Installation PedalBox D Allgemeine Hinweise Lesen Sie diese Einbauanleitung vor dem Einbau sorgfältig durch, damit Sie langfristig alle technischen Vorteile des Systems nutzen können. Nehmen Sie den Einbau nur vor, wenn Sie diese Einbaurichtlinien gelesen und verstanden haben. Die PedalBox wurde mit großer Sorgfalt entworfen und hergestellt und sollte auch mit Sorgfalt behandelt werden. Wenn Sie die unten aufgeführten Vorschläge beachten, verhindern Sie, dass die Garantie vorzeitig erlischt, und Sie werden noch über Jahre hinaus viel Freude an Ihrem Produkt haben. Installieren Sie das System keinesfalls bei eingeschalteter Zündung. Ziehen Sie den Zündschlüssel ab. Warten Sie nach Abschalten der Zündung 5 min., bis alle elektrischen Stromverbraucher abgeschaltet sind. Achten Sie darauf, dass der Kabelbaum nicht an beweglichen Teilen bzw. nicht an Metallteilen anliegt oder scheuert. Nehmen Sie keine Veränderungen (Verlängerung oder Verkürzung des Kabelbaums, etc.) am System vor. Sollten Funktionsstörungen aufgrund nicht befestigter Kabel oder eines nicht ordnungsgemäßen Einbaus auftreten, erlischt die Herstellergarantie.! Achtung: Das Kabel darf auf keinen Fall die Bewegung des Gaspedals beeinträchtigen! 4 Bitte beachten Sie unbedingt diese Hinweise. Zündung ausschalten. Warten Sie nach Abschalten der Zündung 5 min.
Installation PedalBox General instructions E Read this installation guide carefully before starting the installation so that you will be able to use all the technical advantages of the system and do not start with the installation before you have read and understood the instructions. Your PedalBox was designed and manufactured with great care and therefore should be also handled with care. If you comply with the advice given below you will avoid an early termination of the product guarantee and you will be enjoying your product for years to come. Never install the system if the ignition is on. Pull the ignition key. After switching off the ignition, wait for 5 minutes until all electric devices are turned off. Take care that the harness does not touch the parts in motion like the throttle pedal itself or any metal parts to avoid friction. Do not make any changes to the harness (do not make it any longer or shorter). In case of the malfunctioning of the system due to any non-compliance with the instructions during the installation of the PedalBox, the product guarantee will be terminated.! Note: Make sure that the harness does not affect the movement of the accelerator pedal! Please absolutely consider these references. Ignition switch off. Wait after switching the ignition off 5 min. 5
Installation PedalBox D Montage Lösen Sie die Verbindung am Gaspedal bzw. am Gaspedalsensor. Verbinden Sie die Stecker der PedalBox mit den beiden originalen Steckverbindungen. Befestigen Sie das Kabel mit den Klettverschluss-Kabelbindern.! Achtung: Das Kabel darf auf keinen Fall die Bewegung des Gaspedals beeinträchtigen! 6
Installation PedalBox Installation E Disconnect the accelerator or to the accelerator pedal sensor. Connect the plug of the pedal box to the two original connectors. Secure the cable with the Velcro cable ties.! Note: The harness may in no case affect the movement of the accelerator pedal! 7

Installation PedalBox D Funktionen PedalBox Funktionsanzeige LED LED leuchtet = korrekt angeschlossen LED blinkt = Funktion der PedalBox aktiv Um die Modulfunktion zu überprüfen, ist es notwendig, den Gehäusedeckel zu entfernen. Dieser ist mit vier 10er- Torx-Schrauben befestigt. 10

Fehlerbehebung Fehlerbeschreibung Die LED-Anzeige leuchtet nicht. Das Fahrzeug ruckelt oder hat Aussetzer. Fahrzeug springt sofort in die Notlauffunktion. Bei einigen Fahrzeugen leuchtet die Motorkontrolllampe. Fahrzeug springt bei hohen Drehzahlen in die Notlauffunktion. Fahrzeug zeigt keine Reaktion auf die PedalBox. Was ist zu tun Ist der Adapterstecker richtig eingerastet? Schalten Sie die Zündung ein/oder starten Sie den Motor. LED-Anzeige leuchtet immer noch nicht: System defekt. Ist der Adapterstecker richtig eingerastet? Wurde eine Veränderung der Programme vorgenommen (Gaspedalsignal Modifikation Steigerung / Minderung)? Ist der Adapterstecker richtig eingerastet? Wechseln Sie das Program auf 3-ECO Kontaktieren Sie den Support. Wechseln Sie das Program auf 3-ECO Wähle das Program SPORT+ D Wie versetze ich das Fahrzeug wieder in den Serienzustand? Schalten Sie die Zündung aus. Warten Sie, bis alle elektrischen Verbraucher abgeschaltet sind. Entfernen Sie die Pedalbox und verbinden Sie den Gaspedalsensor wieder mit dem original Stecker. 14
Trouble Shooting Error Descriptions The LED does not light up. The car doesn`t run smoothly. The engine is bucking. The emergency program runs immediately. The Malfunction Indication Light (MIL) flashes. The emergency program (fail-save) runs in higher rpm. Problem Solution Check all connected components, problem solved? Turn on ignition or start the car, problem solved? Non of the above: System defective, return for warranty. Check all connected components. Are the adapter plugs in the right position? Do the LED`s work properly (see PedalBox settings)? Have you changed the programm? Choose program 3- ECO. Contact the support. Choose program 3 ECO E The car shows no extra performance. How can I get back to the original state of the car? Choose program SPORT+ Turn the ignition off. Wait, until all electric power consumers are switched off. Disconnect the PedalBox and connect the original connectors to the throttle sensor. The car is now back in the series performance. 15
