Vi rekommrar att du läser instruktionshäftet noggrant innan du sätter upp ditt tält och att du tränar ordtligt på att sätta upp och ta ner t innan du går ut på din första tur. Trots sin låga vikt är Rog mycket starkt om t används korrekt, m t kräver noggrann skötsel och handhavan för att fungera optimalt. Följ alla anvisningarna i tta häfte så kommer Rog att fungera väl för dig unr många år. Rog innehåller följan Yttertält i Kerlon 1000, hopkopplat med innertält. Montera linor 4 st med linsträckare. You have invested in a truly high-d, high quality tt, so take care of your investmt. We strongly recommd that you read these instructions completely before setting up your tt, and that you practice setting up your tt at home before taking it on a backcountry trip. Despite its light weight, the Rog is exceptionally strong if used correctly, but it does require proper care and handling to function at its full pottial. Follow ALL directions in this booklet. Doing this will sure the greatest longevity of your tt and the maximum befit to you. What s includ with the Rog One outer tt in Kerlon 1000 connected to one inner tt; 4 attached guy lines with line runners; two 377 cm x 9 mm poles with lock tips and one 127 cm x 9 mm pole with round ds ; 12 pegs; stuff bags for tt, poles and pegs; one spare pole section; one pole repair sleeve; and an instruction booklet. note: There are 12 possible peg points on the Rog. Basic pitching takes just two pegs, but we recommd that you carry and use the others, and that you make guy line use part of your normal routine, since weather in the backcountry is always unpredictable! Trotz seines gering Gewichts ist das Rog bei korrekter Anwdung extrem belastbar. Um optimal zu funktionier, bedarf es jedoch sorgfältiger Pflege und Handhabung. Folge all Anleitung, so wirst Du an diesem Zelt lange Freu hab. Rog Inhalt Außzelt aus Kerlon 1000 mit eingebautem Innzelt. 4 vormontierte Abspannlein mit Leinspannern. Zwei 377 cm 9-mm-Zeltstang mit Lock Tips und eine 127 cm 9-mm-Zeltstange mit rund End. 12 Heringe. Packsäcke für Zelt, Gestänge und Heringe. 1 extra Stangsegmt, 1 Reparaturhülse und 1 Aufbauanleitung. achtung! Das Zelt besitzt 12 Ansatzpunkte für die Heringe. 2 davon werd minsts bötigt, damit das Zelt steht. Wir empfehl trotzm immer alle Heringe und Abspannlein zu verwd, da sich die Wetterbedingung schnell änrn könn. 2 3

3 1 2 Att välja tältplats 1 Välj så vindskyddad och jämn plats som möjligt, och fri från sådant som kan skada ditt tält. En konvex yta ger bättre spänning och minskar risk för vatt unr tältet. Viktigt om hantering av tältstängerna 2 4 Våra tältstänger är av högsta kvalitet, m är lättviktsprodukt som kräver korrekt hantering annars kan stång knäckas och i värsta fall leda till fara. Kasta aldrig ut stång för ihopsättning eftersom stånglarna kan få sprickor eller andra skador när slår ihop. Vik ut och sätt ihop sektion i taget. Se till att larna går ihop ordtligt och att inte glir isär eftersom glipa kan orsaka stångbrott. Choosing a tt site 1 Find a spot that is as protected as possible from the wind, and that is ev, level and free of anything that might damage your tt. A slightly convex site will create better stretch in the pitching and minimize moisture collecting unr the tt. Important note about pole usage 2 4 Our tt poles are the best available, but they are still lightweight aluminum. Incorrectly handled, a pole can break, which could be pottially dangerous. Never extd a pole by flinging it op, since the sections hitting each other can cause damage. Unfold each pole carefully, seat each section into place, and sure that pole sections do not pull apart during pitching, as the resulting gaps can lead to breakage. 