4 4 InPro 8600 Series Inspection of the turbidity sensors InPro 8600 The inspection unit for the turbidity sensor InPro 8600 of METTLER TOLEDO is used for the postcalibration and inspection of the sensor. Further it can be utilized to control periodically and readjust the sensor. Two versions of the inspection unit are available: 1) Calibration Kit: Calibration values are determined by METTLER TOLEDO and printed on the inspection unit and the certificate. Sensor and inspection unit are always provided as a unit and identified with the same serial number. Important: In the case of the Calibration Kit the serial number of the inspection unit must always correspond with that of the sensor. 2) Verification Kit: Calibration values are determined by the user at specific intervals (no values on the inspection unit, no certificate). Inspection unit is supplied without sensor. It can be used for several sensors. Procedure Notice: Please note that a calibration in each Parameter Set (Set A, B and C) of the Transmitter Trb 8300 D is possible (see instruction manual Trb 8300 D, chapter 5). A calibration must always be done based on the same parameter set. 5 InPro 8600 Series 5 1. Remove the sensor from the process (observe the instructions in section 4.4 in the instruction manual of the sensor). 2. Clean the sensor head with a soft cloth and where appropriate with a mild detergent. 3. Place the sensor onto the holding device. Ensure that the sensor is so adjusted, that the arrow (flow direction of the medium) points upwards. 4. Lead cautiously the inspection unit to the sensor head. Align the inspection unit in the way that the hollow on the sensor matches with the nipple on the inspection unit. Hollow (sensor) / Nipple (inspection unit) Sensor Inspection unit Solid reference Important: The inspection unit must in no case be set twisted on the sensor since the solid reference will be destroyed 5. Mount a Varivent clamp around the process connection. 6. Fill the injection device with distilled water (a minimum of 90 millilitres, as bubble-free as possible) 7. Put the injection device into the filler hose. Fill it with distilled water until the storage tank is approximately half filled. Don t extract the injection device from the filler hose. Important: Ensure to avoid blistering inside the measurement system, it causes disturbances. 8. Close the plug. 9. Connect the sensor and check the measured value on the Transmitter or PDA. The measured values enable you to control the sensor to its long time behavior. 10.Pull out the injection device and empty the inspection unit by opening the plug. 11.Remove the Varivent clamp from the process connection. 12.Remove the inspection unit cautiously without damaging the reference glass. 13.Clean and dry cautiously the inspection unit with a soft cloth. Keep it protected from dirt and moisture in the calibration bag. Notice: An eventually calibration should be done according to the appropriate instruction manuals. 8 8 InPro 8600 Series Überprüfung des Trübungssensors InPro 8600 Die Überprüfungseinheit für den Trübungssensor InPro 8600 von METTLER TOLEDO dient zur Nachkalibrierung und Überprüfung des Sensors. Sie kann dazu verwendet werden, um den Sensor periodisch zu kontrollieren und nachzujustieren. Es stehen zwei Versionen der Überprüfungseinheit zur Verfügung: 1) Calibration Kit: Kalibrationswerte werden bei METTLER TOLEDO bestimmt und auf der Überprüfungseinheit und dem Zertifikat aufgeführt. Sensor und Überprüfungseinheit werden immer als Einheit geliefert und mit der gleichen Serien-Nummer gekennzeichnet. Wichtig: Beim Calibration Kit müssen die Seriennummer der Überprüfungseinheit und des Sensors immer übereinstimmen. 2) Verification Kit: Kalibrationswerte werden durch den Anwender an bestimmten Intervallen ermittelt. (keine Werte auf Überprüfungseinheit, kein Zertifikat). Überprüfungseinheit wird ohne Sensor geliefert. Sie kann an verschiedene Sensoren verwendet werden. Vorgehensweise Hinweis: Beachten Sie, dass beim Transmitter Trb 8300 D für jeden Parameterset (Set A, B und C) eine Kalibrierung möglich ist (siehe Bedienungsanleitung Trb 8300 D / Kapitel 5). Eine Kalibrierung muss immer basierend auf dem gleichen Parameterset gemacht werden. 9 InPro 8600 Series 9 1. Entfernen Sie den Sensor vom Prozess (beachten Sie die Hinweise in Abschnitt 4.4 in der Bedienungsanleitung des Sensors). 2. Reinigen Sie den Sensorkopf mit einem weichen, nicht fasernden Lappen und gegebenenfalls mit einem milden Reinigungsmittel. 3. Legen Sie den Sensor auf den Halter. Achten Sie darauf, dass der Sensor so ausgerichtet ist, dass der Pfeil (Flussrichtung des Mediums) senkrecht nach oben zeigt. 