1 EHRPOLIGE STECKVERBINDER CLK CN i Serie CLK Allgemeine Eigenschaften Adapter CLK 0 SC Die neuen Adapter CLK 0 SC ermöglichen den Einsatz von bis zu LWL SC-Kontakten je Steckverbinder. it entsprechenden ILE- Gehäusen der Größe 21.21: Serie CKA/KA (etallgehäuse mit Schutzart IP66/IP67, Version C-Type grau-pulverbeschichtet für Standard-Umgebungsbedingungen, Version W-Type schwarz-pulverbeschichtet für aggressive Umgebungsbedingungen, Dichtung in Tüllengehäusen), Serie CGK/GK (etallgehäuse mit Schutzart IP66/IP68, wahlweise mit metrischen- oder PGKabeleingang) und Serie CK/K (Kunststoffgehäuse mit Schutzart IP66/IP67, Dichtung in Tüllengehäusen). Die LWL SC-Kontakte (bitte separat bestellen, Artikelnummer der Buchsenkontakte gleich der der Stiftkontakte) sind für ultimodefaser (50/125μm oder 65,2/125μm) und Singlemodefaser (9/125μm) erhältlich. Die LWL SC-Kontakte sind außerdem für Hard-Clad Silica (HCS) oder Polymer-Clad Silica (PCS) aser (200/230μm) und im all von Kurzstreckenübertragung für Ø 1mm Polymere optische aser (PO) in Crimp-Anschluss erhältlich (benötigt spezielles Crimpwerkzeug). HINWEIS Durch den erforderlichen hohen Ausbildungs- und Erfahrungsgrad zum fachgerechten Crimp-Anschluss einer LWL Singlemodefaser, im Vergleich zu einer ultimodefaser, sind diese SC-Kontakte nur auf Anfrage verfügbar (bitte nehmen Sie Kontakt zu uns auf). In einem solchen all ist es praktikabler, ein vorkonfektioniertes LWL Patchkabel in den Adapter CLK 0 SC einzusetzen. Schnellanschlusstechnik (werkzeuglos) für Ø 1mm Polymere optische aser (PO) ist ebenfalls auf Anfrage verfügbar (bitte nehmen Sie Kontakt zu uns auf). Die Buchsen-Adapter werden mit Keramikhu lsen (Zirkonia) für minimalen Einschubverlust (z.b. bei sensiblen Netzwerkverbindungen) und beste Tauglichkeit für Singlemode LWL Leitungsverbindung ausgeliefert. Als optionales Zubehör sind etallhu lsen (Phosphor-Bronze) für beständigere Anwendungen mit geringeren Anforderungen an eine präzise Ausrichtung erhältlich (geeignet für die meisten ultimode Anwendungen). 6 i TECHNICAL EATURES CL DD / CL DD ibre optic cables provide data transmission not subject to electromagnetic interference, contrary to copper-based (electric) data transmission. The new fibre optic contacts CL series (CL DD and CL DD) can be used in combination with PO (polymer optical fibre) Ø 1,0 mm (core) / 2,2 mm (sheath) in ILE range of heavy duty multipole connectors, offering the following features: - inherent immunity to EI (electromagnetic interference); - perfect electrical insulation; - lightweight; - high transmission capacity and high bandwidth; - high data security; - IP66/IP67 recommended to minimize impairing effect of dust contamination; - male and female contacts CL series for PO Ø 1,0 mm (core) / 2,2 mm (sheath), with same geometry of crimp contacts CD series for conventional copper conductors; - usable in connector inserts with contact cavities geometry of CDD series, including some modules of IXO series and some inserts of CQ series, according to Table 1. Not for use in CD inserts series 1) ; - use of alignment/coding pins on connectors/ connector modules is mandatory for fibre optic applications, in order to avoid damages to contacts and in order to minimize the natural attenuation of light signal which is mainly due to inaccuracy of the mating surfaces of the PO (polishing and perfect cleanliness of the two mating fibres) and to axial misalignment; - PO to be stripped, crimped, cut and polished according to instructions on pages besides. - for size insert combinations use JCHI 32 L/LP (page 120 catalogue XDG JEI 15) or a special version with stainless steel rigid lever available upon request. - for the installation of fibre optic, it is recommended to use only bulkhead mounting housings and corresponding hoods with vertical cable outlet. INAL OUNTING INSTRUCTIONS Put inside the CD/CDD/CX insert. - Select position no. 1 on the turret (for male contact) and no. 2 (for female contact), push and turn of 90 the knob of the turret. - Adjust the crimping depth on 1,5 (unscrew the allen screw, after adjusting refix the screw). - Insert the contact together with the fibre optic cable as far as possible into the crimping opening of the crimping tool (CLPZ R, refer to ig. 5) while applying gentle pressure to the fibre optic connector, close the tool until you hear it disengages.
