5 Instruction Manual Multidoser Safety Precaution Sheet To be read carefully before use 1. The operator should be fully aware of the use of the apparatus according to the Instruction Manual. 2. The apparatus must be placed in an adequate working position. 3. Make sure that the water connections are leak proof. 4. Disconnect the power to Multidoser when changing tubes. 5. The main water supply should be turned off if you leave the apparatus unattended. 6. If you observe malfunctions or hear unusual noises - stop the apparatus and call technical service. The equipment should only be used for its intended purpose and as detailed in the Instruction Manual. The equipment is designed for use with consumables supplied by Struers. If subjected to misuse, improper installation, alteration, neglect, accident or improper repair, Struers will accept no responsibility for damage(s) to the user or the equipment. Dismantling of any part of the equipment, during service or repair, should always be performed by a qualified technician (electromechanical, electronic, mechanical, pneumatic, etc.).

11 Instruction Manual Getting Acquainted Take a moment to familiarize yourself with the location and names of all the Multidoser components. 12 Instruction Manual Connection to Water (only for MULDO or MULBA + MULEX) Place Multidoser near a water cock. Connect the coupling of the armoured hose to the water cock. Struers recommends a pressure of 2-4 bars to avoid splashing. Connect the other end of the hose to the pipe on the back of Multidoser (see drawing in Section Installation of Expansion Unit). Use the hose clamp. WARNING Airlocks in the hose may result in water splashing from Multidoser when used with OP-S for the first time. 6

Unscrew the nozzle used for dosing from Lupo and fasten it again together with the nozzle block as shown in fig.1 (A Lupo nozzle B Multidoser nozzle with Lupo nozzle). Use the enclosed long screws. Mount the nylon strap on the specimen mover as indicated in fig.2. The curved side of the strap should be placed under the cabinet. The black spiral hose contains the connection tubes between Multidoser and the specimen mover. The tubes are very long and should be shortened to fit both the pumps on Multidoser and the nozzle block pipes on the specimen mover. Pull the spiral hose through one of the nylon straps on Multidoser. Connect the end of the tubes to the pumps. The tubes must fit very tightly to avoid leaks. If the Expansion Unit is installed you will find a large tube in the spiral hose. Connect the large tube to the OPS outlet (see drawing in Section Installation of Expansion Unit). Pull the other end of the spiral hose through the strap on the specimen mover and the tubes only through the O-ring delivered with the kit. Mount the tube ends on the nozzle block pipes. The tubes must fit the pipes very tightly. The large tube for OP-Suspension is connected to the large pipe on the nozzle block. Turn the specimen mover as far as it will go and check that the tubes still fit. There must be no bends in the tubes. 15 Instruction Manual RotoPol with RotoForce-1 Pull the tubes through the nozzle arm delivered together with RotoForce-1, and mount the ends of the tubes on the nozzle block pipes. The tubes must fit the pipes very tightly. The large tube for OP-Suspension is connected to the large pipe on the nozzle block. Press the nozzle block back into the arm. Fasten the nozzle block under Lupo with two screws. Move the black spiral hose as close to the nozzle arm as possible. Please check that the tubes are straight, there must be no bends. The tubes are very long, if possible shorten them to match the distance between Multidoser and the dosing nozzle. Pull the spiral hose through one of the nylon straps at the back of Multidoser. Connect the tube ends to the pumps. The tubes must fit very tightly to avoid leaks. If the expansion unit is installed you will find a large tube in the spiral hose. Connect this tube to the OP outlet. (see drawing in section Installation of Expansion Unit). 16 Instruction Manual Abramin Connection Kit MULTH Multidoser is connected to Abramin using a black spiral hose and a nozzle block: Remove the old dosing nozzle (2 screws). Mount the new nozzle block fixture together with the old dosing nozzle using 2 screws (see fig. 1). Fig. 1 Mount the nylon strap on Abramin: remove the screw on the right-hand side of Abramin and mount the strap using screw (see fig. 2). The black spiral hose contains the connection tubes between Multidoser and Abramin. The tubes are very long and should be shortened to fit both the pumps on Multidoser and the pipes on Abramin. 18 Instruction Manual Abrapol-2, Connection Kit MULAT When using Multidoser with Abrapol-2, a nozzle arm is mounted directly on Abrapol-2: Pull the tubes through the nozzle arm and mount the tube ends on the nozzle block pipes. The tubes must fit the pipes very tightly. The large tube for OP-Suspension is connected to the large pipe on the nozzle block. Press the nozzle block back into the nozzle arm. Fasten the screw underneath the nozzle arm. Move the black spiral hose as close to the nozzle arm as possible. Please check that the tubes in the spiral hose are straight; there must be no bends. If a dosing unit (DOTWO) is connected to the Abrapol-2: Unscrew the finger screw holding the Abrapol-2 nozzle block (see drawing 1 ) and remove the nozzle block and the tubes. Remove the housing (see drawing 1 ) after unscrewing the two screws. Remove the plug for the electrical connection on the back of Abrapol-2 (see drawing 2 ). Mount the fitting with the nozzle arm on Abrapol-2 (see drawing 1 ), using the 2 screws. Place Multidoser close to Abrapol-2 (either to the right or to the left) and connect the tube ends to the pumps. The tubes must fit very tightly to avoid leaky connections. The tube ends are very long; if possible shorten them to match the distance between Multidoser and the dosing nozzle. Connect the plug from Multidoser to the adapter box and the plug from the adapter box to the three pin female plug of the separate cable delivered with the kit. The net adapter is connected to the five pin male plug of this cable. Finally, the white three pin male plug is connected to Abrapol-2 (see drawing 1 ). After connecting Multidoser to Abrapol-2, Lubricant l 1 must be selected on Abrapol-2 to activate Multidoser. All other settings like type of lubricant or suspension and dosing level are controlled directly on Multidoser. 12

