3 rbetswese der rüfapparatur De Messvorrchtung besteht aus enem geschlossenen Gehäuse aus gut letendem Materal. Durch ene n der Mtte nstallerte Trennwand entstehen zwe Kaern. De EMV-Kabelverschraubung (der rüflng) wrd n der ohrung der Trennwand befestgt. Das n der Kabelverschraubung fxerte Kontaktelement wrd über enen koaxalen, axal verschebbaren Messfühler mt enem Hochfrequenz (HF)-Sgnal versorgt. Der HF-Strom, der durch das letende Metall des gesamten rüfaufbaus geführt wrd, erzeugt am frequenzabhänggen Wderstand des rüflngs (Transfermpedanz) enen Spannungsabfall. Deser Spannungsabfall wrd n koaxaler Kelvnanordnung gemessen und auf der usgangssete der uswerteenhet zugeführt. De Transfermpedanz lässt sch nach dem Ohmschen Gesetz RT = U/I berechnen. Je klener de gemessene Spannung, desto klener st de Transfermpedanz und umso besser st de Schrmwrkung des rüflngs. De nzege oder Messwertausgabe kann dann z.. als Schrmdämpfung n Dezbel (d) erfolgen. De Messvorrchtung KoKeT msst de Schrmdämpfung und Transfermpedanz von Glechstrom (DC) bs über.0 MHz. *De Schrmwrkung beschrebt de bschrmung vor elektrschen Enflüssen. The procedure measures the qualty of the screenng usng the voltage drop on the cable gland ndependently of the frequency. The KoKeT measurng procedure (Koaxal Kelvn Tube) allows measurements n accordance wth IEC to be made on screened cable glands up to sze M8. Ths measurng procedure has partcularly hgh repeatablty because no cable s present and therefore the screenng effect of the cable gland alone s measured. Das KoKeT -Messverfahren (Koaxal Kelvn Tube) erlaubt Messungen nach IEC von geschrmten Kabelverschraubungen bs zu ener Größe von M8. Frequenz [Mhz] Frequency [Mhz] Usng the test apparatus The measurng devce conssts of a closed housng made from a good conductve materal. centrally nstalled dvdng wall creates two chambers. The EMC cable gland (the test specmen) s fastened nto the hole n the dvdng wall. The contact fxed n the cable gland s suppled wth a hgh-frequency (HF) sgnal through a coaxal, axally movable measurng sensor. The HF current flowng through the conductng metal of the whole test apparatus creates a voltage drop across the frequency-ndependent resstance of the test specmen (transfer mpedance). Ths voltage drop s measured n a coaxal Kelvn arrangement and fed to the output sde of the evaluaton unt. The transfer mpedance can be calculated usng Ohm s Law RT= U/I. The rule s: a small measured voltage ndcates a small transfer mpedance and therefore a better sheldng effect of the test specmen. The dsplayed or measurement output can be expressed, for example, as the screenng attenuaton n decbels (d). The KoKeT measurng devce measures the screenng attenuaton and transfer mpedance of drect current (DC) to up to beyond,0 MHz. *The sheldng effect descrbes the screenng from electrcal nfluences. Functonal prncple When the pressure screw s tghtened, the sealng nsert presses onto two cones, between whch the annular spral sprng (UNI IRIS sprng) s located. Ths sprng-rng thus tapers n ts dameter and s pressed on the prevously strpped sheldng. The braded sheld s bonded along ts entre crcumference (360 ). (See techncal appendx for the assembly nstructons) low-resstance and low-mpedance connecton s made between the sheld, UNI IRIS sprng and gland body. Functonal prncple When the pressure screw s tghtened, the sealng nsert presses onto the two cones, between whch the annular UNI IRIS sprng s located. Ths sprng-rng thus tapers n ts dameter and s pressed on the prevously strpped sheldng. The braded sheld s bonded along ts entre crcumference (360 ). low-resstance and low-mpedance connecton s made between the sheld and gland.
