Gewährleistung Wir gewährleisten im Rahmen unserer allgemeinen Geschäftsbedingungen die einwandfreie Qualität des von uns verarbeiteten Vormaterials lt. vorgenannter angabe sowie die sorgfältige Herstellung unserer e. Wechselnde Gegebenheiten bei der Verarbeitung der Putze erfordern eine Abstimmung auf die jeweiligen Anwendungsverhältnisse. Diese obliegt dem Käufer. Die Gewährleistungsfrist beträgt für Putzprofile entsprechend den gesetzlichen Kaufvertragsvorschriften sechs Monate und beginnt mit dem Liefertermin. Durch Eigenversuche erreichen Sie beste Sicherheit gegen mögliche Fehler, für die wir keine Haftung übernehmen können. Korrosionsprobleme können nur bei andauernder oder sich wiederholender Durchfeuchtung oder zu langsamer Austrocknung der Putze auftreten. - Im Innenbereich für kurze Trocknungszeiten durch gute Be- und Entlüftung sorgen. 3. Herstellung Walzen auf iermaschinen (unter Schonung der oberflächen). Kanten, Pressen und Stanzen. Extrudieren von PVC. 4. Wichtige Verarbeitungshinweise Protektor-Putzprofile sind Putzträger im Sinne der DIN 185 Die in den abbildungen angegebenen Putzdicken sind die zu erreichenden Mindestputzdicken mit einer Toleranz von +/- 1 mm ohne Ansetzmaterial. Diese Nennputzdicken sind beim Ansetzen jeweils sofort zu kontrollieren und nötigenfalls zu reklamieren. Nachträgliche Reklamationen nach erfolgtem Putzauftrag können nicht anerkannt werden. wahl je nach Einsatzbereich (innen oder außen), vorgesehener Putzdicke und zweckmäßiger Stablänge, z. B. bezogen auf Stockwerkhöhe und Türmaß. Teilbarkeit in Kurzlängen für Fenster und Heizkörpernischen berücksichtigen. Es ist zweckdienlich, alle e mit einer Handblechschere abzuschneiden, keinesfalls darf dies mit einer Trennschleifmaschine geschehen, sonst Gefahr und Schaden an der Verzinkung. Für Kanten und Sockel im Außenbereich werden möglichst große Stablängen empfohlen. PROTEKTOR-e einmal fixiert, ermöglichen kontinuierliches Antragen des Putzes und Abziehen sauberer Flächen über exakte Kanten. Das Anschlagen von Latten wird dadurch überflüssig. e in Erdreichnähe sind durch Spritzwasser und Dauerfeuchte besonders gefährdet und deshalb vorab mit geeignetem Anstrich zu schützen oder Edelstahlprofile verwenden. Bei sehr exponierten Lagen und stark wetterbeaufschlagten Fassaden empfehlen wir den Einsatz von Edelstahlprofilen. Über die Kanten der Edelstahlprofile darf nicht mit Werkzeugen aus normalem Stahl abgezogen werden Fremdrostgefahr! (siehe auch Punkt 9) Dehnungsfugen/Bewegungsfugen Dehnungsfugen sind konstruktiv erforderliche Fugen, die auf Fugenbreite sämtliche Bauteile eines Gebäudes trennen und in den jeweiligen Ausbaugewerken übernommen werden müssen. Beispiel: Altbau/Neubau oder Dehnungsfugen bei Reihenhäusern. Dehnungsfugenprofile überbrücken diese Fugen und nehmen Zug- oder Druckbewegungen entsprechend den Katalogangaben auf. Bewegungsfugen (teilweise auch Arbeitsfugen genannt) sind Trennfugen bedingt durch aufeinander treffende unterschiedliche ien im Putzuntergrund, horizontal oder vertikal. Beispiel: Ausmauerung von Stahl-, Stahlbeton- und Holzskelettbauteilen oder Anordnung von Trennfugen bei großen Flächen zur Aufnahme von Lageänderungen des Wand-, Boden- oder Deckenbelages. 8. Ansetzen der e Für gipshaltige Putze, Mörtelgruppe P IV und Anhydritmörtel der Mörtelgruppe P V, können die e mit dem gleichen angesetzt werden. In Feuchträumen sowie an Flächen, die mit Zement Kalkzement, Putz- und Mauerbinder verputzt werden, darf kein gipshaltiges zum Ansetzen der e verwendet werden. Das gleiche gilt für den Außenputz. Geeignet sind hierfür jeweils sog. Ansetzmörtel auf Zementbasis. Eventuell zur Vorbefestigung der e verwendete verzinkte Stahlstifte sind vor dem Grundputz zu entfernen. 9. Verträglichkeit Prüfen Sie die Verträglichkeit zwischen Putzmörtel und werkstoff. (Siehe Merkblatt für Planung und Anwendung von metallischen Putzprofilen im Außen- und Innenbereich, Seite 7) e aus verzinktem Stahlblech eignen sich für Putze auf der Basis Kalk, Kalkzement, PM-Binder, Zement oder Gips. Aluminiumprofile eignen sich für Gips, Kunstharzputze oder spachtelungen im Innenbereich. Putzprofile aus Edelstahl, , eignen sich für den Einsatz im Außenbereich; für Wärmedämm-Verbundsysteme; für den Einsatz im Sanitärbereich häusliche Bäder und in Küchen, fensterlose Räume mit Zwangsbelüftung, Schächte, Hallenschwimmbäder/Solebäder in Bereichen in denen die e durch Putz, Fliesen oder Farbe überdeckt sind. Freiliegende e bedürfen besonderer Pflege siehe auch Punkt. wo im Lauf der Zeit mit Feuchtigkeitseinwirkung gerechnet werden muss; wo durch besondere