4 PULVERBESCHICHTUNGSANLAGEN FÜR HOLZWERKSTOFFE POWDER COATING LINES FOR WOOD BASED PANELS Die Übertragung der modernen Pulverbeschichtungstechnologie von Metall auf Holzwerkstoffe ist eine vielversprechende Technologie und aktueller denn je. Vits baut die Anlagen dafür. Um unsere Powtec Pulverbeschichtungsanlage für Holzwerkstoffträger zu konzipieren, musste den verschiedenen Pulverqualitäten sowie den Ofen- und Applikationssystemen Rechnung getragen werden. Die Werkstücke hängen an Haken, die gleichzeitig den elektrischen Kontakt herstellen. 2 VORBEHANDLUNG Um die Oberflächen der Werkstücke staub- und fettfrei zu halten, werden diese von beiden Seiten kurz beflammt. 3 1 TRANSPORT SYSTEM 2 PRE-TREATMENT 3 POWDER CABIN 4 PRE-GELLING 5 CIRCULATION AIR OVEN 6 CYCLONE 7 AIR FILTER 3 PULVERKABINE Die elektrostatische Applikation des Lackpulvers erfolgt über Koronapistolen, die Schichtdicken in engen Toleranzbereichen auftragen können. 4 VORGELIERUNG Dem Umluftofen ist eine Infrarotzone vorgeschaltet, in der das Pulver bei geringer Temperatur angeliert wird UMLUFTOFEN Die Temperatur im Ofen muss sehr konstant gehalten werden, damit Flächen und Kanten gleichmäßig aushärten. Vits blickt auf 40 Jahre Erfahrung im Bau von Öfen und Trocknern in der Papier-, Holz, und Metallindustrie zurück. 1 6 ZYKLONABSCHEIDER Die in der Pulverkabine abgesaugte Luft wird in den Zyklonabscheider geführt. Das durch die Zentrifugalkraft nach unten sinkende Pulver wird erneut den Sprühpistolen zugeleitet. 7 LUFTFILTER Der dem Zyklonabscheider nachgeschaltete Luftfilter reinigt die Luft vom restlichen Pulver (ca. 2 5 %) und leitet die Luft in die Umwelt. 1 TRANSPORT SYSTEM The transport of the panels is carried out by an overhead rail system. Work pieces are suspended from hooks, which also earths them for coating. 2 PRE-TREATMENT Both sides of each work piece is quickly flamed off to remove any dust or grease from the surface. 3 POWDER CABIN The static application of the lacquer powder is carried out by corona guns, which are able to apply the coating across a wide range of thicknesses within a small tolerance. 4 PRE-GELLING Using a short IR heater, the powder is melted at low temperature before the work piece is transported into the circulating air oven. 5 CIRCULATION AIR OVEN The temperature within the oven must be kept constant so that the surfaces and edges harden absolutely evenly. Here, Vits can draw on over 40 years of experience in the design of process of ovens and dryers in the paper, wood and metal industry. 6 CYCLONE The extracted air from the powder cabin is led to the cyclone where the heavier powder is recovered by centrifugal force and led back to the spray gun again. 7 AIR FILTER The air filter is downstream the cyclone and cleans the air from any residue powder (approx. 2 5 %) before leading the air into the environment.