3 4 Die Suche eines geeignet Zeltplatzes 4 1 Wähle ein Platz, r möglichst windgeschützt, eb und frei von Gegständ ist, die Dein Zelt beschädig könnt. Eine leicht konvex gewölbte Stelle gibt m Zelt eine bessere Spannung und Stabilität, und minimiert Nässeansammlung unter r Zeltfläche. Butzung s Gestänges 2 4 Unsere Gestänge sind von bester Qualität. Sie sind auf Leichtigkeit konzipiert und müss korrekt gehandhabt werd. Bei unsachgemäßer Verwdung könn sie brech und Deine Sicherheit gefährd. Werfe nie das Gestänge zum Zusammbau aus, es könnt dadurch Risse or anre Schäd tsteh! Entfalte je Stange und setze sorgfältig ein Segmt nach m anr zusamm. Achte darauf, dass die Teile beim Aufbau nicht auseinanrrutsch. Die dabei tstehd Spalt könn ein Stangbruch verursach. 5

4 1 Lägg ut och fäst tältet 1 Lägg ut tältet. Om t blåser hårt, fäst lina i din ryggsäck eller annat tungt föremål. 2 & 3 Fäst fotänd (markerad med Hilleberg logo) mot vind. obs: Fäst markpinnarna i fastknutna linslingorna. 4 Markpinnarna ska tryckas ner helt och hållet i 45 grars vinkel. 5 Om t ej går att få ner pinn i rätt vinkel är t bättre att använda flackare vinkel än att låta l av pinn sticka upp ur mark. 6 & 7 Om t är årt att få ner pinn, använd ett hårt föremål för att pressa eller slå ner pinn Lay out and peg the tt 1 Lay out the tt, and, especially in windy conditions, use a guy line to secure the tt to a backpack or other heavy item. 2 & 3 Peg the foot d (marked with the large Hilleberg logo) into the wind. note: put the pegs through the knotted line. 4 Press in the pegs completely at about a 45 angle to the surface of the ground. 5 It is better to use a shallower angle (closer to parallel to the surface) than it is to leave a peg sticking up from the ground. 6 & 7 If it is hard to get the pegs in, use a rock or other hard object to press or if necessary, to lightly hammer them in fully Ausbreit und Befestig s Zeltes 1 Breite das Zelt aus. Stecke die Heringe durch die geknotet Schlauf. 4 Presse die Heringe komplett in einem Winkel von ca 45 Grad in d Bod. 5 Sollte dies nicht möglich sein, ist ein flacherer Winkel besser als dass ein Teil s Herings nicht im Bod steckt. 6 & 7 Bütze ein hart Gegstand wn es schwierig ist, d Hering ganz in d Bod zu schlag. 6 7

5 SV Uppsättning 1 3 Säkerställ att stånghållarna är i sitt längsta läge. Skjut sedan igom stång hela väg gom kanal och fäst änd i öljett. Gör samma sak med d andra stång. 4 Skjut in resteran l av stängerna i sina kanal så böjer sig och sätt in stångändarna i öljetterna. 5 Spänn stånghållarna på bägge sidor. 6 Fäst markpinnarna i huvudänds hörnslingor. 7 9 Kontrollera att du inte trampar på tältet, öppna övre l av absidöppning, markerad med rött band och sätt in d korta stång i kanal. Spänn bant för att säkra att stång sitter kvar Drag ut stånghållarna på absirna i sitt längsta läge och fäst m med markpinnar. Se till att markpinnarna sitter helt nere i mark. (Se sid 7.) Drag åt stånghållarna så absirna är riktigt spända en Pitching the tt 1 3 Make sure the pole tsioner tabs are set to their longest, th push one pole all the way through its sleeve and secure one d into the grommet in the webbing tab. Repeat with the other pole. 4 Push on the other ds of the poles so that each arches into shape, and put the ds into the grommets. 5 Tight the pole tsioner straps on both sis. 6 Peg the head d corners through their knotted lines. 