3 1. Installation Installation Um den SonicControl Viewer zu installieren, entpacken Sie zunächst die.zip-datei mit einem herkömmlichen Entpack-Programm. Öffnen Sie bitte die.exe-datei und folgen den Anweisungen am Bildschirm. Weitere Aktualisierungen und Hilfe für den SonicControl Viewer finden Sie auf Website Unter der Menüleiste Hilfe sind die Einbauanleitung als PDF und die Kontaktdaten hinterlegt. Mindestens benötigte Rechnerleistung und Ressourcen - Pentium III 800 Mhz oder vergleichbarer Prozessor MB RAM MB freier Festplattenspeicherplatz x 600 Pixel Auflösung und 256 Farben - Internet Explorer USB-Schnittstelle - serielle Schnittstelle oder seriellen Schnittstellen-Adapter (USB seriell) Systemvoraussetzungen Der SonicControl Viewer benötigt das Betriebssystem Windows XP, VISTA oder Windows 7 um installiert werden zu können. 3

4 2. Bedienung Nach dem Start von SonicControl Viewer erscheint die Schaltgeräteoberfläche auf dem Bildschirm. Wählen Sie unter Geräte Ihre SonicControl Variante aus: SonicControl für Fettabscheider SonicControl für Leichtflüssigkeitsabscheider PV-Fettabscheider mit SonicControl ➊ ➋ ➌ ➎ ➍ ➏ Anschliessend haben Sie unter Objekt die Möglichkeit: - ein neues Objekt anzulegen - ein bereits gespeichertes Objekt öffnen Programm-Oberfläche ➀ Menüleiste ➁ Software-Version Viewer ➂ Objektname ➃ Menüfenster Schaltgerät ➄ Verbindungsanzeige ➅ Beenden-Taste 4

5 3. Einstellungen Die folgenden Unterkapitel erläutern die Einstellmöglichkeiten in SonicControl Viewer. Drücken Sie die Enter- bzw. ESC-Taste um die jeweiligen Fenster zu verlassen. 1. Im Auswahlfeld Optionen mit Sprache die gewünschte Sprache auswählen. 2. Unter Objekt neues Objekt anlegen den gewüschten Objektnamen eingeben 3. Unter Menü Objekte die Betreiberinformationen eingeben 4. Unter Menü Objekte die Planerinformationen eingeben 5. Unter Menü Objekte die Informationen zur Anlage eingeben 6. Unter Menü Objekte die Informationen zur Wartung eingeben 7. Unter Menü Objekte die Informationen zur Behörde eingeben 8. Unter Menü Objekte die Informationen zur Anlagenidentifikation eingeben 5

Anschluss an das Schaltgerät USB-Auslesefunktion Anforderungen an den USB-Stick: - max. 32 GB Speicherkapazität - Dateiformat FAT32 - USB-Stick muss benannt sein Stecken Sie einen handelsüblichen USB-Stick in die USB-Buchse des SonicControl -Schaltgerätes. Speichern Sie nun die Daten aus dem Schaltgerät auf den USB-Stick indem Sie folgende Schritte einleiten: USB-Buchse 0 Systeminfo Informationen 2 Wartung 2.3 Datenspeicherung (Daten speichern auf USB Stick) Nun können Sie die Daten auf dem USB-Stick auf Ihrem Rechner speichern und ggf. in den SoniControl Viewer importieren! 6

7 5. Daten auslesen Daten auslesen - Um Daten auszulesen, müssen Sie vorher ein Objekt anlegen - Sie können nun unter Daten die Daten importieren - Es erfolgt ein automatischer Download der Messergebnisse und des Logbuchs auf den Computer - Nachdem die Daten korrekt und vollständig ausgelesen wurden kommt eine Bestätigungsmeldung - Um eine korrekte Auswertung zu erhalten, ist die Eingabe eines gültigen Datums erforderlich - Unter Menü Ansicht können die Messdaten, sowie das Logbuch eingesehen werden - Unter Menü Objekt kann man das Messprotokoll erstellen und abspeichern, hierbei kann man auch den gewünschten Zeitraum auswählen Sie haben beim Erzeugen des Messprotokolls die Möglichkeit einen gewissen Zeitraum auszuwählen, oder Sie wählen die Monatsansicht aus. 7

