupacks werden über das mitgelieferte Steckernetzteil geladen. Beachten Sie für einen sicheren und fehlerfreien Betrieb des Gerätes beim elektrischen Anschluss folgende Hinweise: DE AT CH ACHTUNG Vergleichen Sie vor dem Anschließen die Anschlussdaten (Spannung und Frequenz) auf dem Typenschild mit denen Ihres Elektronetzes. Diese Daten müssen übereinstimmen, damit keine Schäden am Gerät auftreten. Vergewissern Sie sich, dass die Anschlusskabel unbeschädigt sind und nicht über heiße Flächen und / oder scharfe Kanten verlegt werden. Achten Sie darauf, dass die Anschlusskabel nicht straff gespannt oder geknickt werden. Lassen Sie das Anschlusskabel nicht über Ecken hängen (Stolperdrahteff ekt). Stecken Sie das Steckernetzteil in eine Netzsteckdose. Stellen Sie sicher, dass die Akkupacks ausgeschaltet sind (Funktionsanzeige leuchtet nicht). Verbinden Sie die Anschlussstecker des Steckernetzteils mit den Anschlussbuchsen der Akkupacks. Die Funktionsanzeigen leuchten rot und die Akkupacks werden geladen. Die optimale Ladedauer beträgt minimal 6,5 Stunden und maximal 8 Stunden. HINWEIS Häufi ges Überladen der Akkupacks (über 8 Stunden) führt zu einer Verminderung von Leistungsfähigkeit und Lebensdauer. Bei längerer Lagerung (z.b. über den Sommer) sollten die Akkupacks alle 2 Monate vollständig entladen und anschließend geladen werden. 32 EB 1400 A1

36 Bedienung und Betrieb In diesem Kapitel erhalten Sie wichtige Hinweise zur Bedienung und Betrieb des Gerätes. Einlegesohlen ein- / ausschalten / Heizstufe wählen Legen Sie die zugeschnittenen Einlegesohlen mit der bedruckten Seite nach unten in Ihre Schuhe und führen Sie die Kabel entlang der Ferse nach oben. Befestigen Sie die Akkupacks mit Hilfe der Bügel an Ihren Schuhen und verbinden Sie die Anschlussstecker der Einlegesohlen mit den Anschlussbuchsen des Akkupacks (siehe Abb. 1). DE AT CH Abb. 1 ACHTUNG Bei Verwendung von Halbschuhen, verstauen Sie das überschüssige Kabel in den Socken. Das Kabel darf beim Gehen nicht auf dem Boden schleifen! Betätigen Sie den Funktionsschalter, um das Akkupack einzuschalten. Das Akkupack schaltet sich mit der Heizstufe I ein und die Funktionsanzeige leuchtet grün. Durch erneutes Drücken des Funktionsschalters, kann die Heizstufe II eingeschaltet werden. Die Funktionsanzeige leuchtet rot. Um das Akkupack auszuschalten, drücken Sie erneut den Funktionsschalter. Die Funktionsanzeige erlischt. HINWEIS Es empfi ehlt sich anfänglich zur schnellen Erwärmung die Heizstufe II zu wählen. Später kann bei Bedarf auf die niedrigere Heizstufe zurückgeschaltet werden. Wenn das Akkupack entladen ist, erlischt die Funktionsanzeige und die Einlegesohle wird nicht mehr erwärmt. EB 1400 A1 33

37 Reinigung ACHTUNG DE AT CH Schützen Sie die Einlegesohlen und die Akkupacks vor Feuchtigkeit und dem Eindringen von Flüssigkeiten. Verwenden Sie auf keinen Fall aggressive Reinigungsmittel oder chemische Lösungen, da sonst die Oberfl ächen beschädigt werden könnten. mit einem trockenen fussel- Reinigen Sie die Akkupacks freien Tuch. Die Einlegesohlen sollten gelegentlich aus den Schuhen genommen und gelüftet werden. Lagerung Trennen Sie die Akkupacks von den Einlegesohlen, wenn Sie sie längere Zeit nicht verwenden. Lagern Sie die Einlegesohlen und die Akkupacks in einer trockenen Umgebung ohne direkte Sonneneinstrahlung. Entsorgung Gerät entsorgen Werfen Sie das Gerät keinesfalls in den normalen Hausmüll. Dieses Produkt unterliegt der europäischen Richtlinie 2002/96/EC WEEE (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment). Entsorgen Sie das Gerät über einen zugelassenen Entsorgungsbetrieb oder über Ihre kommunale Entsorgungseinrichtung. Beachten Sie die aktuell geltenden Vorschriften. Setzen Sie sich im Zweifelsfall mit Ihrer Entsorgungseinrichtung in Verbindung. Die Akkupacks müssen getrennt von den Einlegesohlen sachgerecht entsorgt werden. Batterien / Akkus entsorgen Batterien / Akkus dürfen nicht im Hausmüll entsorgt werden. Jeder Verbraucher ist gesetzlich verpfl ichtet, Batterien / Akkus bei einer Sammelstelle seiner Gemeinde / seines Stadtteils oder im Handel abzugeben.
