12 Furumo artificial ice rink The Furumo artificial ice rink was opened in 1995 and is run by volunteers in the Geithus IL skating club. The ice rink also has the very first curling sheet in the Buskerud region. The artificial ice rink is open for activities on ice from October to March. During the summer the rink is open for training on roller skates. Furumo swimming pool The Furumo swimming pool is a true oasis for the inhabitants of Modum and the surrounding areas. Since it opened in 1993, the swimming pool has had just under 100,000 visitors every year. The swimming pool is open to all, 12 months a year.
