Mario started his professional career in management consulting, working with McKinsey & Company in Italy where he led the Insurance Practice as Partner of the firm up to 1994. In 1995, he joined Ras (Allianz Group) where he was Managing Director and Group CEO from 1998 to 2005. In 2005 he joined the Sanpaolo IMI Group as the CEO of Eurizon Financial Group, the company holding the Sanpaolo IMI Group s investments in EurizonVita, Banca Fideuram, and Eurizon Capital. Mario is a member of the Group Executive Committee and CEO of Global Life. Mario Greco (d) Mario Greco (50, Italienischer Staatsangehöriger), kam im Oktober 2007 zu Zurich und verfügt über eine breite Erfahrung in der Versicherungsindustrie. Seite 2 Kevin Hogan (e) Kevin Hogan (47, U.S. citizen) joined Zurich in 2008 from AIG, where he had an impressive 24-year track record. Starting as a casualty underwriter in New York, Kevin moved to Tokyo, then onto Hong Kong and Singapore. He also held senior executive roles in the areas of Accident & Health and Life insurance in New York, Beijing and Taiwan. As Global Life CEO for The Americas, Kevin leads our Life insurance business for North and South America with accountability for Farmers Life, KILICO, and our Latin America Life Operations. Hopkins (53, U.S. citizen) joined Farmers in 1978 as an agent and subsequently became a Farmers employee, where he held positions of increasing responsibility in the sales and marketing area. He has also held a variety of executive positions and in 2004 he became President of Farmers Group, Inc. and its CEO in 2005. As of January 1, 2009 he was appointed CEO Americas and Chairman of the Board of Farmers Group, Inc. He is a member of the Group Executive Committee. Paul N. Hopkins (d) Paul N. Hopkins (53, Amerikanischer Staatsbürger) kam 1978 als Agent zu Farmers und wurde später Mitarbeiter von Farmers, wo er im Bereich Sales und Marketing zunehmend Verantwortung übernahm. Er bekleidete verschiedene Führungspositionen bevor er 2004 zum Präsidenten von Farmers Group, Inc. und 2005 deren CEO ernannt wurde. Paul Hopkins wurde per 1. Januar 2009 zum CEO Americas und Verwaltungsratspräsidenten von Farmers Group, Inc. berufen. Er ist Mitglied des Group Executive Committee.
Seite 4 Geoff Riddell (e) Geoffrey (Geoff) Riddell (54, British citizen) joined Zurich in 2002 as managing director of Zurich Commercial in the UK. Geoff started his career with Price Waterhouse in 1978 and four years later moved to AIG, where he held various roles, including country manager for Hong Kong, Belgium and France. While in Hong Kong, he was responsible for setting up the first foreign general insurance company in China. He has held a number of senior positions in Zurich, including CEO of General Insurance in the UK, Ireland and Southern Africa and CEO, Global Corporate. Effective January 1, 2009 he became CEO of Asia-Pacific & Middle East (APME), responsible for both Life and General Insurance in the APME region, and serves as Chairman of Global Corporate. He is a member of the Group Executive Committee. Geoff Riddell (d) Geoffrey (Geoff) Riddell (54, Britischer Staatsbürger) kam 2002 als Managing Director von Zurich Commercial in Grossbritannien zu Zurich. Er begann seine Laufbahn 1978 bei Price Waterhouse und wechselte vier Jahre später zu AIG, wo er in verschiedenen Positionen tätig war, unter anderem als Country Manager für Hongkong, Belgien und Frankreich. In Hong Kong war er verantwortlich für den Aufbau der ersten ausländischen Schadenversicherungs-Gesellschaft in China. Bei Zurich hatte Geoff Riddell verschiedene Führungspositionen inne, unter anderem war er CEO von General Insurance in Grossbritannien, Irland und Süd-Afrika und CEO Global Corporate. Am 1. Januar 2009 wurde er CEO Asien/Pazifik und Naher Osten (APME) mit Verantwortung für das Lebens- und Schadensversicherungsgeschäft in dieser Region. Er ist Präsident von Global Corporate und Mitglied des Group Executive Committee.
Seite 5 Kristof Terryn (e) Kristof Terryn (42, Belgian citizen) joined Zurich in 2004 from McKinsey. He has served in a variety of leadership positions including Chief Operating Officer (COO), Global Corporate and Group Head of Planning and Performance Management. In 2009 he was appointed to create the role of Chief Operating Officer for General Insurance (GI) to manage GI's operational performance and transformation as well as the IT strategy and budget. Kristof Terryn (d) Kristof Terryn (42, Belgischer Staatsbürger) kam 2004 von McKinsey zu Zurich. Er hatte seitdem bei Zurich eine Reihe von Führungspositionen inne unter anderem war er Chief Operating Officer Global Corporate und Group Head of Planning and Performance Management. 2009 wurde er in die Funktion des Chief Operating Officer General Insurance berufen, um die betriebliche Performance und Transformation des Schadensversicherungsgeschäfts voranzutreiben sowie das Budget und die IT-Strategie zu managen.
Seite 6 Dieter Wemmer (e) Dieter Wemmer (53, German citizen) joined Zurich Re in 1986, at that time a German reinsurance subsidiary of Zurich's German operation Agrippina, as pricing actuary for life reinsurance. He became Head of Life Reinsurance and Chief Actuary five years later. He held various positions with Agrippina, before transferring to Corporate Center in Zurich as project manager for the implementation of International Accounting Standards (IAS) and US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (US GAAP). He has since served in a variety of leadership positions, including Head of Financial Controlling and Head of Mergers and Acquisitions. He joined the Group Executive Committee in November 2004 as CEO Europe General Insurance. In March 2007 he assumed his current role as Chief Financial Officer. Dieter Wemmer (d) Dieter Wemmer (53, Deutscher Staatsbürger) kam 1986 zur als Aktuar im Lebensrückversicherungsbereich zur Zurich Re, einer damaligen Rückversicherungs-Tochtergesellschaft der Zürich-Gesellschaft Agrippina. Fünf Jahre später wurde er Head of Life Reinsurance und Chief Actuary. Bevor er als Projektmanager für die Einführung der International Accounting Standards (IAS) und der US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (US GAAP) ans Corporate Center in Zürich wechselte, hatte er verschiedene Führungspositionen bei Agrippina inne. Seitdem er am Corporate Center von Zurich tätig ist bekleidete er eine ganze Reihe von Top-Management- Funktionen, unter anderem amtete er als Head of Financial Controlling und Head of Mergers and Acquisitions. Dieter Wemmer nahm im November 2004 als CEO Europe General Insurance Einsitz im Group Executive Committee. Seine gegenwärtige Funktion als Chief Financial Officer übernahm er im März 2007.
