Idiomatic German Note: For a piece of writing to have development, 100 words is a suggested minimum. Answer in ink. 6. Imagine you are stranded on a secluded island. Describe how you got there and how you will manage without conveniences. What will you miss and how will you return to civilization? For example: Ich war auf einem Flugzeug irgendwohin zu den Queen Charlotte Islands. Ich flug dorthin, weil ich einen Wettkampf gewinnen wollte zwei Wochen sollte ich ganz allein leben. Aber plötzlich passierte ein Unglück. Das Flugzeug machte einen schrecklichen Lärm und stürzte ins Meer. Ich weiß nicht, was dann war, aber ich bin an einem Strand, auf weißem Sand aufgewacht. Ich war nicht verletzt, aber ganz allein auf einer kleinen Insel. Zuerst musste ich Wasser finden und bald sah ich einen kleinen Bach mit frischem Wasser. In der Nähe war ein riesiger Baum; das wird mein Quartier werden, die Zweige werden mich schützen. Ich suchte etwas zu essen. Da waren viele Salalbeeren. Ich habe gehört, dass die Indianer sie gepflückt haben. Sie enthalten viel Vitamin C. Jetzt brauchte ich noch ein Feuer. Bei den Pfadfindern hatte ich gelernt, wie man mit zwei Holzstücken ein Feuer macht. Ich habe das Flugzeugunglück überlebt und den Wettkampf ganz vergessen. Jetzt hoffe ich nur, daß mich bald jemand auf dieser Insel finden wird.
