Das Projekt EVET befasst sich schwerpunktmässig mit den folgenden Herausforderungen: - Realisierung eines massgeblichen Qualitätsmanagementsystems für den Bildungsbereich - Sicherstellung, dass dieses kompatibel ist mit sowohl CAF, EFQM, EQARF, ISO 9004, ISO 10015, ISO 29990 als auch nationalen Bildungs-Qualitätsmanagementsystemen - Bereitstellen einer Plattform für die kontinuierliche Selbstbeurteilung ( Self-Assessment ) und dessen fortlaufende Optimierung - Ausarbeiten eines Leitplans zur Erreichung einer international anerkannten Excellence Auszeichnung (z.b. Committed to Excellence) - Unterstützung der Europäischen Harmonisierung im Bildungswesen Zusammenfassung: Beschreibung: The project aims at implementing an updated (EFQM 2010) and extended (ISO10015, Q2E) solution of the software developed during the SAETO-Project (LI-05-B-F-PP-164510) as well as the planning and evaluation of training measures needed for the accreditation process in higher education units, with up to 10 VET institutions in five regions, namely CH, UK, DE, IL and NL. A special focus in the piloting will lie on adding and validating a sector specific support for the strategic orientation of the individual ETO. Besides piloting a validation of the new, extended application, the project will carry out a cultural adaptation of the solution to the requirements of the new regions. As a result it is expected to have SAETO+ adapted and validated for 5 European regions, with a special effort in raising the awareness for this solution in CH. The selected partners for the project cover all relevant areas (VET-organisations, companies), regions and required know-how (software development etc.) Quality in VET-Vocational Education and Training (including adult education) is one of the central issues of the Copenhagen Process towards more trust-based transparency and quality in VET.The penetrability of the education system and the effects on the labour market are critical factors of competitive economies. There is the need for instruments, procedures and methods for improving VE systems by contributing to the design of a national approach and use it for developing the use of the European Quality Assurance Reference Framework- EQARF. Due to its discoursebased total quality conception, the EFQM Excellence Model is the most appropriate quality scheme in the pedagogic field, after an initial rush for ISO in the 90ies.The Leonardo Project SAETO (LI-05-B-F-PP-164510) developed a software-supported system for self-assessment in Educational and Training Organisations. (ETO) This tool translates the EFQM model to the educational sector and links it with ISO 9000 in one assessment effort. The solution is complemented by e-learning modules. Because of the different quality in the VET organizations, there is a need for well structured deployment of the developed solution and further adaptation to specific requirements of public and private key players. The selected partners for the project cover all relevant areas (VET-organisations, companies) and required know-how (software development etc.)the first step is to select in each partner country two VET institutions for carrying out a gap analysis. This will show what is still needed for increasing the Vet quality in the participating countries. A main argument for an extension of the existing solution would be the possibility to include in the existing self-assessment an even wider range of accreditation and certification needs of educational institutions, as the original SAETO solution offers. This would include the ISO 10015, Q2E as well as the 2
Projektinformation planning and evaluation of training measures needed for the accreditation process in higher education units, thus minimizing the costs for the certification of education and training programmes. Additionally the existing solution would be updated to the newest versions of the underlying standards, such as the EFQM 2010 Model.To support this, the proposed project aims at implementing the new solution with up to 10 VET institutions in five regions, namely Switzerland, UK, DE, Ireland, and Netherlands. A special focus in the piloting will lie on adding and validating a sector specific support for the strategic orientation of the individual ETO. The partnership for this project consists of up to two ETO of each of the target regions. Besides piloting a validation of the new, extended application, the project will carry out a cultural adaptation of the solution to the requirements of the new regions.as a result it is expected to have SAETO+ adapted and validated for 5 European regions, with a special effort in raising the awareness for this solution in CH.
