5 5 bcb das konzept bcb the concept In wenigen Jahren hat sich der Bar Convent Berlin von einem kleinen Branchentreff zu einer der bedeutendsten Messen der internationalen Barindustrie entwickelt. Was sind die wichtigsten Gründe dafür? Nähe zur Zielgruppe Stets an der Seite der Aussteller und Besucher, das BCB-Team, bestehend aus dem führenden internationalen Messeveranstalter Reed Exhibitions und den Gründern Jens Hasenbein, Bastian Heuser und Helmut Adam. Das gemeinsame Ziel: für Bartender, Barbetreiber, Distributoren, Hotels und F&B Manager sowie Getränkefirmen und andere Dienstleister der Branche ein perfektes Umfeld für den Austausch zu bieten. Seminar- und Vortragsangebot Ein wichtiges Element hierbei war seit der ersten Veranstaltung ein aufwändiges Verkostungs-, Vortrags- und Seminarangebot, das den Messe-Charakter mitprägt. Jährlich werden die bekanntesten Barprofis und Getränkeexperten nach Berlin eingeladen, um die Besucher über Trends und Neuheiten zu informieren. The Bar Convent Berlin started as a small industry meeting and became one of the most important international bar shows in just a few years. What are the main reasons for this? In touch with the target audience The Bar Convent team, the leading international trade show company Reed Exhibitions and the founders Jens Hasenbein, Bastian Heuser and Helmut Adam are in constant exchange with both visitors and exhibitors. The objective: to offer a perfect meeting and business environment for bartenders, bar ownery, distributors, hotels & F&B managers, beverage producers and other industry professionals. Programme of talks and tastings Since the first year, the programme of talks, panels and tastings has been central to this objective and makes for the unique character of the event. Each year, the most prominent bar and drinks industry professionals are invited to Berlin to share with their audience their knowledge about news and trends. Authenticity and Internationality The bar is an international place. The Bar Convent Berlin has always had international speakers and exhibitors. Our yearly changing country of honour gives further insights into the local and diverse beverage industry of the country. In 2017 we are happy to welcome France as our country of honour. Furthermore over 45 % of visitors are from abroad. Because of its focus on premium gastronomy, the Bar Convent is the ideal environment for presenting and professionally sampling alcohol as a semi-luxury.
