Installation Manual Installation please follow up this steps: 1. Install your robotic system from Primera. Please follow up the quickstart guide from Primera and install all software including PTPublisher, Surething and the printer driver. After this is done please test your robotic system and try to burn and print one CD. If it works you can continue with the installation of RoboPhoto. Otherwise try first to get your system working with the help of the KB, your dealer or the Primera support.. 2. Now you can continue with the installation of.> setup.exe Possible Errors: In some cases there are some issues with the Primera PTBurn that have to be fixed. After the installation you will have a file called c:\ptburnjobs\system\systemstatus.txt. You can open it by double clicking. If there is an error like: No robotically controlled drives found you will have to copy the drives.ini from \users \settings\ptpublisher to If it say: PTBurn Error then there was no robot found! Please check PTPublisher to ensure the robotic system is installed! After the first start RoboPhoto will create a directory called c:\data. In this directory you will find the file called RoboPhoto.std. This is the label file that you can change for your needs. Fill in your logo etc. In some cases you will need to make your own RoboPhoto2.std. There is a known bug in the translation of Surething. If it will not print the first photo, or some text you need to do the following steps. Surething Mergefile / RoboPhoto2.std Create a file called merge.csv and copy the following content into it: "IMAG0148.jpg";"C:\Data\2\IMAG0148.jpg";"C:\Data\2";"2";"29.08.2010";" ";" ";" "; Open a new SureThing design. Insert 8 merge fields in the SureThing design. Both text and pictures can be merged. For each type, follow these steps in SureThing -a. Merge Text: Tools/Insert Field, Merge Fields tab, Field One, Two Merge Photo: Tools/Object Tools/Picture Tool, enable the Merge' checkbox, Field One, Two. 2. Associate the merge.csv file with the SureThing design to do this, click Tools/Set Merge File and browse to the newly created MyMergeFile.txt. Save the new SureThing design file as RoboPhoto2.std 1. Now, this newly created SureThing design file can be specified in PTBurn and the values specified with MergeField will be inserted into the image at print time. Now delete the merge.csv Additional notes: The merge text file is only required at design time; during run-time it is no longer required. If the original merge file is not found at print time, then a new file will be created in the same folder as the SureThing design file. However, if the original merge text file is found, then the values in it are populated with values from the JRQ MergeField values (and any unused fields in the merge file will be removed). 3/9
Konfiguration Configuration The default pathes are already set. Only if you didn't install the program as the default, you will have to change some settings. PTPurn path is the path to the roboter control service.it is usually installed in c:\ptburnjobs. Label path: This is the path to your label template. If you installed it as default the path is: c:\data \RoboPhoto.std You can edit this file with surething easily and add your logo or other things. Print template You find our standard print template in the folder: c:\data\robophoto.std 4/9
With a double click on this file, you can easily edit it. You can delete or edit anything you want to. We would only encourage you not to delete DiscMergeField1 and DiscMergeField2. This two fields are necessary for printing a preview picture and the name of this picture or folder. This makes it easier for you to identify the CD Autorun HTML Within this version we included a feature that will generate a unique HTML startpage on every CD! For demonstration purpose we included a simple HTML template. This template is located in the programs subfolder \template. If you don't know anything about HTML just fill in some values you like: 5/9
After you changed a value, you will see it immediately after leaving the field. To use this values, you need to save them before leaving. The pictures are only demo pictures! On the CD the program will look on every folder you burn and list up to the number of pictures you define and put the CD's pictures into this gallery! Professional HTML User: As we mentioned before - you can use your own template. Just exchange the folder in the menu bar and save the settings. By doing this you will have the opportunity to make a unique design. In the preview, only a index.html and services.html will be changed for the preview, but on the CD we will change every html file that the program finds in the root folder! So you can use more than just two files. Variable name Explanation ##GALLERY## Picture gallery. At this place the programm will place the "<li>" code for the gallery. It will be copied into the templates folder. In the mainscreen of robophoto you have the variables JOBVAR1, JOBVAR2, JOBVAR3, that are printed on each CD. You can even take that variable values for the HTML Pages. If you don't need the - just don't put them into your html template. Tools Tools Delete all jobs: All Jobs that are in cue will be deleted and abortet. Check Discs in robot: Find out how many discs are left in your input and outpubt bin. Create Error report: Our tool will create an error report in c:\ptburnjobs\reports, so that you can send it to our software@karley.de if you have problems with your robotic system. Primera or Karley can analyse it and give you advices how to fix. Service Stop and Service Start: Don't use that if you are not adviced to. If the service is stoped no CD can be produced. Work with RoboPhoto Das Arbeiten mit Robohoto Um verteilte Bilder zu ermöglichen gehen Sie wie folgt vor. In Ihrer Photobearbeitungssoftware Erstellen Sie eine Verzeichnisstruktur irgendwo auf Ihrer Festplatte. Erstellen Sie einen Oberordner z.b. Meine_Schule1 Unter diesen Ordner erstellen Sie unterordner z.b. \01, 02, etc. und gruppieren die Photos in den Ordnern. Sie haben dann eine Strukturl zum Beispiel: d:\meineschule_1\01 d:\meineschule_1\02 d:\meineschule_1\03 d:\meineschule_1\04 In all diesen Ordner sind beliebig viele JPG Images die Sie gemacht haben. Dieses Verzeichnis wählen Sie dann als Arbeitspfad aus. 7/9
Hier im Beispiel haben wir c:\data ausgewählt. Nach dem klick auf OK erzeugt unser Programm eine Joblist. Es gibt noch eine weitere Möglichkeit einen gemeinsamen Ordner oder Webeordner zu erzeugen. Nehmen wir einmal an Sie haben Gruppenphotos, die jeder bekommen soll - neben den individuellen Photos! Dann legen Sie z.b. einen Ordner d:\gemeinsam an und wählen diese als "Werbeinfo-Ordner" aus. In diesen Ordner können Sie auch Unterordner erstellen. Beachten Sie das jeweils die Dateiein in diesem Ordner auch in das Hauptverzeichnis der CD kopiert werden. Wenn Sie also z.b. Gruppenphotos als Unterordner angeben möchten und Ihre Werbung für Ihre Dienste dann könnten Sie das wie folgt machen: d:\gemeinsame\meine Werbung d:\gemeinsame\gruppenphotos Sie können mit dieser Funktion auch eine Autorun CD erzeugen in dem Sie in d:\gemeinsame\ die entsprechenden Autorin.inf und eine cdrun.exe abspeichern. 8/9
Sobald Sie nun alle Optionen erzeugt haben klicken Sie einfach nur noch auf GO. Nun werden die Jobs gestartet. Sobald ein Job erledigt ist, wird das mit einem Haken angezeigt.
