4 Media TFT flex Multimedia display system for lifts and buildings Media TFT flex multimedia display system Media TFT flex is a modern, flexible system for multimedia presentation of process and multimedia data on displays. Centrepieces of the product are high-performance, energy-saving multicore processors like the ones that can be found in smartphones / tablets. As these processors do not require an active cooling, the housing dimensions of Media TFT flex are very compact and thus perfectly suited for use in lift installations respectively in buildings. Displays in sizes from 10.4 up to 21.5 inches can be placed inside and outside the lift car: Media TFT flex either serves as a simple indicator or when equipped with touch function as landing fixture, car fixture or as an interactive Lift Information System. The configuration of Media TFT flex is entirely web-based and is done via the browser of a smartphone, tablet or PC. Setup is done in a socalled WYSIWYG editor (What You See Is What You Get), i. e. already during configuration in the browser the future presentation is visible. For making this possible, a web server which displays the configuration pages as web pages is integrated in Media TFT flex. The configuration of the display can be done on site or via internet. The functions of Media TFT flex are configured be means of Widgets, little programmes with a special function. As such, some Widgets provide additional functions for control of background applications and others serve for direct output of specific information on the display. For some Widgets, additional sensors are required which for example provide a special measured value and for other Widgets internet connection is obligatory. The appearance of the Widgets can be adapted individually. Most Widgets can also be time-driven or event-driven.
