1 Das Helmholtz Zentrum München ist Mitglied einer der europaweit führenden Forschungsorganisationen - der Helmholtz Gemeinschaft Deutscher Forschungszentren e. V. Ziel unserer Forschung ist es, Gesundheitsrisiken für Mensch und Umwelt frühzeitig zu erkennen, Mechanismen der Krankheitsentstehung zu entschlüsseln und Konzepte zur Prävention und Therapie von Erkrankungen zu entwickeln. Das Zentrum für Allergie & Umwelt (ZAUM) ist eine gemeinsame Einrichtung von zwei starken Partnern: Dem Helmholtz Zentrum München sowie dem Universitätsklinikum der Technischen Universität München. Neben den Standortvorteilen am Campus des Helmholtz Zentrums profitieren wir von einer direkten Assoziation zum Universitätsklinikum München, wodurch ein optimaler Zugang zu klinischer Expertise und Material vorhanden ist. Dies ermöglicht es uns, effektiv die Brücke zwischen Klinik und experimenteller Forschung zu schlagen. Thematisch befasst sich die Arbeitsgruppe mit den zellulären und molekularen Prozessen, die die Entstehung von chronischen entzündlichen Erkrankungen, wie z.b. Allergien und Autoimmunität, erlauben und vorantreiben. Ein besonderes Augenmerk wird dabei auf den möglichen Einfluß von Umweltfaktoren, wie z.b. Abgase, Bakterien und Pollen, auf das Immunsystem gelegt. Technische/n Assistent/in (MTA/Biologie Laborant/BTA) in Teilzeit (30 Std./Woche)2017/0460 Ihre Aufgaben - aktive Mitarbeit in einem jungen und interdisziplinären Forscherteam - Mitarbeit an allergischen Mausmodellen - Durchflusszytometrie, ELISA und andere immunologische Methoden (Kenntnisse werden vorausgesetzt) - Histologie, Zellkultur sowie molekularbiologische Methoden (Kenntnisse sind von Vorteil) - Organisation, Dokumentation und Unser Angebot Bei uns können Sie gemeinsam mit internationalen Spitzenforschern Ihren Beitrag zur Erforschung des Entstehens, der Pävention und der Therapie von umweltbedingten Erkrankungen wie Diabetes, chronischen Lungenerkrankungen und Allergien leisten. 2 Kommunikation der experimentellen Arbeit - Mithilfe beim Labormanagement Ihre Qualifikationen - abgeschlossene Ausbildung als Biologie Laborant, BTA oder MTA (Erfahrung mit experimentellen Mausmodellen von Vorteil) - engagiert, gewissenhaft und enthusiastisch - ausgeprägte Teamfähigkeit Weiterentwicklung. 4 The Helmholtz Zentrum München in Munich, Germany, is member of one of the leading research associations in Europe - the Helmholtz Association of German Research Centers. The aim of our research is to proactively detect health risks involving humans and the environment, decoding the mechanisms of pathogenesis and developing concepts for prevention and therapy. Structurally embedded in the Technical University (TUM/MRI) and the Helmholtz Center Munich, the Center of Allergy & Environment (ZAUM) conducts imunological basic research with the clear scope of clinical application. We profit from the clinical nput and material transfer provided by the clinics of the Technical University, as well as from an environment of cutting edge technology and diverse experimental platforms provided by the Helmholtz Center. Our research group is primarily interested in adaptive and innate immune mechanisms and their interplay with environmental factors in the initiation and progression of allergic lung and skin inflammatory diseases. To unravel the complex immune network and the cellular players critically involved we employ molecular, cell biological and genetic methods in experimental disease models.
