INTRODUCTION Thank you for deciding to purchase the Folding Seat Cane from Aidapt. The Folding Seat Cane is manufactured from the finest materials and components available, when used correctly it is designed to give many years of reliable trouble-free service. Please Note: Always consult with your prescriber/physiotherapist if you are in any doubt that this product is suitable for your use. NB. The suitability of this equipment should be assessed by a competent person before use. 100 kg (16 stone) weight limit. Do not exceed the weight limit stated doing so could put the user at risk. BEFORE USE Carefully remove all packaging. Avoid using any knives of other sharp instruments as this may damage the surface of the product. Check the product for any visible damage If you see any damage or suspect a fault, do not use your product, but contact your supplier for support. FOLDING & UNFOLDING THE SEAT CANE Unfold the Folding Seat Cane by gripping the bottom of the seat and pulling it out away from the handle as far as it will go, until the seat is parallel with the floor. To fold the Seat to use the product as a walking aid or for storage, push the front of the seat towards the pole below the handle, ensuring that the clasp fitted to the rear of the seat clicks into place around the pole. NB. Do not attempt to use the product as a walking aid while the seat is unfolded. INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE If seated with the handle behind you, do not put your weight back against the handle as this may cause the seat to tip. Some users may find the seat more stable if seated with the handle to the front. NB. This item is not a toy: do not allow children to use or climb on the Folding Seat Cane. CLEANING Clean your Folding Seat Cane using a non-abrasive cleaner or mild detergent with a soft cloth. Abrasive cleaners e.g. AJAX and or abrasive cleaning pads will seriously damage your product beyond repair. Always ensure that you wipe dry the equipment after cleaning. REISSUE If you reissue or are about to reissue this product, please thoroughly check all components for their safety. This includes: Bent or damaged tubes or cracks at the tube joints. Elongated adjustment holes. Loose or worn fasteners Smooth, worn or split ferrules (rubber tips). Replace all worn, missing or damaged parts where necessary. If in any doubt, please do not issue or use, but immediately contact your supplier for service support. CARE & MAINTENANCE Please make a safety check of the product at regular intervals or if you have any concerns. INTRODUCTION Nous vous remercions d'avoir acheté la canne/siège pliable Aidapt. Ce produit est fabriqué avec les meilleurs matériaux et composants disponibles. Si vous l'utilisez correctement, ce produit vous rendra service pendant de nombreuses années. Veuillez noter : Consultez toujours votre prescripteur/physiothérapeute si vous avez un doute concernant la pertinence du produit pour votre utilisation. NB: L'adéquation de ce matériel doit être évaluée par une personne compétente avant utilisation. Poids limite 100kg Ne dépassez pas le poids limité indiqué-cela ferait prendre des risques inutiles à l'utilisateur. AVANT UTILISATION Déballez soigneusement le produit. Evitez l'utilisation de couteaux ou autres outils tranchants car cela pourrait endommager la surface du produit. Si vous constatez que le produit est endommagé ou comporte un défaut, ne l'utilisez pas et contactez votre revendeur. PLIER & DEPLIER LA CANNE/SIEGE Déplier la canne/siège en attrapant le bas du siège et en tirant jusqu'à la butée, jusqu'à ce que le siège soit parallèle au sol. Pour plier le siège afin de l'utiliser comme canne d'aide à la marche ou pour le ranger, poussez l'avant du siège vers l'axe central de la canne, dans la continuité de la poignée en vous assurant que le fermoir monté à l'arrière des cliquets de sécurité se place bien autour de l'axe central. NB: N'essayez pas d'utiliser le produit comme canne d'aide à la marche quand le siège est déplié. CONSEILS D'UTILISATION Quand vous êtes assis sur le siège avec la poignée dans le dos, ne mettez pas tout votre poids sur la poignée car cela pourrait faire basculer le siège et par conséquent vous faire tomber. Certains utilisateurs trouvent que le siège est plus stable quand la poignée est placée devant. NB : Ce produit n'est pas un jouet : ne laissez pas les enfants l'utiliser ni grimper dessus. NETTOYAGE Nettoyez votre canne/siège avec un produit de nettoyage non abrasif ou un détergent doux et un chiffon doux. Les détergents abrasifs comme Ajax par exemple et les éponges à grattoir abrasif abîmeraient sérieusement votre produit. Essuyez bien votre canne/siège. REUTILISATION Si vous n'avez pas utilisé ce produit pendant longtemps, vérifiez toujours qu'il est en bon état avant de le réutiliser. En cas de doute, ne l'utilisez pas. SOIN & ENTRETIEN Vérifiez régulièrement l'état de votre canne/siège et entretenez-le correctement. EINFÜHRUNG Vielen Dank für Ihren Erwerb dieses zusammenklappbaren Hockers mit Gehstock von Aidapt. Dieses Produkt wurde aus den besten verfügbaren Materialien angefertigt. Es wurde entwickelt, um bei richtiger Anwendung viele Jahre zuverlässig und störungsfrei zu funktionieren. AUS- & ZUSAMMENKLAPPEN DES HOCKERS MIT GEHSTOCK Klappen Sie diesen Hocker mit Gehstock aus, indem Sie die Unterseite des Sitzes ergreifen und diese vom Handgriff weg so weit wie möglich nach außen ziehen, bis der Sitz parallel zum Boden ausgerichtet ist. Um den Sitz zusammen zu klappen und um das Produkt als Gehhilfe zu verwenden oder zu verstauen, drücken Sie die Vorderseite des Sitzes hin zur Stange unterhalb des Handgriffs. Stellen Sie dabei sicher, dass der Klick-Verschluss, der auf der Rückseite des Sitzes angebracht ist, sich sicher um die Stange herum fest schließt. GEBRAUCH Wenn Sie auf dem Hocker sitzen und sich der Handgriff hinter Ihnen befindet, lehnen Sie sich nicht zurück gegen den Handgriff, da dies das Gerät zum Umfallen bringen könnte. Manche Benutzer/innen finden, dass sich der Hocker stabiler anfühlt, wenn man beim Sitzen den Handgriff auf der Vorderseite positioniert. Achtung: Dieses Produkt ist kein Spielzeug! Erlauben Sie Kindern nicht, es zu benutzen oder damit zu spielen. REINIGUNG Reinigen Sie dieses Produkt nur mit einem einem milden Waschmittel und mit einem weichen Tuch; benutzen Sie keinesfalls einen scheuernden Reiniger, wie z.b. AJAX, oder scheuernde Schwämme, da diese das Produkt irreparabel beschädigen könnten. Nach der Reinigung stets trocken wischen.