7 9 Making sure not to step on the outer tt, op the top of the vestibule marked with the red tape and insert the short pole into the sleeve. Tight the webbing strap to secure the pole in place Adjust the peg attachmt points on the vestibules to their longest, and peg them out, pressing the pegs fully into the soil (see page 7). Tight the adjusters to make the vestibules taut Zeltaufbau 1 3 Lockere alle Kanalspanner vollständig. Öffne die rot markierte Seite r Absi oberhalb und führe die kurze Stange in d Kanal ein. Straffe d Kanalspanner an Stelle die Heringsbefestigung r Absid auf ihre maximale Länge ein. Verankere die Absid sorgfältig mit Hering (siehe Seite 7). Spanne die verstellbar Heringsbefestigung an, damit die Absid gestrafft sind. 9

6 1 2 Förankra tältet obs: Äv om Rog står bra med bara markpinnarna i absirna insatta, rekommrar vi att du alltid använr alla markpinnar och linor eftersom vädret kan ändra sig snabbt. 1 & 2 Drag ut linorna i sitt längsta läge och fäst m ligt skiss. Kontrollera att alla markpinnar är helt nere i mark i rätt vinkel (se sid 7.) 3 & 4 Extra linfäst vid absirnas blixtlås ger möjlighet att, vid behov, fästa extra linor. obs: Tältlinorna skall vara spända m inte så mycket att ändrar tältets form. Anchoring the tt note: While the Rog is fully pitched with just the two vestibules pegged out, we recommd that you always use all the pegs and all guy lines since weather conditions can change quickly. 1 & 2 Make sure all the guy lines are set to their longest lgth, and peg out the guy lines as shown in the illustration. Make sure the pegs are fully pressed into the ground at the proper angle (see page 7). 3 & 4 Attachmt loops along the trances zipper lines allow for the addition of more guy lines if necessary. note: The guy lines should be taut, but not so tight that they form the tt Verankern s Zeltes achtung! Auch wn das Rog durch bloßes Sichern r Absid gut steht, empfehl wir immer alle Heringe und Abspannlein einzusetz, da sich die Wetterbedingung schnell änrn könn. 1 & 2 Strecke die Lein so lang als möglich aus und positioniere sie so, dass das Zelt in alle Windrichtung stabil steht (siehe Skizze). Achte darauf, dass die Heringe richtig sitz (siehe Seite 7). 3 & 4 Zusätzliche Abspannlein könn an d Schlauf tlang r Eingänge befestigt werd. achtung! Die Zeltlein sollt nur so stark gespannt werd, dass sie nicht die Form s Zeltes veränrn. 11

7 Användning av yttertältets dörr 1 4 Bägge sidorna av yttertältets ingång kan rullas åt sidan och fästas. Detta innebär att du kan använda vilk sida du vill som ingång och ger äv maximal vtilation och utsikt i fint vär. 5 För att växla från a l på öppning till d andra, flytta toggl på pinnfästet till andra sidan av blixtlåset. 6 För att undvika att tyget fastnar i blixtlås är t bra att hålla ett finger framför blixtlåslöpar vid öppning och stängning. obs: Trampa aldrig på dörrflik eller låt d ligga på mark eftersom risk då är stor att t kommer jord, sand eller annat skräp i blixtlås, vilka då snart slutar fungera. Using the outer tt door 1 4 Both flaps on the outer tt doors can be rolled away completely and secured. This allows try from either si as well as a great way to maximize both vting and views in fine weather. 5 To change from one si of the try to the other, move the toggle on the peg tsioner to the ring on the other si of the zipper. 