Funktionen 1.1 Bremse Ein / aus, in Standard-Einstellung aus. 1.2 Akku-Typ LiXX / NiXX, in Standard-Einstellung LiXX. 1.3 Unterspannungsschutz-Modus (Abschalt-Modus) Soft-Abschaltung (stufenweise Ausgangsstrom- Reduzierung) oder Abschaltung (sofortiger Stopp); Standard-Einstellung Soft-Abschaltung. 1.4 Unterspannungsschutz-Schwellenwert (Abschalt-Schwellenwert) Niedrig / mittel / hoch, Standard-Einstellung mittel. Functions Brake Setting 1.1 Enabled / disabled, default disabled. Battery Type 1.2 LiXX / NiXX, default is LiXX. Low Voltage Protection Mode 1.3 (Cut-off Mode) Soft cut-off (gradually reduce the output power) or cut-off (immediately stop the output power); default is soft cut-off. Low Voltage Protection 1.4 Threshold (Cut-off Threshold) Low / medium / high, default is medium. a) Bei Lithium-Akkus wird die Zellenzahl automatisch aus der Spannung errechnet. Niedrige / mittlere / hoche Abschalt-Spannung pro Zelle beträgt 2,85 / 3,15 / 3,3 V. Beispiel: Wird bei einem Litium-Pack mit drei Zellen der mittlere Abschalt-Schwellenwert gewählt, beträgt die Abschaltspannung 3,15 x 3 = 9,45 V. a) For lithium batteries, the number of battery cells is calculated automatically. Low / medium / high; cut-off voltage for each cell is 2,85 / 3,15 / 3,3 V. Example: For a 3 cells lithium pack, when medium cut-off threshold is set, the cut-off voltage will be 3,5 x 3 = 9,45 V. b) Bei Nickel-Akkus betragen die niedrige / mittlere / hohe Abschaltspannung 0 / 50 / 65 % der Anfangsspannung (z. B. die Initial- Spannung des Akkupacks); 0 % bedeutet, dass die Unterspannungs-Abschaltung aus ist. Beispiel: Bei einem vollgeladenen NiMH-Akkupack mit zehn Zellen beträgt die Spannung 1,44 x 10 = 14,4 V; ist der mittlere Abschalt-Schwellenwert eingestellt, beträgt die Abschalt-Spannung: 14,4 x 50 % = 7,2 V. b) For nickel batteries, low / medium / high cut-off voltages are 0 / 50 / 65 % of the start-up voltage (i.e. the initial voltage of battery pack); 0 % means the low voltage cut-off function is disabled. For example: For a 10 cells NiMH battery, fully charged voltage is 1,44 x 10 = 14,4 V; when medium cut-off threshold is set, the cut-off voltage will be 14,4 x 50 % = 7,2 V.

4 1.5 Start-Modus Normal / soft / supersoft (300 ms / 6 s / 12s), Standard-Einstellung normal. Der Normal-Modus eignet sich für Modellflugzeuge, soft und supersoft eher für Helikopter. Die Beschleunigung dauert für gewöhnlich im Soft-Modus 6 Sekunden, im Supersoft-Modus 12 Sekunden, bis die volle Drehzahl bei Vollgas-Stellung des Steuerknüppels erreicht ist. Wird der Steuerknüppel innerhalb von 3 Sekunden in Leerlauf-Stellung (Steuerknüppel hinten) und wieder in Vollgas-Stellung? (Steuerknüppel vorne) gebracht, ist vorübergehend der Normal-Modus zugeschaltet. Dies soll einem Crash durch eine zu kurze Ansprechzeit bis zur vollen Beschleunigung entgegenwirken (Kunstflug). Start-up Mode 1.5 Normal / soft / super-soft (300 ms / 6 s / 12s), default is normal. Normal is preferred for fixedwing aircraft. Soft or super-soft are preferred for helicopters. The initial acceleration of the soft and super-soft modes are slower in comparison, usually taking 6 seconds for soft start-up or 12 seconds for super-soft start-up from initial throttle advance to full throttle. If the throttle is closed (throttle stick moved to bottom) and opened again (throttle stick moved to top) within 3 seconds of the initial start-up, the restart-up will be temporarily changed to normal mode to get rid of the chances of a crash caused by slow throttle response. This is suitable for aerobatic flight when quick throttle response is needed. 