Gefahrenhinweise Die folgenden Hinweise dienen einerseits Ihrer persönlichen Sicherheit und andererseits der Sicherheit vor Beschädigung des beschriebenen Produktes oder angeschlossener Geräte. Sicherheitshinweise und Warnungen zur Abwendung von Gefahren für Leben und Gesundheit von Benutzern oder Instandhaltungspersonal bzw. zur Vermeidung von Sachschäden werden in dieser Anleitung durch die hier definierten Piktogramme hervorgehoben. 4 Rufkompaktset Allgemein Das Rufkompaktset (Art.-Nr. 7690C und 7690D) ist jeweils ein eigenständiges, aufeinander abgestimmtes System und wird werkseitig mit allen erforderlichen Komponenten für die Rufauslösung, Anzeige / Quittierung und Spannungsversorgung geliefert. Eine typische Anwendung ist beispielsweise die Ausrüstung von Toiletten und Sanitärräumen in öffentlichen Gebäuden, in denen hilfebedürftige Menschen in bestimmten Situationen, wie z. B. nach einem Sturz, einen Notruf auslösen und Hilfe herbeirufen können.. Funktion Ein Notruf wird über den speziell für diese Anwendung geeigneten Ruftaster mit Zugschnur ausgelöst und vor Ort an der Außenwand des Raumes gut sichtbar mit der integrierten Signalleuchte des Elektronikmoduls angezeigt. Zusätzlich leuchtet die rote Beruhigungsleuchte in dem Ruftaster mit Zugschnur, um der hilfebedürftigen Person zu signalisieren, dass der Ruf ausgelöst wurde. Mit der Dienstzimmereinheit besteht die Möglichkeit, den ausgelösten Ruf auch Personen an einer weiteren bzw. abgesetzten Stelle, wie z. B. dem Pflegepersonal oder Pförtner, optisch und akustisch anzuzeigen. Die rote LED des Tasters auf der Dienstzimmereinheit leuchtet und der integrierte Summer ertönt. Durch Drücken der Taste >SU Aus / Warten< wird der Summer für ca Sekunden stumm geschaltet und nach Ablauf dieser Zeit erneut angesteuert. Nach Überprüfung der Ursache für die Auslösung des Notrufes vor Ort, wird der Ruf, und somit alle angesteuerten optischen und akustischen Signalgeber, durch Drücken des Abstelltasters zurückgesetzt. 7 Rufkompaktset 3 Montage und Installation 3. Montagehinweise Neben den allgemeinen Regeln der VDE 000 / IEC 364- sind verschiedene Normen und Vorschriften einzuhalten. Grundlage für den Aufbau und die Funktion einer Rufanlage ist die DIN VDE Hinzu kommen besondere Bedingungen in medizinisch genutzten Räumen (VDE 007) und allgemeine Regeln der Fernmeldetechnik. Zum Schutz gegen gefährliche Körperströme müssen in den Räumen der Anwendungsgruppe und 2 - nach VDE die für diese Räume geforderten Schutzmaßnahmen angewendet werden. Im Rahmen der Errichtung kann, je nach Installation oder Standort, die Beachtung weiterer Vorschriften erforderlich werden. Auszug aus der DIN VDE Rufanlagen in Krankenhäusern, Pflegeheimen und ähnlichen Einrichtungen Die Geräte der Rufanlage müssen in folgender Höhe über dem Fußboden angebracht werden: Geräte zum Bedienen (mit oder ohne Anzeigelampen) 0,7 m bis,5 m (wie z. B. Ruf- oder Abstelltaster) Bei Ruftastern mit Zugschnur in Nasszellen die besonderen Anforderungen des barrierefreien Wohnens berücksichtigen. Zugschnüre müssen hier z. B. auch von auf dem Boden liegenden Personen erreicht werden können. Geräte zum Bedienen mit Textanzeigen,5 m bis,8 m (wie z. B. Terminals mit Display) Die Montageorte so wählen, dass sie keiner direkten Sonneneinstrahlung ausgesetzt sind. Geräte in Installationseinheiten,6 m bis,8 m (wie z. B. Medizinische Versorgungseinheiten) Signalleuchten und Großtextanzeigen,5 m bis 2,2 m Steuereinheiten, Energieversorgungsgeräte Zentrale Steuergeräte, Energieversorgungsgeräte und sonstige Teile ohne Bedien- oder Signalfunktion dürfen nur in trockenen Räumen (max. Luftfeuchtigkeit 75 % bei ca. 8 C) montiert werden, jedoch nicht in Patientenzimmern. Sie müssen jederzeit gut zugänglich sein (Revisionsgang mit mindestens 60 cm Breite). Die Wärmeabfuhr darf nicht behindert werden. Beim Einbau in Schaltschränke o.ä. muss gegebenenfalls durch Zwangslüftung die Verlustwärme abgeführt werden. Die DIN Barrierefreies Bauen schreibt darüber hinaus vor, Bedienelemente für Rollstuhlfahrer in einer Höhe von 0,85 m zu montieren. In WC und Nasszellen die besonderen Bestimmungen der DIN VDE 000 beachten. In diesen Räumen dürfen nur die hierfür geeigneten Geräte eingebaut werden. Die herstellereigenen Hinweise beachten, die die Geräte für den Einbau in WC- und Nasszellenbereiche besonders kennzeichnen. Ruftaster mit Zugschnur o.ä. in Duschzellen müssen mindestens 20 cm über der höchsten möglichen Position des Brausekopfes angebracht werden und die Zugschnur sollte nicht weiter als 20 cm von der Oberkante des Fußbodens entfernt sein, damit auf dem Boden liegende Personen die Zugschnur erreichen können. Das Rufkompaktset ist standardmäßig für den Einsatz in trockenen Innenräumen vorgesehen. Bei Verwendung der IPx4-Dichteinsätze (Art.-Nr. 8860A) kann der Einsatzbereich für die entsprechenden Komponenten auf Feuchträume erweitert werden. Die Geräte sind nicht für explosionsgefährdete Montageorte geeignet. 7690XE /

