3 Locations and directions: maps you will find at the next pages You can easily reach everything by walking, but there is also tram and S-Bahn. main station Faculty of Physics and Earth Science (Linnéstr. 5): a) take a S-Bahn (any line) in south-direction (platform 1) to station Bayerischer Bahnhof (3 stations) and walk 5 to 10 minutes (this makes sense if you are already arriving with S-Bahn or if on your ticket is just Leipzig given as destination) b) in front of the main station take tram16 (direction Lößnig ) to station Johannisalle (5 stations) and walk 2 minutes (you need a ticket Einzelfahrt for Zone 110 for 2.60, or Tageskarte for 7.40 if you plan to ride more frequently) main station hotel: it is a short walk, see map hotel Faculty of Physics and Earth Science (Linnéstr. 5): in front of the hotel turn left and follow the Nikolaistraße to Grimmaische Straße (main shopping mall), turn left, follow, cross the Augustusplatz, the station is at the main crossroad, see map then enter tram16 at station Augustusplatz (direction Lößnig ) Johannisallee here you can use a ticket Kurzstrecke for 1.90 hotel Restaurant Bayerischer Bahnhof (Bayerischer Platz 1) same as above, but leave one station earlier ( Bayerischer Platz ), you will directly see the portico, there is the entrance or just walk hotel Zum arabischen Coffee Baum (Kleine Fleischergasse 4) a short walk, turn right to street Brühl, turn left, next possibility left again, hit Böttchergäßchen to the right (at the Stadtgeschichtliches Museeum ), turn slightly left to and then leave the Marktplatz to your left side and enter the passage Barthels Hof or the street Barfußgäßchen, and you are almost there (see map) note: departing from the Faculty building, use tram 16 in direction Messegelände or S-Bahn direction Somewhere, via Leipzig Hauptbahnhof tief