19 Instruction Manual Drawing 1 Drawing 2 2-Disc Kit MULDI Multidoser can be used as two independent dosing units if set to 2-disc mode in the setup menu. The 2-Disc Kit MULDI should be used and installed in the following way: Pull tubes 1 to 3 out of the original spiral hose. Pull the 3 tubes through the extra spiral. Connect the 2 spiral hoses to each nozzle block or doser arm as described in the appropriate sections. Don't forget to have the connection kit for the second machine if necessary. 13

24 Instruction Manual Filling with Consumables Bottles 1-4 can be used for either DP-Suspension or DP- Lubricant. Bottle 5 is used for DP-Suspension, bottle 6 is used for OP-Suspension. When filling with DP-Suspension, start with the coarse grain sizes in bottle no.1, for example, and move to the finer grain sizes in the bottle no. 2, 3, or 4. If you scroll through the bottles setup, bottle 1 will be displayed first, followed by bottle 2, 3, 4 and so on. So the change will also be from the coarse grain size towards the finer, as in the preparation process. The same process applies to the lubricants: start with the lubricant to be used first, followed by the lubricant used for final polishing. 18

The figure nos. also apply for the similar controls for the lubricant pumps in front panel section B. Acoustic Signals A short beep indicates that a command has been accepted and a long beep indicates that the key is not active at the moment. 20

