SOLUTIONS TO SECURE THE BRAND VOID / CHECKERBOARD To discourage theft or unauthorized transfer of assets. The material will leave behind a geometric Checkerboard or Void pattern when label removal is attempted from the application surface. The Checkerboard or Void pattern becomes visible on both the application and film surface providing instant evidence of tampering. BREAKCOAT VOID Two new products have been developed to offer the traditional overt feature (activating a void message to show tamper evidence) with the added benefi t of being able to activate from almost any surface. On diffi cult surfaces, standard void-able fi lms don t work. This is due to either tearing of the surface or failing to get the ideal balance of adhesion to the strength needed to initiate the tamper evident pattern. FLEXcon have developed new breakcoat void fi lms whereby the fi lm itself becomes the initiator of the tamper pattern by splitting, thus removing the traditional role of the adhesive and lacquer used to initiate the pattern. These products can therfore be used on a larger variety of surfaces including most types of cardboards including heavily varnished cardboards which vary dramatically in surface finish. DESTRUCTIBLE FLEXcon offer a range of destructible films suitable for both indoor and outdoor use. These films are used as security labels or seals and are virtually impossible to remove in one piece. The destructible film breaks into tiny pieces if anyone tries to remove it, providing tamper evidence and discouraging unauthorised asset transfers. OPTICALLY BRIGHTENED VOID These fi lms offer the end user something different in that they have the traditional overt voidable feature (on removal of the label, the void lettering is initiated leaving the void feature both on the substrate as well as on the fi lm removed). The fi lm has a second feature whereby the void lettering acts as a simple verifi cation tool. By shining a UV light on to the surface the void lettering luminesces. SHRINK One of the common tools used to tamper with products is heat. Using a simple hair dryer, the heat softens the adhesive and allows the tamper-evident film to be removed without initiating and then can be stuck back down in one piece. This shrink product was developed to combat just this kind of attack and comes in combination with a blue dyed high performance rubber based adhesive which is designed to tear the substrate if anyone trys to remove the label at room temperature. Once shrinkage occurs the blue dyed V-88 leaves a very visible footprint showing the consumer clear evidence of tampering. Beim Ablöseversuch hinterlässt das Material ein geometrisches Schachbrett- oder Void-Muster auf dem Untergrund. Jede Manipulation ist sofort am Schachbrett- oder Void-Muster sowohl auf dem Untergrund als auch an der Folienoberfläche erkennbar. BREAKCOAT VOID Zwei neu entwickelte Produkte bieten neben dem traditionellen Void-Merkmal (Aktivieren des Schriftzugs Void als Hinweis auf Manipulation) den zusätzlichen Vorteil, dass sie durch fast jede Oberfläche aktiviert werden können. Für schwierige Oberflächen eignen sich normale Void- Folien nicht: Entweder reißt die Oberfläche ein, oder die ideale Balance aus Haftung und der notwendigen Stärke zum Aktivieren des Sicherheitsmusters wird nicht erreicht. FLEXcon hat neuartige Void-Folien entwickelt, bei denen die Folie selbst das Sicherheitsmuster durch Aufspalten aktiviert. Damit entfällt die traditionelle Rolle des Klebstoffs und Lacks beim Aktivieren des Sicherheitsmusters. Diese Produkte sind daher auf einem breiteren Spektrum an Oberflächen einsetzbar. Dazu gehören auch die meisten Kartonarten, einschließlich stark lackierte Kartons, deren Oberflächenbeschaffenheit erheblich variieren kann. DESTRUCTABLE FLEXcon bietet ein Sortiment mit selbstzerstörenden Folien für den Innen- und Außeneinsatz. Diese Folien werden als Sicherheitsaufkleber oder Siegel eingesetzt und sind fast unmöglich in einem Stück zu entfernen. Beim Ablöseversuch zerreißt die selbstzerstörende Folie in winzige Stücke. Damit gibt sie einen Hinweis auf Manipulationen und beugt der unbefugten Entfernung von Wertgegenständen vor. OPTICALLY BRIGHTENED VOID Diese Folien bieten dem Endanwender nicht nur das herkömmliche Void-Merkmal (beim Ablösen des Aufklebers wird der Schriftzug Void aktiviert und ist danach auf dem Substrat sowie auf der abgezogenen Folie sichtbar). Ein zweites Folienmerkmal ist der Schriftzug Void, der als einfaches Kontrollinstrument dient: Unter UV-Licht leuchtet Void an der Oberfl äche auf. SHRINK Für Manipulationen an Produkten wird am häufi gsten Wärme verwendet. Dabei wird der Klebstoff mit einem gewöhnlichen Haartrockner aufgeweicht. Die Sicherheitsfolie kann dann ohne Aktivierung abgelöst und später in einem Stück wieder aufgeklebt werden. Eigens zum Schutz vor solchen Angriffen wurde dieses Schrumpfprodukt entwickelt. Es ist mit einem hochwertigen blauen Klebstoff auf Kautschukbasis kombiniert. Dieser lässt beim Versuch, den Aufkleber bei Raumtemperatur abzulösen, das Substrat einreißen. Sobald die Schrumpfung einsetzt, gibt der Klebstoff V-88 durch seine blaue Färbung dem Verbraucher einen deutlich sichtbaren Hinweis auf Manipulation. Le Damier ou Void deviennent visibles à la fois sur le substrat et sur la surface de l étiquette prouvant ainsi la fraude. BREAKCOAT VOID Les Void standards ne fonctionnent pas sur des surfaces diffi ciles, cela est dû au substrat qui se déchire et ou à une adhésion insuffi sante qui ne laisse pas apparaître le message Void en cas de fraude. FLEXcon a développé un nouveau fi lm BreakCoat Void pour faireen sorte la sécurité que le message Void fonctionne sur les surfaces diffi ciles. Il s agit d une construction composée de deux couches déposées successivement sur un fi lm enlevable. Avec le BreakCoat Void c est le fi lm lui-même qui se délamine, il révèle le témoin de fraude. Ce produit peut donc s utiliser sur une grande variété de surfaces, entre autres les cartons recyclés dont l état de surface varie énormément DESTRUCTIBLE FLEXcon offre une large gamme de films destructibles pour utilisation aussi bien en intérieur qu en extérieur. Ces films sont utilisés comme des étiquettes de sécurité, ou des sceaux et sont pratiquement impossibles à décoller en un seul morceau. Le film destructible se fragmente en petits lambeaux si quelqu un essaye de le décoller. Il met en évidence la fraude et décourage les transferts de propriétés non autorisés. OPTICALLY BRIGHTENED VOID Un fi lm Void classique fait apparaitre le mot Void à la fois sur le substrat et sur le fi lm enlevé lorsque l on décolle l étiquette. Les fi lms OPTICALLY BRIGTENED VOID apportent à l utilisateur une sécurité supplémentaire par rapport au Void traditionnel visible : une lampe UV met en évidence les lettres du mot Void. SHRINK Un des outils couramment utilisé pour frauder est la chaleur d un simple sèche-cheveux. La chaleur assoupli l adhésif et permet de décoller le fi lm anti-fraude sans le déchirer, il peut alors être recollé ailleurs en une seule pièce. Notre fi lm rétractable a été développé pour combattre ce type de détournements, et est combiné à un adhésif «hautes performances» pigmenté en bleu conçu pour déchirer le substrat si quelqu un essaye de décoller l étiquette à température ambiante.
