3 Silokanal Brandenburg Short description of the Silo-Canal (Silokanal) in Brandenburg: The Silo-Kanal in Brandenburg is one of the most famous and popular course fishing waters in Germany. Optimum fishing conditions and good catches are a trademark of these waters; the canal is approx. 100m meters wide and up to 4.5 meters deep with a slight to medium flow. Recommended Angling methods are Pole with float weights of 2-10 g but also match and bolo methods of fishing are successful. The water is navigable and freight-ships pass at irregular intervals. The paths along the banks cannot be accessed by car so you must have a means of transporting all the equipment you will need to your peg.