28 Instruction Manual Before the Preparation Selecting Suspension and Lubricant Adjusting the Dosing Level On the suspension controls (front panel A), press BOTTLE b to select one of the installed DP- or OP-Suspensions. On the lubricant controls (front panel (B), press BOTTLE b to select one of the installed Lubricants. On the suspension controls (front panel A), press the suspension DOSING LEVEL O or N to set the correct amount of DP- or OP-Suspension to be applied. On the lubricant controls (front panel B), press the lubricant DOSING LEVEL O or N to set the correct amount of lubricant to be applied. Running the Preparation Method RotoForce-3/-4, Pedemat, Pedemax-S and Pedemin-S Abrapol and Abramin All Other Equipment Set Multidoser to Auto mode Press START s on the grinding/polishing machine and all connected machines will start simultaneously. When the preset time has expired, all connected machines will stop simultaneously (Pedemin-S: press STOP o on Rotopol). Set Multidoser to Auto mode. Set Abrapol/Abramin to lubricant/doser. Press START s on Abrapol/Abramin and to start the machine and Multidoser simultaneously. When the preset time has expired, Abrapol/Abramin and Multidoser will stop simultaneously. Start the preparation equipment Press START s on Multidoser When the preparation process is through, press STOP o on Multidoser. Then stop the preparation equipment. 22

29 Instruction Manual Compensating for OP Flush Time When you work with OP-Suspensions: the built-in OP flush time has to be compensated for. When the preset preparation time has expired, an additional 10 sec (default value) of flushing with water will be added. Most of the equipment with communication: RotoForce-3/4, Pedemat and Pedemax-S will compensate for the flush time automatically, and stop the preparation equipment, only when the flush time has expired. The following machines, however, must be manually operated to compensate for the flush time: Compensating for OP flush time on Abramin or Abrapol: Set the preparation time on Abramin or Abrapol to the time you want the specimens to be polished plus the OP flush time, e.g. 1 min sec = 70 sec. Start the preparation. Press STOP o on Multidoser when the polishing time has expired and only the OP flush time will be left (e.g. 10 sec), then both Multidoser and Abramin or Abrapol will stop at the same time. Compensating for OP flush time on Pedemin-S and equipment without communication: Press STOP o on Multidoser. Stop the preparation equipment when the OP flush time has expired (e.g. 10 sec). 23

30 Instruction Manual Other Functions Cleaning the Tubes When exchanging a bottle with one grain size of DP-Suspension for another grain size of DP-Suspension, or one lubricant for another lubricant, always clean the tubes of Multidoser to avoid any cross contamination. The tube for OP-Suspension should be cleaned every day if OP-Suspension has been used, to avoid blocking of the system. If you change between OP-S, OP-U or OP-A the tube should also be cleaned. Press CLEAN c. Press SELECT L to toggle between: ALL or ONLY OP. Press CLEAN c again and follow the directions on the display: If you have selected ALL, take the tubes from all the bottles. if you have selected ONLY OP, take only the tube from the OP bottle. To continue the operation, press CLEAN c. To break off the cleaning operation, simply press STOP o. Stirring the Suspensions It is not necessary to stir the Struers DP-Suspensions as they are totally stable, even over a long period of time. However the possibility of stirring DP-Suspensions is included in Multidoser: Press STIR I to start the stirring action. The peristaltic pumps will be reversed and air pumped into the suspensions to agitate them. The OP-Suspension is not stirred. TUBE EMPTY When you have cleaned the tubes or stirred the suspensions, the tubes will be empty. Use the manual dosing keys in front panel section A and B to refill the tubes. If you have forgotten to refill the tubes, an error message: TUBE EMPTY will appear on the display, followed by a series of acoustic signals when you select a suspension or lubricant after cleaning. 24

Advanced Operations Installation of Expansion Unit MULEX (Accessory) Switch off the power on Multidoser by removing the cable from the grinding/polishing machine or the external power supply. Remove the dummy plate on the back of Multidoser by unscrewing the 4 screws. Mount the tubes on the steel pipes marked IN. Pull the 3 tubes on the expansion unit through the holes beside the bottles. Mount a cap on each tube. Connect the plug on the expansion unit to the plug on Multidoser. Fasten with the 2 thumb screws. Fasten the expansion unit with the 4 screws from the back cover. Connect the steel pipes marked OUT on the expansion unit to the tubes attached to the nozzle arm. Switch the power back on again. Expansion unit OPS Water X4 X3 X2 X1 26

