1 Mater Dei Die Interpretation dieser geistlihen Chorkomposition nah dem Angelus soll entsprehend dem Charakter des Stükes shliht und einem klassishen Chorklang verpflihtet angelegt erden. Jede der beiden Strophen (Mater Dei.../Stella maris...) des innigen Gebetes gliedert sih in 3 Abshnitte: a) Die Takte 1 bis 5 bringen im Wehsel von stimme und Chor einen ausdruksstarken Ruf an die Gottesmutter: Mater Dei! b) In den Takten 6 bis 8 folgt ein breites Ave, elhes in sehr freiem Tempo zu gestalten ist. Dazu kann der Sprehtext in lateinisher, englisher oder deutsher Sprahe frei deklamiert erden. ) Die folgenden Takte 9 bis 18 sind a tempo mit starkem Ausdruk zu singen, bis die Strophe mit den ermaten im pianissimo verklingt Amen. This an be aompanied by a free delamation of the spoken text in Latin, English or German. ) The subsequent bars 9 to 18 are to be sung a tempo and ith great expression until the stanza fades ith the fermata to a pianissimo lose Amen.