1.6 Timing Niedrig / mittel / hoch (3,75 / 15 / 26,25 ), Standard-Einstellung niedrig. Die Voreinstellung passt für die meisten Motoren. Für eine höhere Geschwindigkeit kann das Timing erhöht werden. Anwendung Steuerknüppel in Leerlaufposition 2.1 bringen und Sender einschalten. Nach Verbinden des Akkus mit 2.2 dem Regler beginnt dieser eine Selbstkontrolle. Ertönt die Melodie 1 2 3, so ist die Spannung im normalen Bereich. Anschließend signalisiert eine Piepton-Folge die Anzahl der erkannten Lithium-Zellen. Bei erfolgreicher Selbstkontrolle ertönt ein langer Piepton der Flug des Modells kann beginnen. Vor dem Abschalten des Senders ist stets die Stromverbindung zum Regler zu trennen! 1.6 Timing Low / medium / high (3,75 / 15 / 26,25 ), default is low. 5 ? Alarmtöne Eingangsspannung abnormal: 3.1 Der Regler überprüft die Spannung nach Anschließen des Akkus. Wenn sich diese außerhalb des zulässigen Bereichs befindet, wird folgender Alarmton ausgegeben: piep-piep, piep-piep, piep-piep. Gassteuersignal abnormal: Wenn der 3.2 Regler kein normales Gassteuersignal erkennen kann, wird folgender Alarmton ausgegeben: piep, piep, piep. Gashebel steht nicht in der 3.3 Endposition: Wenn der Gashebel nicht in seiner Endposition steht, wird folgender Alarmton in sehr schneller Abfolge ausgegeben: piep, piep, piep. Schutz Fehlstart-Schutz: Sollte der Motor 4.1 nicht innerhalb von 2 Sekunden nach dem Gasgeben starten, unterbricht der Regler den Ausgangsstrom. In diesem Fall muss der Gashebel in Leerlaufposition gebracht werden, bevor erneut versucht werden kann den Motor zu starten. Überhitzungs-Schutz: Steigt die 4.2 Temperatur des Reglers auf über 110 C, wird der Ausgangsstrom begrenzt. Protection Start-up failure protection: If the 4.1 motor fails to start within 2 seconds of throttle application, the ESC will cut-off the output power. In this case, the throttle stick must be moved to the bottom again to restart the motor. 4.2 Over-heat protection: When the temperature of the ESC is over 110 C, it will reduce the output power.

6 4.3 Gassteuersignal-Verlust-Schutz: Sollte für 1 Sekunde kein Gassignal empfangen werden, wird der Ausgangsstrom begrenzt und ab 2 Sekunden komplett abgeschaltet. Programmierung Programmier-Modus aktivieren: 5.1 Sender einschalten, Gashebel in Vollgas-Position bringen, Regler-Akku anschließen. Nach 2 Sekunden sollte die Tonfolge piep-piep ausgegeben werden. Weitere 5 Sekunden warten; ertönt die Tonfolge , so ist der Programmier-Modus aktiv. Programmierbare Parameter: Nach 5.2 Aktivierung des Programmier-Modus werden acht Tonfolgen wiederholend ausgegeben. Zum Anwählen einer Option den Gashebel? innerhalb 3 Sekunden in Leerlaufstellung bringen. Throttle signal loss protection: The 4.3 ESC will reduce the output power if throttle signal is lost for 1 second, further loss for 2 seconds will cause its output to be cut-off completely. Programming Enter program mode: Switch on 5.1 transmitter, move throttle stick to top, connect the battery pack to ESC. Wait for 2 seconds, the motor should emit special tone like beep-beep. Wait for another 5 seconds; special tone like should be emitted, which means program mode is entered. Programmable Items: After entering 5.2 program mode, you will hear 8 tones in a loop with the following sequence. Auswahl erfolgt durch Vollgas-Stellung des Knüppels.