33 Instruction Manual 2-Disc System Disc/ Scheibe/ Disque 1 Disc/ Scheibe/ Disque 2 L/S L/S OP L/S L/S S A Multidoser with 6 bottles (MULDO or MULBA + MULEX) can be set up to work as two individual dosing units, supplying suspension and lubricant to two individual grinding/polishing machines or discs. When you use the 2-disc system, bottles no. 1-3 will serve disc/machine 1 and bottles no. 4-6 will serve disc/machine 2. Make sure that the correct suspensions and lubricants are placed in the right positions, as there only are three bottles available for each machine. OP-Suspensions can only be supplied to machine/disc 2. Press MENU m to activate the setup menu. Press SELECT L to change from BOTTLES SETUP to BASIC SETUP. Press MENU m until you reach the 2-DISC SYSTEM menu. 2-DISC SYSTEM NO L L Press SELECT L to toggle between NO or YES. 2-DISC SYSTEM YES o Press STOP o to exit the Setup menu. 27

34 Instruction Manual OP Flush-time After polishing with an oxide polishing suspension, Multidoser will automatically flush with water for a preset time to clean both the tube, the polishing cloth and the specimens from suspension. The OP flush-time can be set from sec. Press MENU m to activate the setup menu. Press SELECT L to change from BOTTLES SETUP to BASIC SETUP. Press MENU m until you reach the OP FLUSH-TIME menu. OP FLUSH-TIME 10 L L Press SELECT L to change the OP flush-time. OP FLUSH-TIME 15 o Press STOP o to exit the Setup menu. 28

35 Instruction Manual Pre-Dosing Multidoser can be programmed to supply an extra amount of lubricant whenever a preparation step is started. This is practical when using new or seldom used dry polishing cloths. 36 Instruction Manual End-Dosing Multidoser can be programmed to supply an extra amount of lubricant just before the preparation step is finished. This is especially useful when large specimens in a specimen holder are prepared on a very plane disc, like Petrodisc-M or DP-Plan. The adhesion between sample and preparation disc can be so great, that when the process is finished and the specimen holder moved upwards, the preparation disc and the specimen holder can be lifted together. To decrease the adhesion, an extra amount of lubricant can be supplied. End-dosing can be programmed to two settings: End-dosing Settings NO YES No End-Dosing of lubricant End-Dosing of lubricant, about 1.0 sec Press MENU m to activate the setup menu. 37 Instruction Manual 2. Maintenance Daily Clean all accessible surfaces with a moist cloth. Clean the OP-Suspension tube if that has been used, using the CLEAN c function. Weekly Clean all tubes using the CLEAN c function. Yearly Grease the pump roller with ordinary ball bearing grease (see fig. 1). Disconnect Multidoser from the power supply. Change Tubes in the Pumps Remove the pump lid by removing the locking spring. Cut the tube clip and remove the old tube and the pump roller (see sketch). Grease the pump roller with ordinary ball bearing grease (see sketch). Lead the new tube through the pump and mount it onto the pipes. The tube must fit the pipes very tightly. Attach the tube clip and tighten it. Mount the rollers by pushing them over the pump motor shaft. Turn the rollers with the fingers while pressing the tube against the shaft. The tube should stay firmly pressed between the pump housing and the rollers. Mount the lid again with the locking spring. Connect Multidoser to the power supply again. 31