Haben Sie Probleme beim Installieren der Software - Prüfen Sie das Betriebssystem Ihres Rechners, ob er den Anforderungen des Handbuches entspricht. - Entspricht Ihre Rechnerleistung den Anforderungen der Software? - Eine erfolgreiche Installation wird durch die Anforderung eines Neustarts angezeigt. - Haben Sie die erforderlichen Administratorrechte zum Installieren der Software an Ihrem Rechner? Falls die oben genannten Punkte zu keiner Lösung beitragen konnten, machen Sie von der Fehlermeldung einen Screenshot und wenden Sie sich mit dem ausgefüllten Kontaktformular (siehe unten) an den Kundendienst. 2. Haben Sie Probleme beim Auslesen der Gerätedaten am Schaltgerät? - Haben Sie den USB-Stick richtig angeschlossen? - Überprüfen Sie die Anforderungen an den USB-Stick (siehe Kapitel USB-Auslesefunktion) Falls die oben genannten Punkte zu keiner Lösung beitragen konnten, wenden Sie sich mit dem ausgefüllten Kontaktformular (siehe unten) an den Kundendienst. 8

13 1. Installation Installation In order to install the SonicControl Viewer, first un-zip the zip data file with a standard program. Open the.exe file and follow the instructions on the monitor. Additional instructions and help for the SonicControl viewer can be found at Under the Help menu the installation manual is available as a PDF document and contact information is available. Minimum computer requirements Pentium III 800 Mhz or equivalent processor 128 MB RAM 250 MB available hard drive memory 1024 x 600 monitor and 256 colors Internet Explorer 5.01 USB connection or USB adaptor connection Computer Requirements In order to operate the SonicControl, the computer on which it is to be install must have the Windows XP, VISTA or Windows 7 operating system. 13

14 2. Bedienung After starting the SonicControl Viewer, the control unit will be pictured on the monitor. Select under the heading 'System' your exact SonicControl model: SonicControl for grease separators SonicControl for fuel / coalescence separators SonicControl for PV Fully Automated grease separators ➍ ➊ ➋ ➌ ➎ ➏ Afterwards, under the heading 'Object' you have the option to: - enter a new object or site name - or to open a current save object / site file Information to control unit ➀ Menu list ➁ Software version Viewer ➂ Site name ➃ Menu display on control unit ➄ Connection display ➅ Stop button 14

15 3. Settings This chapter explains the settings which can be made on the Sonic- Control Viewer. Press Enter oder ESC-Button in order to close the current window. 1.In the selection category Options with Language, choose the desired language. 2. Under 'Object' - 'enter new object' the name of the new object or site can be entered 3. In the Site Name Project, enter the operator s information 4. In the Site Name Project, enter the planner s information 5. In the Site Name Project, enter the separator s information 6. In the Site Name Project, enter the maintenance information 7. In the Site Name Project, enter the local authorities information 8. In the Site Name Project, enter the information to identify the separator 15

Connection to Control Unit USB-function USB Stick requirements: - maximum 32 GB storage capacity - FAT32 data format - USB stick must be named Connect a standard USB stick into the USB port of the SonicControl Control Unit. Now save the Control Unit's information onto the USB stick by doing the following steps USB-Slot 0 System info Information 2 Maintenance 2.3 Save data (Saving data on USB stick) Now, using the USB stick, the data can be transfered to a desktop or laptop computer or also import the data into the SonicContro Viewer program. 16

Data read-out Data read-out - In order to read out data, a site or object name must be entered into the SonicControl - Under the heading 'Data' the data can now be imported - The recorded data as well as the Log book will be automatically downloaded onto the computer - If the data has been properly transfered, a confirmation will appear - In order to obtain analysis, a valid date must be entered - In the 'View' heading, the measured values and the log book can be viewed - In the 'Object' heading the measurement protocol can be created and stored, here the desired timeframe can be chosen The desired time frame can be set prior to creating a protocol, or the month selection can be used 17

Problems with installing the software - Check your computer s operating system and make sure it meets the requirements listed in this manual - Does you computer match the requirements of this software? - A successful installation of the software will be confirmed by a Neustart ( New Start ) being displayed on the monitor. - Do you have the necessary administrator authorization to install this software on your computer? In the case that you are still having difficulties installing the software, please take a Screenshot of error message and fill out and submit the table located at the end of this manual to the KESSEL Customer Service Department 2. Are you having problems with reading the SonicControl Viewer's data on the control unit? - has the USB stick been properly connected? - check the USB stick requirements (see USB Stick requirements chapter) In the case that you are still having difficulties installing the software, please take a Screenshot of error message and fill out and submit the table located at the end of this manual to the KESSEL Customer Service Department 18
