Masken Langsam, Erich, langsam, du bist noch genau so ungeduldig wie vor fünfzehn Jahren. Nein, verheiratet bin ich nicht, die Arbeit, weißt du. Wenn man es zu etwas bringen will, weißt du, da hat man eben keine Zeit für Männer. Und was ist das für Arbeit, die dich von den Männern fernhält? Er lachte sie an, sie aber sah aus dem Fenster auf die Tauben. Ich bin jetzt Leiterin eines Textilversandhauses hier in Köln, du kannst dir denken, daß man da von morgens bis abends zu tun hat und... Donnerwetter! rief er und klopfte mehrmals mit der flachen Hand auf den Tisch. Donnerwetter! Ich gratuliere. Ach, sagte sie und sah ihn an. Sie war rot geworden. Du hast es ja weit gebracht. Donnerwetter, alle Achtung. Und jetzt? Fährst du in Urlaub? Ja, vier Wochen nach Holland. Ich habe es nötig, bin ganz durchgedreht. Und du, Erich, was machst du? Erzähle. Du siehst gesund aus. Schade, dachte er, wenn sie nicht so eine Bombenstellung hätte, ich würde sie jetzt fragen, ob sie mich noch haben will. Aber so? Nein, das geht nicht, sie würde mich auslachen, wie damals. In your answer you will be assessed on how well you: demonstrate an understanding of the prescribed text write in German for a specific context Question 2 (10 marks) Read the extract from the short story, Hunne im Abendland, then answer the question that follows. Write approximately 200 words in GERMAN. Hunne im Abendland Eines schönen Tages wurde er eingeladen. Er zog sein Nylonhemd mit dem Haifischkragen an. Der Windsor-Knoten wurde sorgfältig fertiggemacht. Er trank keinen Weinbrand, sondern wollte einen Scotch haben, er antwortete auf die Frage der Hausfrau, daß Bartók und Strawinsky ganz nett seien, aber die Musik des Jahrhunderts fange doch mit Elvis Presley an. Er äußerte die Ansicht, daß drei Stunden in einem unbequemen Sessel nichts für den rasenden Menschen des XX. Jahrhunderts seien, der die Kunst nur zum Entspannen brauche, und beim Abschied küßte er die Hand der Damen nicht, da er ein Demokrat geworden war. Am nächsten Tag schreibt der Hunne in sein Tagebuch. Er beschreibt seine Erlebnisse während der Party und seine Gefühle hinterher. Schreiben Sie seinen Tagebucheintrag!