6 It is a good ia to keep your finger in the zipper as you op or close it. This keeps the door fabric from catching, and will increase the life of your zippers. note: Make sure not to step on the door, or to let it lay on the ground; this will drag the zipper in the dirt, and grit in the zipper will reduce its life span. 5 6 Butzung r Außzelteingänge 1 4 Die Eingänge sind sehr vielseitig. Bei Seit r Außzelteingänge könn aufgerollt und seitlich befestigt werd. Komplett geöffnet sorg sie für angehme Vtilation und Rundumsicht bei schönem Wetter. 5 Um die Eingangsseite zu wechseln, bringe einfach d Knebel r verstellbar Heringsbefestigung am gegüberliegd Ring s Reißverschlusses an. 6 Führe beim Öffn und Schließ ein Finger vor m Schieber tlang, um zu verhinrn, dass sich Gewebe im Reißverschluss verhakt. achtung: Vermei es auf die geöffnete Eingangstür zu tret or sie am Bod lieg zu lass, da Sand und Schmutz die Reißverschlüsse dauerhaft schädig

8 1 2 Användning av innertältsdörr 1 5 Båda innertältsingångarna kan öppnas helt och rullas åt sidan och säkras med toggle och resårband. obs: Låt aldrig dörrflikarna ligga på mark eller trampa på d eftersom t kan innebära att sand, jord eller annan smuts fastnar i blixtlåset och t slutar fungera. 3 4 Using the inner tt door 1 5 Both inner tt trances can be oped and fully rolled to the si and secured with the toggle and loop fasters. note: Make sure not to step on the doors, or to let them lay on the ground; this will drag the zipper in the dirt, and grit in the zipper will reduce its life span. 5 Butzung r Innzelteingänge 1 5 Bei Innzelteingänge könn vollständig geöffnet werd. 9 1 2 Användning av vtilation 1 & 2 Öppning mellan yttertältets nerkant och mark och stora myggnätslarna i innertältet säkerställer konstant vtilation i alla vär. Försök alltid få bra vtilation eftersom t minskar risk för konds. 3 För maximal vtilation rulla undan och fäst bägge dörrlarna på båda sidorna. 4 För att öka skydt mot hård vind och dåligt vär kan du lossa band till stånghållarna på läsidan och spänna ner yttertältet på vindsidan. 3 Using the vtilation system 1 & 2 The gap betwe the Rog s outer tt and the ground and the large mesh panels on the inner tt doors sure constant air flow in all weather. However, it is a good ia to create as much air circulation as possible in your tt as this helps prevt condsation. 3 For maximum vtilation, roll up and secure both flaps of both the outer tt doors. 4 To provi more wind or weather protection on one si, loos the pole tsioners on the lee si and pull down on the outer tt and tight the pole tsioners on the windward si. 4 Butzung s Belüftungssystems 1 & 2 Das hoch angesetzte Außzelt und großzügige Mesh-Bereiche im Innzelt gewährleist eine konstante Luftzirkulation bei jem Wetter. Sorge stets für eine gute Vtilation, damit die Kondswasserbildung geminrt wird. 3 Zur maximal Durchlüftung rolle alle Außzelttür beir Eingänge vollständig auf und befestige sie seitlich. 4 Das Außzelt kann gezielt an die Wettersituation angepasst werd. Lockere die Kanalspanner r windabgewandt Seite und straffe sie an r Wetterseite an, um das Außzelt zum Schutz näher an d Bod zu stell