38 Instruction Manual 3. Trouble-shooting Display/error Cause Action TUBE EMPTY The tubes are empty. Press MANUAL DOSING g until the dosing liquid reaches the nozzles and starts dripping on the disc. If Multidoser works in a 2-disc system you must change pump module with DISC SELECT T and repeat NO SETUP The Multidoser bottle type list has not been defined. MANUAL DOSING g for the other pump module. Use the MAIN MENU, BOTTLES- SETUP to define the bottle types (see Section Setting up). Dosing active but no dosing liquid Tube empty Press MANUAL DOSING g until the liquid has filled the tube completely. Tubes clogged Multidoser has not been used for some time: the tubes in the peristaltic pumps may be "glued" together, clogging the passage of any liquid. Use MANUAL DOSING g and CLEAN c alternately to actuate the tube to loosen the adhesion. Japanese Texts Multidoser has the possibility of showing the screen texts in Japanese. When choosing a European language in the LANGUAGE menu, you might accidentally press m MENU at the Japanese option. Fill a syringe with water and carefully press water into the inlet tube of the pump, while activating MANUAL DOSING g. Keep pressing water into the tube until the adhesion loosens and the tube allows the water to pass through. To return to English, German or French texts, just follow this procedure: Press STOP o. Press MENU m. Press SELECT L. Press MENU m. Press SELECT L until the desired language appears. Press STOP o to accept the choice. 32

46 Gebrauchsanweisung Multidoser Sicherheitshinweise Vor Gebrauch sorgfältig lesen 1. Lesen Sie bitte die Gebrauchsanweisung vor Gebrauch des Gerätes ausführlich. 2. Das Gerät muß arbeits- und funktionsgerecht aufgestellt werden. 3. Überprüfen Sie die Wasseranschlüsse auf Dichtheit. 4. Bevor Sie am Multidoser Schläuche auswechseln, ziehen Sie bitte den Netzstecker. 5. Stellen Sie die Wasserzufuhr ab, wenn das Gerät nicht in Gebrauch ist. 6. Falls das Gerät sich ungewöhnlich verhält oder falsch funktioniert, unterbrechen Sie den Betrieb, und rufen Sie den Kundendienst an. Das Gerät darf nur für seinen vorgesehenen Anwendungszweck und wie in der Gebrauchsanweisung beschrieben verwendet werden. 53 Gebrauchsanweisung Wasseranschluß (nur für MULDO oder MULBA + MULEX) Stellen Sie Multidoser nahe einem Wasseranschluß auf. Schließen Sie die Schlauchkupplung des Druckschlauchs an den Wasserhahn an. Mögliches Spritzen kann vermieden werden, wenn der Wasserdruck 2-4 Bar beträgt. Schließen Sie das andere Ende des Schlauchs an den Wassereinlaß auf der Rückseite des Multidoser an (siehe Zeichnung der Erweiterungseinheit). Sichern Sie den Anschluß mit einer Schlauchschelle. HINWEIS Wenn Sie zum ersten Mal OP-S benützen, kann der mit Luft gefüllte Schlauch spritzen. 6