8 Rufkompaktset 3.2 Wandmontage Rufkompaktset (Art.-Nr. 7690C / 7690D) Die Komponenten des Rufkompaktsets werden in eine up-schalterdose eingesetzt und können optional mit dem Dichtsatz für Standard Installationseinheiten ergänzt werden. Dichtung, Abdeckplattenrahmen, Dichtung und Abdeckplatte (je nach eingesetztem Modul) lagerichtig montieren. Dichtsatz für Standard Installationseinheiten (Art.-Nr. 8860A) Der Dichtsatz erhört die Schutzart der Komponenten von IP 40 auf IP 44. Gefahr Elektrischer Schlag! Montage- und Installationsarbeiten im spannungsfreien Zustand der Module ausführen! Personenschäden Während der Montage- und Installationsarbeiten dürfen die betroffenen Räumlichkeiten nur durch Fachpersonal betreten werden. 16 Compact Call Set General information The compact call set (Part No. 7690C and 7690D) is an independent, coordinated system delivered with all necessary components for call initiation, indication / acknowledgement and power supply. One typical application, for instance, is outfitting WCs and sanitary rooms in public buildings in which people in need of help can initiate an emergency call in certain situations, such as after a fall.. Function An emergency call is initiated via a pull cord that is specially suited for this application and indicated "locally" in a highly visible fashion on the wall outside the room by the integrated signal lamp of the electronic module. In addition, the red reassurance light in the pull cord lights to signal to the person in need that the call has been sent. With the duty room unit, it is possible to also visibly and audibly indicate the triggered call to people at another (remote) location, such as care personnel or a porter. The red LED of the button on the duty room unit lights and the integrated buzzer sounds. Pressing the button "BU Off / Delay", silences the buzzer for about 5-20 seconds, after which time it is triggered again. After checking locally on the reason for triggering of the emergency call, the call can be reset by pressing the cancel button, which also resets all triggered visual and audio indicators. 19 Compact Call Set 3 Modification and installation 3. Installation instructions In addition to the general rules of VDE 000 / IEC 364-, various standards and regulations must be complied with. DIN VDE 0834 is the basis for the design and function of a call system. The special conditions in rooms used for medical purposes (VDE 007) and general rules of telecommunications technology also apply. To protect against dangerous shock currents, the respectively required protective measures must be employed in rooms of application groups and 2 according VDE 007. It may be necessary to follow additional regulations during the course of setting up the system, depending on the installation or location. Excerpt from DIN VDE Call Systems in Hospitals, Nursing Homes and Similar Institutions The devices of the call system must be installed at the following heights above the floor: Devices for operation (with or without indicator lamps) 0.7 m to.5 m (such as call or cancel buttons) For pull switches in wet rooms, the special requirements of barrier-free living must be taken into account. In such cases, it must be possible for people lying on the ground to reach the pull cords, for example. For installation in switch cabinets or the like, it may be necessary to employ forced ventilation to dissipate the waste heat. DIN Barrier-free buildings further requires that operating elements for people in wheelchairs be installed at a height of 0.85 m. In WCs and wet rooms, the special provisions of DIN VDE 000 must be observed. Only correspondingly suitable devices may be installed in these rooms. Observe the instructions of the manufacturer that specially designate the devices as suitable for installation in WCs and wet room areas. Pull switches, etc. in showers must be installed at least 20 cm above the highest possible position of the shower head, and the pull cord should not be farther than 20 cm away from the top edge of the floor to ensure that people lying on the floor can still reach the pull cord. In its standard design, the compact call set is intended for use in dry, indoor rooms. The range of applications of the corresponding components can be extended to damp rooms through use of the IPx4 seal inserts (Part No. 8860A). 20 Compact Call Set 3.2 Wall installation of compact call set (Part No. 7690C / 7690D) The components of the compact call set are installed within a flush wall box and can optionally be supplemented by a sealing kit for standard installation units. Install the flush wall box in the wall and ensure a sufficient reserve of cable. 2. Position the seal and installation unit, then fasten with the four enclosed screws. 3. Mount the seal, cover plate frame, seal and cover plate (depending on the module used) with the correct orientation. Sealing kit for standard installation units (Part No. 8860A) The sealing kit increases the component protection class from IP 40 to IP 44. Danger Electric shock! Assembly and installation work may only be performed while the module is de-energised (without power).