10 Nedtagning och packning av tältet. Stäng blixtlås och om t blåser, fäst lina i din ryggsäck. 1 4 Lossa markpinnarna i absirna. Öppna kanal till d korta stång och skjut ut d från andra sidan. 5 8 Förläng stånghållarband, tag bort pinnarna i hörn och tag ut stångädarna ur öljetterna. Håll i stångkanal och skjut ut stängerna. Drag aldrig ur stängerna! Vik ihop stängerna och lägg m, tillsammans med pinnpås, i stångpås. 7 9 Vik ihop tältet och rulla ihop t med stångpås i mitt och lägg ner t i tältpås Alternativt, vik eller packa ner tältet i tältpås utan stångpås och läggs m separat i ryggsäck. Stoppa ej ner stångpås utanför tältet i tältpås eftersom tältet då kan skadas Taking down and packing the tt Close the zippers; if it is windy, attach one guy line to a backpack. 1 4 Unpeg the vestibules and lgth the peg tsioners. Remove the short pole by undoing the webbing buckle and pushing out the pole from the opposite si. 5 8 Loos the pole tsioners, unpeg the corners and remove the pole ds from the grommets. Hold onto the pole sleeve itself while pushing the d of each pole. Do not simply pull the poles out of their sleeves. Fold the poles and put them, along with the pegs in their bag, into the pole bag Fold the tt, roll it around the pole bag, and sli the bundle into the tt bag Alternatively, fold or stuff the tt into the tt bag without the poles, and pack the pole bag separately in your pack. Do not push the pole and peg bags down the si of the filled tt bag, as this could damage your tt. Abbau und Verpack s Zeltes Schließe die Reißverschlüsse. Sichere das Zelt mit einer Abspannleine am Rucksack, falls es windig ist. 1 4 Entferne die Heringe r Absid und stelle die Heringsbefestigung sowie Zeltlein auf maximale Länge ein. Öffne d Kanal am Zeltdach und schiebe die Firststange heraus. 5 8 Lockere die seitlich Kanalspanner. Entferne die restlich Heringe und löse die Stangd von d Bodlasch. Halte d Stangkanal in r Hand und schiebe die Stange heraus. Ziehe niemals an d Stang! Lege das zusammgefaltete Gestänge mit m Heringssack in d Gestängesack. 7 9 Rolle das zusammgelegte Zelt um d Gestängesack. Stecke alles in d Zeltpacksack Alternativ kann das Zelt direkt im Zeltpacksack verstaut werd, jedoch sollt Gestänge- und Heringssack separat aufbewahrt werd. Stecke sie unter kein Umständ nachträglich in d Zeltsack - dies kann das Zelt beschädig! 19

11 1 2 SV Utnyttja förl med hopkoppla inner- och yttertält Gom att lossa innertältet helt eller lvis, åstadkoms ett större utrymme som t ex kan användas för att samla större grupp. 1 3 Lossa innertältets toggles från ringarna i yttertältet. 4 & 5 Flytta markpinnarna vid stångändarna till insidan för att hålla stängerna på plats. obs: Yttertältet är vatttätt m väv är ej vtileran, vilket innebär att t är mer känsligt för konds när t används separat. obs: I mycket fuktiga förhålland kan du ta loss innertältet innan tältet tas ner och förvara innertältet separat. Nästa gång du sätter upp tältet, sätt först upp ytter tältet och koppla sedan in t torra innertältet. 3 4 en Taking advantage of the linked inner and outer tts Partially or fully disconnecting the inner gives more room, and the larger space can be used as a group gathering place. 1 3 Detach the inner tt toggles from the rings on the outer tt. 4 & 5 Move the pegs at the base of the pole sleeves to the insi to keep the poles in place. note: The outer tt is waterproof but not breathable, so is more prone to condsation wh used alone. note: In extremely wet conditions, you can tach the inner tt completely and store it in a separate bag before taking down the outer tt. At your next camp spot, set up the outer tt, th reattach the still-dry inner tt. 5 Nutze d Vorteil s herausnehmbar Innzeltes Durch teilweises or vollständiges Entfern s Innzeltes erhältst Du ein geräumig Wetterschutz mit viel Platz für gemütliche Treff. 1 3 Trne die Knebelverbindung von Inn- und Außzelt. 4 & 5 Fixiere die Bodlasch von inn mit Hering, damit das Gestänge weiterhin gespannt bleibt. achtung! Das Außzelt ist wasserdicht, jedoch nicht atmungsaktiv. Bei separater Nutzung kann sich Kondswasser bild. achtung! Bei extrem nass Witterungerhältniss kannst Du das Innzelt vor m Abbau herausnehm und separat verpack. Beim nächst Aufbau errichte zuerst das Außzelt und befestige danach darin das trocke Innzelt

