E quello che abbiamo fatto con la collaborazione dei produttori giapponesi di carbonio per la realizzazione del Super Ultra- Light Carbon. L obiettivo era quello di produrre materiali molto leggeri e rigidi ed al contempo il più resistenti possibile alle sollecitazioni provocate durante l azione di pesca. Abbiamo lavorato sulla disposizione di fibre di moduli diversi di carbonio M90, M85, M55, M40 che abbinate a resine di ultima generazione rendessero estremamente difficile l ovalizzazione degli elementi delle canne, ovalizzazione che se esasperata porta alla rottura. Particolare attenzione è stata posta sulla superficie esterna che deve consentire una ottima scorrevolezza degli elementi, far si che l acqua scivoli via rapidamente e che respinga i raggi solari evitando il surriscaldamento della resina. Scorrevolezza degli elementi significa poter essere più rapidi nelle azioni di pesca soprattutto con la roubaisienne; La presenza di acqua sugli elementi rende l attrezzo molto più pesante e meno rapido. Durante le giornate di sole, il calore scalda la resina diminuendo la rigidezza della canna; da qui l importanza di evitare il fenomeno dal riscaldamento. On sunny days, the warmth heats up the resin so reducing the stiffness of the rod; this is why it is so important to avoid overheating. In Zusammenarbeit mit japanischen Karbon-Produzenten ist es uns gelungen, unser Super-Ultra-Light-Karbon zu realisieren. Die Zielsetzung lautete, ein extrem leichtes, steifes und zugleich höchst widerstandsfähiges Material zu produzieren, das allen Belastungen standhält. Wie jeder schon erlebt hat, neigen Rutenteile, wenn sie zu stark belastet werden, zum Bruch. Wir haben daher auch an der optimalen Zusammensetzung der verschiedenen Karbonfasermatten M90, M85, M55, M40 gearbeitet. Das Resultat ist ein Material der neuesten Generation, das kaum noch ein zum Bruch führende Deformationen zulässt. Besondere Aufmerksamkeit wurde dabei der Oberfläche gewidmet, um ein optimales Handling zu erlauben, indem sie das Wasser schnell abperlen lässt und die Sonnenstrahlen reflektiert, um eine Überhitzung des Materials zu verhindern. Die Gleitfähigkeit der Teile und die daraus resultierende Schnelligkeit ist vor allem bei der Kopfrute ein entscheidender Vorteil. Ruten, bei denen das Wasser nicht so schnell abperlt, werden schwerer und langsamer. Bei praller Sonneneinstrahlung erhitzt sich das Karbon und die Rute verliert an Steifheit; eben deshalb ist es so wichtig, dieser Erhitzung entgegen zu wirken. Natürlich erkennt man das SUPER-ULTRA- LIGHT-KARBON an seiner anthrazitfarbenen Optik und daran, dass es extrem gut durch die Hände gleitet. 4 FLY