Gegebenheiten im Baukörper und in dessen Umfeld optimaler Korrosionsschutz erforderlich ist. Alle Edelstahlprofile dieses Kataloges sind aus dem gefertigt. Sie sind für Innen- und Außenputz einsetzbar.. Reinigung und Pflege freiliegender Oberflächen, z. B. von Fliesen- und Mauerkantenprofilen aus Edelstahl nach dem Einbau Die hohe Beständigkeit der PROTEKTOR-e aus Edelstahl Rostfrei ist nur dann gegeben, wenn die Oberfläche metallisch blank bleibt. Die Oberfläche ist glatt, hart und porenfrei. Man kann die im Handel üblichen Reinigungsmittel einsetzen, in jedem Fall sollte aber nach der Reinigung mit klarem Wasser gründlich nachgespült werden. Grundreinigung Bei Bauteilen an der Außenatmosphäre ist es unbedingt erforderlich, Schutzüberzüge gleich welcher Art sofort nach der Montage zu entfernen. Unter Wärme- und Lichteinwirkung können die Überzüge altern, so dass sie sich nicht mehr rückstandsfrei oder überhaupt nicht mehr abziehen lassen. Darüber hinaus kann es zur Abspaltung von Chloriden und zur Bildung von Salzsäure kommen. Da Rückstände des Klebers oder Schutzlackes (auch unsichtbare) zu Korrosion führen können, ist immer eine Grundreinigung mit einem Grund reiniger erforderlich. Bei der Erstreinigung sollten Kalk- und Zementmörtelspritzer möglichst vor dem Erhärten mit einem Gummischaber, Holzspan oder ähn lichem abgeschabt werden. Keinesfalls Werkzeuge aus normalem Stahl (Spachtel, Stahlwolle) verwenden, da diese Fremdrost bilden können. Salzsäure auch nicht als schwache Lösung darf nicht verwendet oder auf die Oberfläche gebracht werden (z. B. beim Absäuern von angrenzendem Mauerwerk oder keramischen Bauteilen). Wenn beim Verfliesen aus irgendwelchen Gründen auf das Absäuern nicht verzichtet werden kann, sofort mit Wasser gründlich nachspülen (Hochdruckreiniger einsetzen). Pflege Wie oft man reinigen sollte, hängt von Stärke und Art der Verschmutzungen und von den Ansprüchen ab, die man an die optische Beschaffenheit der Bauteile aus Edelstahl Rostfrei stellt. Aufmerksamkeit ist den Stellen zu widmen, wo sich der Schmutz länger ablagern kann. Bei der Anwendung handelsüblicher Reinigungsmittel sind die Gebrauchsanleitungen genau zu beachten. Senziplast steel strip = galvanised steel strip with polyester coating on both sides according to EN Light metal strips or sheets of special alloy, also with acrylic and polyester coating. Stainless steel strip Rigid PVC according to DIN 7748/1. Non-rigid PVC in appropriate shore-hardnesses. Special qualities made of a synthetic caoutchouc mixture. Both materials are weather resistant and durable. 2. Guarantee The company guarantees within its general terms of business the excellent quality of raw material used according to the above mentioned indications as well as the efficient manufacture of products. As the composition and the chemical and physical properties of the plasters used are outside the company s influence, no guarantee can be given for the resistance of the profiles to corrosion. In cases where new plastering and insulating materials are used, the buyer is advised to determine whether they are compatible with the profile material. Varying factors in the application of plaster make it necessary to adapt to the individual working conditions from case to case. This is the responsibility of the buyer. The term of guarantee for plaster profiles is six months, in compliance with the legal regulations on sales contracts, and begins on the date of delivery. Practical tests are the safest way to avoid possible mistakes, for which no guarantee can be given. Corrosion can only occur if the plasters are under permanent influence of humidity or if they dry too slowly. Make sure the plaster dries quickly by airing well. 3. Advice to Follow Protektor plaster profiles are used as plaster support according to DIN 18 5 The plaster thickness shown in the drawings are the minimum thickness to be realized with a tolerance of +/- 1 mm without fixing material. The minimum thickness is to be controlled at the fixing of the profile and in case of differences to be claimed immediately. Claims after the finishing of the plaster work can not be accepted. Choose your profiles to suit their application (inside or outside) and the plaster thickness to be used. Choose practical lengths, e.g. to suit storey height and door size. es can be cut into short lengths for window and radiator recesses. es should be used as long lengths as possible for corners and base-edging outdoors. Cut the profiles with hand plate shears only, do not use a parting-off grinder (there is a danger of damage to the galvanisation). When