Schrauben Sie die vom Lupo verwendete Düse ab, und befestigen Sie sie wieder zusammen mit dem Düsenblock; siehe Fig. 1. Benützen Sie dabei die beiliegenden langen Schrauben. Montieren Sie den Nylonbügel am Probenbeweger, wie das in Fig. 2 gezeigt ist; der gebogene Teil kommt unter das Gehäuse zu liegen. Die Schläuche der Schlauchverbindung zwischen Multidoser und dem Probenbeweger befinden sich im schwarzen Spiralschlauch. Schneiden Sie die überlangen Schläuche auf Länge, so daß sie zwischen die Pumpen des Multidoser und die Rohre des Düsenblocks am Probenbeweger passen. Fig. 2 Ziehen Sie den Spiralschlauch durch den Nylonbügel am Multidoser. Verbinden Sie die Schlauchenden mit den Pumpen. Achten Sie darauf, daß die Schläuche fest sitzen und keine Lecks auftreten. Falls eine Erweiterungseinheit montiert ist, finden Sie im Spiralschlauch einen deutlich dickeren Schlauch. Verbinden Sie diesen mit dem OPS Auslaß, Fig.3. Ziehen Sie das andere Ende des Spiralschlauchs durch den Nylonbügel am Probenbeweger. Durch den O-Ring, der dem Anschlußsatz beiliegt, werden nur die Schläuche gezogen. Schließen Sie die Schlauchenden an die Rohre des Düsenblocks an. Die Schläuche müssen auf den Rohren dicht und fest sitzen. Der dicke Schlauch für OP-Suspension wird am Düsenblock mit dem Rohr des entsprechenden Durchmessers verbunden. Führen Sie den Probenbeweger über seinen gesamten Bewegungsbereich und prüfen Sie dabei, ob die Schläuche korrekt sitzen. Insbesondere dürfen sie keine Knicke aufweisen. 56 Gebrauchsanweisung RotoPol mit RotoForce-1 Ziehen Sie die Schläuche durch den Düsenarm, der zusammen mit RotoForce-1 geliefert wird und schließen Sie die Schlauchenden an die Rohre des Düsenblocks an. Die Schläuche müssen auf den Rohren dicht und fest sitzen. Der dicke Schlauch für OP-Suspension wird mit dem Rohr des entsprechenden Durchmessers am Düsenblock verbunden. Drücken Sie den Düsenblock wieder in den Arm hinein. Befestigen Sie den Düsenblock unter Lupo mit zwei Schrauben. Führen Sie den Spiralschlauch so dicht zum Düsenarm wie möglich. Prüfen Sie, ob die Schläuche korrekt sitzen. Insbesondere dürfen sie keine Knicke aufweisen. Die Schläuche sind sehr lang und können wenn notwendig gekürzt werden um dem Abstand zwischen Multidoser und dem Düsenarm zu entsprechen. Ziehen Sie den Spiralschlauch durch den Nylonbügel am Multidoser. Verbinden Sie die Schlauchenden mit den Pumpen. Achten Sie darauf, daß die Schläuche fest sitzen und keine Lecks auftreten. Falls eine Erweiterungseinheit montiert ist, finden Sie im Spiralschlauch einen deutlich dickeren Schlauch. Verbinden Sie diesen mit dem OP Auslaß (Sehen Sie Zeichnung um Abschnitt Montage der Erweiterungseinheit). 57 Gebrauchsanweisung Abramin Anschlußsatz MULTH Fig. 1 Fig. 2 Der Multidoser wird mit dem Abramin über einen schwarzen Spiralschlauch und einen Düsenblock verbunden: Entfernen Sie die alten Dosierdüsen (2 Schrauben). Bringen Sie die Aufhängung für den neuen Düsenblock, zusammen mit der alten Dosierdüse, mit 2 Schrauben an (Fig. 1). Bringen Sie den Nylonbügel am Abramin an: Lösen Sie rechts am Abramin die Schraube und befestigen Sie den Bügel mit der Schraube (siehe Fig. 2). Die Schläuche der Schlauchverbindung zwischen Multidoser und Abramin befinden sich im schwarzen Spiralschlauch. Schneiden Sie die Schläuche auf Länge, so daß sie zwischen die Pumpen des Multidoser und die Rohre des Abramin passen. Ziehen Sie den Spiralschlauch durch den Nylonbügel am Multidoser. Verbinden Sie die Schlauchenden mit den Pumpen. Achten Sie darauf, daß die Schläuche fest sitzen und keine Lecks auftreten. Falls eine Erweiterungseinheit montiert ist, finden Sie im Spiralschlauch einen deutlich dickeren Schlauch. Verbinden Sie diesen mit dem OPS Auslaß, Fig. 3. Ziehen Sie das andere Ende des Spiralschlauchs durch den Nylonbügel am Abramin und durch die Aufhängung des Düsenblocks. Verbinden Sie die Schlauchenden mit den Rohren des Düsenblocks. Achten Sie auf Dichtheit der Verbindung. Der dicke Schlauch für OPS wird mit dem Rohr des entsprechenden Durchmessers am Düsenblock verbunden. Setzen Sie den Düsenblock in seine Aufhängung ein. Achten Sie darauf, daß die Schläuche keine Knicke aufweisen. 10

