BLOK COLLECTION I m certainly not the only one with a small lavatory. This was the idea behind the development of the Blok handbasin that was designed especially for the narrow 1930s-style lavatory in Marike s own home. With its small depth dimension of only 14 cm, the Blok is perfect for a small lavatory. Yet its length of 50, 60, 70 or 80 cm provides enough additional countertop. The water is drained to a narrow fissure and then into the trap. The Blok handbasin can be mounted on the wall or in a corner without a base support and is available in a left or right-sided model. «Je ne suis sûrement pas la seule à avoir de petits W.C.» Voilà l idée qui fut à l origine de la création de la vasque Blok, conçue spécialement pour le petit espace sanitaire du logement des années 30 de Marike elle-même. Grâce à sa profondeur minimale de 14 cm, Blok est idéal pour des toilettes dans un espace réduit. Mais en même temps, les 50, 60, 70 ou 80 cm de longueur offrent assez de place pour y poser des accessoires. L eau s écoule vers le siphon par une étroite fente. La petite vasque Blok peut être accrochée au mur ou installée dans un coin. Elle existe en un modèle gauche et un modèle droite. Ich bin bestimmt nicht die Einzige mit einem kleinen WC. Aus diesem Grundgedanken entstand das Handwaschbecken Blok, das speziell für das schmale WC der 30er-Jahre-Wohnung von Marike selbst entworfen wurde. Dank der geringen Tiefe von 14 cm eignet sich Blok hervorragend für knapp bemessene Gästetoiletten. Die Länge von 50, 60, 70 oder 80 cm bietet gleichzeitig ausreichend Ablagefläche für Accessoires. Das Wasser läuft durch einen schmalen Spalt in den Siphon ab. Das Handwaschbecken Blok kann frei an der Wand hängen oder in einer Ecke angebracht werden. Es ist in einer rechten und linken Ausführung erhältlich. 96 Ik ben vast niet de enige met een klein toilet. Dit was de achterliggende gedachte bij het ontstaan van het Blok fonteintje, dat speciaal is ontworpen voor de smalle toiletruimte van de jaren 30-woning van Marike zelf. Door de geringe diepte van 14 cm is de Blok ideaal voor een toilet met beperkte ruimte. De lengte van 50, 60, 70 of 80 cm zorgt tegelijkertijd toch weer voor voldoende afzetruimte voor accessoires. Het water wordt afgevoerd naar de sifon langs een smalle spleet. Het Blok fonteintje kan vrij aan de wand hangen of in een hoek worden geplaatst. Het is in een linker en een rechter uitvoering verkrijgbaar.

Het Bolwerk The site of a former World War II bunker in the Museum Quarter, right in the middle of Utrecht, became the location for a dazzling residential complex: Het Bolwerk. In 2006, this project won its developer Edwin Oostmeijer the highly coveted state-awarded Gouden Piramide (Golden Pyramid). Used in this project were the Factor 800 and the Blok handbasin. A l endroit d un ancien bunker dans le quartier des musées au coeur de la ville d Utrecht aux Pays-Bas, a été créé un superbe immeuble d habitation nommé Het Bolwerk (le bastion). En 2006, ce projet du promoteur immobilier Edwin Oostmeijer a gagné le prestigieux prix de la «Gouden Piramide» (pyramide d or). Dans ce projet ont été intégrés des articles de la collection Factor 800 et la vasque Blok. An der Stelle eines ehemaligen Bunkers im Museumsviertel im Herzen der niederländischen Stadt Utrecht wurde die inspirierende Wohnanlage Het Bolwerk entwickelt. Dieses Projekt des Projektentwicklers Edwin Oostmeijer wurde 2006 mit der prestigeträchtigen Goldenen Pyramide ausgezeichnet. In diesem Projekt wurden der Factor 800 und das Blok - Handwaschbecken verwendet. Op de plek van een oude bunker in het Museumkwartier in het hart van de Nederlandse stad Utrecht is het schitterende woongebouw Het Bolwerk ontwikkeld. In 2006 won dit project van ontwikkelaar Edwin Oostmeijer de prestigieuze Gouden- Piramide. In het project is de Factor 800 en het Blok fonteintje toegepast. 102