fixed, PROTEKTOR profiles allow continuous plaster application and ensure neat surfaces and exact edging. Timber laths are not longer necessary. es near the ground are subjected to splashing and permanent dampness and should be protected by a suitable coating or profiles made of stainless steel have to be used. Don t plaster up to the corners of stainless steel profiles with tools made of normal steel danger of extraneous rust (also see point 9). Expansion Joints/Movement Joints Expansion joints are necessary joints for construction reasons, separating in the total joint width the different parts of a building and must be respected in all construction elements. Example: Ancient Building/New Building or expansion joints between aligned houses. Expansion joint profiles cover these joints and take up traction - or pressure movements according the indications in the catalogue. Movement joints (also sometimes called working joints) are separation joints due to different materials meeting together horizontally or vertically in the basic plaster ground. Example: Wall finishing of structural steel-, armoured concrete - or structural timber construction parts or application of separation joints in case of big surfaces to take up position changements of the wall - floor - or ceiling covering. 8. Installing the es In the case of the plaster of the P IV, which have a gypsum content, and anhydrous gypsum of the PV mortar, the profiles can be fixed with the same material. In damp rooms and in the case of surfaces where cement lime cement, plaster and wall binding agents are to be applied, materials containing gypsum should not be used for fixing the profiles. The same applies for exterior rendering. In such cases, fixing mortar on a cement base should be used. Should galvanised nails be used for fixing the profiles, they should be removed before the plaster is applied. 9. Compatibility Make sure the plaster is suitable for use with the profile material. Galvanised steel profiles are suitable for plasters on a lime, limecement, plaster binding agent, cement or gypsum base. Aluminium profiles are suitable for gypsum and synthetic resin plasters and primers for interior use. Stainless steel profiles, material no , are suitable for: exterior application; thermal insulation systems; application in sanitary rooms, domestic bathrooms and kitchens; rooms without windows with compulsory ventilation, shafts, etc. (but not in indoor swimming pools/saltwater swimming pools); where there is constant or long term humidity; where special circumstances in the construction and its environment require an optimum protection against corrosion. All stainless steel profiles shown in this catalogue are made of the material They are suitable for interior and exterior plastering. Please contact us if a higher protection against corrosion, and therefore a higher alloy of stainless steel, is required.. Cleaning and care of uncovered surfaces, e.g. of profiles for ceramic tiles and heavy corner beads made of stainless steel after fixing The high resistance of PROTEKTOR stainless steel profiles is only guaranteed if the surface is unblemished. The surface is plain, hard and non-porous. You can use customary cleaning material, but should rinse thoroughly with clear water after cleaning. Basic cleaning At exterior construction elements it is absolutely necessary to remove protection coating immediately after fixing. Atmosphere influences can lead to aging of the coating making removal difficult or impossible. This can also lead to separation of chloride and formation of hydrochloric acid. Since invisible traces of adhesives or protection lacquers can lead to corrosion, cleaning with basic cleaner is always necessary. In case of first cleaning, lime and cement splashes should be removed with a rubber scraper, a wood ship or similar if possible before setting. Do not use tools made of normal steel (spattle, steel wool), since they can cause extraneuous rust. Hydrochloric acid should not be put on the surface even as weak solution (e.g. acid treatment from adjacent brickwork or ceramic construction elements). If tiling cannot be done without acid treatment you should wash thoroughly with clear water immediately (use high-pressure cleaner). Maintenance How often you should clean depends on intensity and type of dirt as well as on demands you make on the visual quality of the stainless steel construction elements. Particular attention should be paid to possible dirt traps. If using usual cleaning material the instructions for use should be strictly observed. Subject to alterations!