12 Uppsättning av innertältet separat Lossa innertältet från yttertältet. 1 & 2 Lossa d arta toggl som kopplar yttertältet till stånghållar. Lämna kvar d röda toggl som kopplar innertältet till stånghållar. 3 Lägg ut innertältet och fäst markpinnarna i a änd. 4 Skjut stängerna gom resårband med toggles som används för hopkoppling av inner- och yttertält. Fäst stångändarna i öljetterna. (D korta stång behövs inte för att sätta upp innertältet). 5 & 6 Skjut in d andra änd av stång så d böjs och fäst stångändarna i öljetterna. 7 Fäst andra hörn med markpinnar. obs: Innertältet är vattavvisan m ej vatttätt. Använd t separat bart i torrt och bra vär. 5 6 Pitching the inner tt separately Detach the inner tt from the outer tt. 1 & 2 Remove the (black) toggle that connects the outer tt to the grommet tab from the ring. Leave the (red) toggle that connects the inner to the tab in place. 3 Lay out the inner tt and peg one d. 4 Sli the poles through the toggle loops used to connect the inner to the outer tt, and seat the pole ds into the grommets (the short pole is not need to set up only the inner). 5 & 6 Push on the other ds of the poles so that each arches into shape, and put the ds into the grommets. 7 Peg the remaining corners. note: The inner tt is water repellt but not waterproof. Use it alone only in dry conditions and wh you do not expect bad weather Aufbau s Innzeltes ohne Außzelt Trne das Innzelt vom Außzelt. 1 & 2 Löse die schwarz Knebel s Außzeltes von d Ring r Bodlasch. Die rot Knebel s Innzeltes bleib an d Bodlasch. 3 Breite das Innzelt auf m Bod aus und verankere eine Seite. 4 Schiebe die lang Stang r Reihe nach durch die Gummibänr, die zuvor das Inn- mit m Außzelt verbund hab, und setze die Stangd in die Ös r Bodlasch ein. Die kurze Stange wird nicht bötigt. 5 & 6 Wölbe die Stang auf und setze die frei End in die Ös r Bodlasch ein. 7 Verankere die restlich Eck. achtung! Das Innzelt ist wasserabweisd jedoch nicht wasserdicht! Verw es separat daher nur bei gutem und trocknem Wetter. 23

13 SV EN Skötsel av ditt Rog Förvara aldrig tältet längre tid utan att torka t först. Efter varje användning skall t hängas upp för torkning, helst med stängerna isatta så att vävarna kommer ifrån varandra. Innan t torkas och packas, städa ur tältet ordtligt. Om t behöver rgöras använd trasa med ljummet vatt. Granska hela tältet och laga vid behov. Kontrollera alla blixtlås och borsta ur m med hård borste. Detta är extra viktigt om du har använt tältet i sandiga eller smutsiga områd. Om blixtlås inte sköts ordtligt, minskar ras livslängd. Rgör markpinnarna och ersätt skada eller borttappa. Kontrollera stängerna så t inte finns några skador. Då tältet är torrt, allt är kontrollerat och vid behov åtgärdat, packa t i packpås, rullat runt stångpås med pinnpås istoppad. Finns t ett torrt, ljus skyddat och alt utrymme kan t vara bättre att hänga upp tältet istället för att packa ihop t. Låt aldrig tältet stå uppställt längre tid än nödvändigt i direkt solljus. Wn gügd Platz an einem trock, lichtgeschützt und kühl Ort vorhand ist, kann dort das Zelt besser aufgehängt werd, anstatt es im Beutel aufzubewahr. Direkte, langfristige Sonneinstrahlung besonrs auf r Südhalbkugel, unter wüstähnlich Bedingung or auf großer Höhe beschädigt das Gewebe.
