Introduzione Grazie per aver scelto la tastiera Hama Slimline Questo manuale d istruzione include informazioni riguardo l utilizzo della tastiera e sull utilizzo dei tasti speciali. Si prega di tenere le istruzioni in luogo sicuro per futuri utilizzi. 2. Installazione della tastiera a) Connettere il cavo USB della tastiera alla presa USB del PC b) In base alla versione di Windows presente, potrebbe essere richiesto di installare i driver. Se questo fosse richiesto, si prega di inserire il CD di installazione di Windows all interno del CD-ROM. Nota Nel caso per l installazione non si utilizzi la porta PS/2, non occorre spegnere il PC quando si necessitasse dell uso della connessione USB 3. 4 Quando si connette la tastiera ad un MAC con sistema operativo OS 10.4 o superiore Tasto Power: Freccia in su: Freccia in giù: Mute: CD eject: Spegne il computer Aumenta il volume Diminuisce il volume Disattiva il sonoro Apre il cassetto dell unità CD-ROM Note: 1. Le due connessioni USB sono progettate per una potenza totale di 200 mah ( 100 mah per porta). Questo valore non deve essere superato 2. Le porte USB sono equipaggiate con un circuito di protezione da sovraccarichi, il quale interrompe la connessione alle periferiche se il consumo di corrente è troppo elevato. 3. Per resettare la connessione USB se questo accadesse, sconnettere la periferica. Successivamente sconnettere la tastiera dal PC e ricollegarla. Attenzione! Questa è una periferica di classe A. Questo tipo di apparecchio può causare radio interferenze nell utilizzo in spazi abitativi; se questo accadesse, si consiglia di richiedere l intervento di un tecnico per prendere le necessarie misure preventive. 3

These operating instructions include information about operating your keyboard as well as answers to questions about certain special keys. Please keep these instructions in a safe location for future reference. 2. INSTALLING THE KEYBOARD a) Connect the USB connector to a USB port on your PC. b) Depending on the Windows version, you may be asked for drivers. If this happens, insert your Windows installation CD into the CD-ROM drive. Note Unlike when installing using a PS/2 port, you need not switch off your PC when using a USB connection. 3. The two USB connectors are designed for a total power of 200 ma (100 ma per port). This value must not be exceeded. 2. The USB ports are equipped with an overload protector, which shut shuts off the connected devices if the power consumption is too high. 3. In order to reset the USB connections if this happens, unplug the devices that are plugged into them. Next, briefly unplug the USB connection from the keyboard to the PC, and then plug it in again. Caution! This device is categorized as class A equipment. This equipment can cause radio interference in living spaces; if this happens, you can request the operator to undertake appropriate measures to prevent such interference. 5

7 d Bedienungsanleitung 1. EINLEITUNG Vielen Dank, dass Sie sich für das Hama Slimline Keyboard entschieden haben. Diese Bedienungsanleitung enthält Informationen zur Bedienung Ihrer Tastatur und hält außerdem Antworten auf Fragen zu bestimmten Sondertasten bereit. Bitte bewahren Sie diese Anleitung zum späteren Nachschlagen an einem sicheren Platz auf. 2. INSTALLATION DER TASTATUR a) Verbinden Sie den USB-Anschluss mit der USB-Schnittstelle am PC b) Je nach Windows-Version werden Sie evtl. nach Treibern gefragt, legen Sie in diesem Fall Ihre Windows-Installations-CD in Ihr CD-ROM Laufwerk. Hinweis Im Gegensatz zur Installation über die PS/2-Schnittstelle ist es bei USB nicht notwendig, den PC auszuschalten. 3. SONDERTASTEN Bei Anschluss an einem PC mit dem Betriebssystem Windows 98 SE/ME/2000/XP/Vista Power Word Excel Lauter Leiser Mute Media Herunterfahren des Computers Öffnen Office Word Öffnen Office Excel Erhöht die Lautstärke Verringert die Lautstärke Ton aus Öffnen Media Player 6

8 g Operating Instruction Bei Anschluss an einem MAC-Computer mit dem Betriebssystem OS 10.4 oder höher Power Lauter Leiser Mute CD eject Herunterfahren des Computers Erhöht die Lautstärke Verringert die Lautstärke Ton aus Öffnen CD-ROM Laufwerk Hinweis: 1. Beide USB-Anschlüsse sind zusammen für eine Leistung von 200mA ausgelegt (pro Port max. 100mA), dieser Wert sollte nicht überschritten werden. 2. Die USB Ports sind mit einem Überlastschutz ausgestattet, der bei zu hohem Strombedarf die angeschlossenen Geräte abschaltet. 3. Um die USB-Anschlüsse danach wieder in Betrieb nehmen zu können, entfernen Sie die daran angeschlossenen Geräte. Stecken Sie anschließend den USB-Anschluss der Tastatur am PC kurz aus und wieder ein. Achtung! Dies ist eine Einrichtung der Klasse A. Diese Einrichtung kann im Wohnbereich Funkstörungen verursachen; in diesem Fall kann vom Betreiber verlangt werden, angemessene Maßnahme durchzuführen. 7
