2 I \A/ I S Tel: Fax: M I Belt model selection Nachdem Sie ihrer Anwendung entsprechend das Mattenkettenmaterial ausgewählt haben, müssen Sie passend zu Ihrem Fördergut, der Fördersystemlänge, den Anwendungsbedingungen, den Produktübergabestellen und den Anorderungen an die Reinigung des Systems den Mattenkettentyp auswählen. Desweiteren müssen Sie die von der Mattenkette ertragbaren Belastungen kontrollieren. Wie Sie die herrschenden Belastungen in einem Fördersystem ermitteln können, inden Sie in unserem separat erhältlichen FLEXON Technisches Handbuch". Die olgende Tabelle zeigt die verügbaren Mattenkettenserien mit den zulässigen Belastungen und Massen. Sie soll Ihnen helen, zusammen mit den Berechnungen, die richtige Mattenkette auszuwählen. Nacholgend inden Sie einige Anwendungsempehlungen ür unsere verschiedenen Mattenkettenserien: Type FT (Geschlossen) Wird in allen Anwendung verwendet, wenn eine geschlossene Oberläche geordert ist. Teilung: Die Teilung hat großen Einuss au die Auswahl der richtigen Matten kette, da mit größer werdender Teilung der Spalt zwischen zwei Fördersystemen zunimmt. Zudem ist bei größeren Teilungen der Polygoneekt stärker ausgeprägt. Dieser ist charakterisiert durch die Wegdierenz zwischen den au dem Teilkreis lauenden Gelenken und den au einem kleineren Durchmesser lauenden Bereichen der Mattenkette. Listed below are a series o recommendations or the applications or each type o belt depending on the pitch and belt type: Type FT (Flat Top) Used or all applications and due to the closed top with no gaps is ideal or transporting loose items as well as sealed packaged items: Used in Food, automotive, chemical, cosmetics, pharmaceutical, bottling and canning, etc Type PR (Perorated) Ideal or drainage o water or liquids with a similar viscosity, used in Food, preserves, washing and drying processes, etc. Type FG (Flush Grid) Large open area ideal or the transportation o powders, sand, sugar, salt and other granules o similar size and concentration. Ideal or handling oodstus such as vegetables, salads, etc in washing and drying processes. Type RR (Raised Rib) Ideal or the accumulation o boxes or parts at the start o packaging lines. Also can be used or depallitising, bakery tins, pharmaceutical, bottling and canning Type EL (Elevator) Used or incline conveyor sections used in most industrial applications: ood, packaging, automotive, bottling and canning, etc Side lexing bet belongs to the open group o chains, and all type o applications are allowed or this orm o belt. Pitch Selection: The pitch o the belt has to be taken into account during selection as the distance between two conveyors on end to end transers will be cor respondingly larger as pitch increases. As modules engage their driving sprockets Chordal Action takes place and this can oten lead to a pulsation eect. This is more noticeable on large pitch belts which try to negotiate small diameter sprockets and the polygon eect then comes into the equation, this is the characteristic o the distance in travel between the natural pitch circle diameter o the sprocket or nosebar and the actual route which the surace o the lat belt is inding. Unsere Empehlungen bezüglich der Mattenkettenteilung: Teilung 38,1 mm: Ist die am häuigsten verwendete Teilung in der Getränkeindustrie, was zugleich die Hauptanwendung darstellt. Teilung 25,4 mm: Für alle Industrieanwendungen deren Fördergüter eine schmalere rontale Produktübergabestelle benötigen. Teilung 12,7 mm: Für Anwendungen mit kleinen Fördergütern und kleinsten Übergabestellen. Um eine Mattenkette zu montieren, schieben Sie den Bolzen in das Gelenk und drücken Sie einen erschluß-clip in die Aunahmeönung. Die Bolzenlänge sollte so gewählt werden, dass der Bolzen in der Mettenkette au jeder Seite 2 mm Spiel hat. Disassembly is quick and easy: Place a screwdriver into the end o the belt link pin hole and lever the connecting clip downwards until it is removed rom the link. In order to assemble simply insert a new pin through the eyes o the pin assembly ensuring the correct pin length has a 2 mm gap between the inner ace o the link. The security closure clip is then simply snapped into place.