4. Führen sie vorsichtig die Überprüfungseinheit auf den Sensorkopf. Richten Sie die Überprüfungseinheit so aus, dass die Senke am Sensorkopf mit der Kugel auf der Überprüfungseinheit übereinstimmt. Senke (Sensorkopf) / Kugel (Überprüfungseinheit) Sensor Überprüfungseinheit Feststoff-Referenz Wichtig: Die Überprüfungseinheit darf auf keinen Fall verdreht auf den Sensor gesetzt werden, da dadurch die Feststoff-Referenz zerstört wird. 5. Montieren Sie eine Varivent Klammer um den Prozessanschluss. 6. Ziehen Sie die Spritze mit destilliertem Wasser auf (min. 90 ml, möglichst blasenfrei) 7. Stecken Sie die Spritze in den Einfüllschlauch ein. Füllen Sie ihn mit destilliertem Wasser bis die Füllstandsanzeige ungefähr bis zur Hälfte gefüllt ist. Lassen Sie die Spritze in den Einfüllschlauch stecken. Wichtig: Achten Sie darauf, dass im Innern keine Blasenbildung auftritt, die die Messung stört. 8. Schliessen Sie den Hahn. 9. Schliessen Sie den Sensor an und überprüfen Sie den Messwert am Transmitter oder PDA. Die gemessenen Werte ermöglichen Ihnen, den Sensor auf sein Langzeitverhalten zu kontrollieren. 10.Ziehen Sie die Spritze aus und entleeren Sie die Überprüfungseinheit durch das Öffnen des Hahns. 11.Entfernen Sie die Varivent Klammer um den Prozessanschluss. 12.Entfernen Sie vorsichtig die Überprüfungseinheit ohne das Referenzglas zu beschädigen. 13.Reinigen und trocken Sie vorsichtig die Überprüfungseinheit mit einem weichen, nicht fasernden Lappen. Bewahren Sie diese vor Schmutz und Feuchtigkeit geschützt im Kalibrierkoffer auf. Hinweis: Eine eventuelle Kalibrierung des Sensors ist gemäss Bedienungsanleitung des Transmitters oder PDAs durchzuführen. 12 12 InPro 8600 Series Contrôle des sondes de turbidité InPro 8600 L unité de contrôle pour la sonde de turbidité InPro 8600 de METTLER TOLEDO est utilisée pour la calibration sur le site d utilisation et l inspection de la sonde. Elle peut par la suite également être utilisée pour le contrôle périodique et le réajustement de la sonde. Deux versions de l unité de contrôle sont disponibles: 1) Kit de Calibration: Les valeurs de calibration sont déterminées par METTLER TOLEDO et imprimées sur l unité de contrôle et sur son certificat. La sonde et l unité de contrôle forment un ensemble, dont les deux éléments sont pourvus du même numéro de série. Important: Dans le cas du Kit de calibration, le numéro de série de l unité de contrôle doit obligatoirement être le même que celui de la sonde à calibrer. 2) Kit de Vérification: Les valeurs de calibration sont déterminées par l utilisateur à des intervalles spécifiques qu il a determiné lui-même (pas de valeur de calibration imprimée sur l unité de contrôle, pas de certificat). Le kit de vérification est fourni sans sonde de mesure et peut être utilisé pour vérifier plusieurs sondes. Procédure Note: La calibration de la sonde de turbidité est possible pour chacun des jeux de paramètres (A, B ou C) du transmetteur Trb 8300 D (voir manuel d instruction du transmetteur, chapitre 5). Une calibration doit toujours être effectuée sur la base du même jeu de paramètres. 13 InPro 8600 Series Enlever la sonde de l installation de process (observer les instructions de la section 4.4 dans le manuel d instructions de la sonde). 2. Nettoyer la tête optique de la sonde avec un chiffon doux et si nécessaire un détergent doux. 3. Placer la sonde sur le support. S assurer que la sonde est bien en place de manière que la flèche (indiquant la direction du flux) pointe vers le haut. 4. Monter avec précaution l unité de contrôle sur la tête de la sonde. Aligner l unité de contrôle de façon à ce que l onglet sur le Kit s aligne parfaitement sur la cavité de la sonde située sur la partie supérieure. Cavité (sonde) / Onglet (unité de contrôle) Sonde Unité de contrôle Référence solide Important: L unité de contrôle ne doit en aucun cas être tournée sur la sonde, ce qui pourrait résulter en une destruction de la référence solide. 5. Fixer une bride Varivent sur la connexion. 6. Remplir la seringue avec de l eau distillée par le tuyau d entrée (minimum 90 ml, avec le moins de bulles que possible) 7. Monter la seringue sur le tube de connexion. Remplir avec l eau distillée jusqu à ce que le réservoir soit é moitié rempli. Ne pas séparer la seringue du tuyau. Important: S assurer qu il n y a pas de bulles d air entrappées dans le réservoir, qui pourrait résulter en une fausse calibration. 8. Fermer le robinet d entrée. 9. Connecter la sonde et contrôler la valeur de mesure affichée sur le PDA ou le transmetteur. Les valeurs mesurées permettent de vérifier le comportement en dérive sur le long terme. 10.Déconnecter la seringue et vider l unité de contrôle en ouvrant le bouchon. 11.Démonter la bride Varivent. 12.Enlever avec précaution l unité de contrôle sans endommager la référence solide. 13.Nettoyer et sécher l unité de contrôle avec un chiffon doux. Eviter toute saleté et humidité sur l unité de contrôle en l emballant dans le boîtier de protection. Note : Une calibration devrait être faite suivant le manual d instruction approprié.
