2 The company History Schnitzler Rettungsprodukte has been developing, producing and marketing qualitative high-grade and innovative products for rescue services and patient transport since The company is based in Niederkassel, Germany close to Cologne, where manufacturing takes places in the on-site production facility. Having been founded by Mr Alois Schnitzler the company is still a family business. 5 Certificates Our products comply with the nomenclature of EN 1789 for Rückhaltesysteme (restraint systems) and that of EN 1865 for Vakuum- Matratzen (vacuum mattresses) CE-Certification in accordance with the Medicinal Devices Act Certification of the Schnitzler Baby-und Kinder-Rückhaltesysteme (Schnitzler infant and pediatric restraint system) by TÜV Rheinland in compliance with EN 1789 The majority of our rescue products has been patented and certified by TÜV Rheinland QM-Certification according to ISO 13485:2016 5