59 Gebrauchsanweisung Abrapol-2, Anschlußsatz MULAT Wenn Multidoser zusammen mit Abrapol-2 benützt wird, erfolgt die Montage des Düsenarms direkt auf dem Abrapol-2: Wenn Multidoser zusammen mit Abrapol-2 benützt wird, erfolgt die Montage des Düsenarms direkt auf dem Abrapol-2: Ziehen Sie die Schläuche durch den Düsenarm. Schließen Sie die Schlauchenden an die Rohre des Düsenblocks an. Die Schläuche müssen auf den Rohren dicht und fest sitzen. Der dicke Schlauch für OP-Suspension wird mit dem Rohr des entsprechenden Durchmessers am Düsenblock verbunden. Drücken Sie den Düsenblock wieder in den Arm hinein. Ziehen Sie die unten liegende Schraube fest. Drücken Sie den schwarzen Spiralschlauch so nah wie möglich an den Düsenarm. Achten Sie bitte darauf, daß die Schläuche im Spiralschlauch glatt liegen und keine Knicke aufweisen. Wenn eine Dosiereinheit (DOTWO) am Abrapol-2 angeschlossen ist: Entfernen Sie die Rändelschraube welche den Abrapol-2 Düsenblock hält (Siehe Fig. 1. ) und entfernen Sie den Düsenblock und die Schläuche. Enfernen Sie das Gehäuse (Siehe Fig. 1. ) nachdem Sie die beiden Schrauben herausgeschraubt haben. Entfernen Sie den Stecker für die elektrische Verbindung an der Rückwand von Abrapol-2 (Siehe Fig. 2. ) Montieren Sie die Halterung mit dem Düsenarm unter Verwendung der zwei Schrauben an das Abrapol-2 (siehe Fig. 1. ). Stellen Sie Multidoser nahe zum Abrapol-2 auf und schließen Sie die Schlauchenden an die Pumpen an. Die Schläuche müssen auf den Rohren dicht und fest sitzen, so daß keine Lecks auftreten. Schneiden Sie die überlangen Schläuche auf Länge, so daß sie zwischen Multidoser und die Dosierdüsen passen. Verbinden Sie den Stecker vom Multidoser mit der Adapterbox, und den Stecker von der Adapterbox mit der dreipoligen Steckdose des separaten mit dem Kit gelieferten Kabels. Das Netzteil wird mit dem fünfpoligen Stecker dieses Kabels verbunden. Endlich wird der weiße, dreipolige Stecker mit dem Abrapol-2 verbunden (siehe Fig. 1. ). Nach dem Anschliessen von Multidoser an Abrapol-2, muss Schmiermittel l 1 am Abrapol-2 gewählt werden um Multidoser zu aktivieren. Alle anderen Einstellungen wie z.b. Art von Schmiermittel oder Suspension oder Dosiermenge werden direkt am Multidoser eingestellt. 12

60 Gebrauchsanweisung Fig. 1 Fig. 2 2-Scheiben Anschlußsatz MULDI Multidoser kann wie zwei unabhängige Dosiergeräte verwendet werden, wenn im Menü der Grundkonfiguration die Betriebsart 2- Scheiben eingestellt wird. Es ist ein 2-Scheiben Anschlußsatzes MULDI erforderlich, der folgendermaßen angeschlossen wird: Ziehen Sie Schlauch 1 bis 3 aus dem Spiralschlauch. Ziehen Sie die drei Schläuche durch einen gesonderten Spiralschlauch. Verbinden Sie die beiden Spiralschläuche mit jedem Düsenblock oder Düsenarm, wie in den einzelnen Abschnitten beschrieben ist. Denken Sie bitte daran, daß evtl. auch für die zweite Maschine ein Anschlußsatz benötigt wird. 13
