Purpose This directive describes the Quality Policy of the Balluff Group. 1.1 Foreword The Quality Policy has the goal, to support the strategic development of the Balluff Group and to address to the requirements, which are arisen from the context of the organization. The Balluff Quality Policy provides the framework for setting quality objectives and is committed to continuous improvement of the implemented quality management system. 1.2 Scope The Quality Policy of the Balluff Group applies to all locations. Zweck Diese Direktive beschreibt die Qualitätspolitik der Balluff Gruppe Vorwort Die Qualitätspolitik hat das Ziel die strategisch Weiterentwicklung der Balluff Gruppe zu unterstützen und richtet sich dabei an den Anforderungen, welche sich aus dem Kontext der Organisation ergeben. Die Balluff Qualitätspolitik stellt den Rahmen zur Festlegung von Qualitätszielen und verpflichtet sich zur kontinuierlichen Verbesserung des implementierten Qualitätsmanagement Systems Geltungsbereich Die Qualitätspolitik der Balluff Gruppe gilt für alle Standorte. 6 4 The Balluff Quality Policy Sustainability, reliability and quality are the core values that Balluff stands for, to which we are obligated and to which we will remain true. Quality always has four dimensions at Balluff: Quality in sales, in the product, in logistics and in service. If we do our best in these areas, the unique Balluff quality will be the result. Customer orientation is our top priority. The benchmark for this quality standard is the customer and thereby of the market. The customer is thus the criteria of what we do. This results in the highest possible customer satisfaction. Quality is a collaborative effort and applies to each and every one of us. Every colleague is a customer and has the same claim to sustainability, reliability and quality. At Balluff each individual assumes responsibility to always find the best solution in partnership with the customer and in the interest of the company. Every employee must know and understand the specific quality requirements for his or her job function which is why our employees are continuously informed through use of open and clear communication, qualified and continuously educating themselves. Balluff is a leading supplier of sensor, identification and networking systems for the automation industry. Balluff develops and produces its broad portfolio of over 30,000 different products at nine locations worldwide and sells through a global sales, logistics and service network with over 60 subsidiaries and representatives. We stand behind a global quality promise. Our customers place the highest demands on our services and on both the quality and durability of our products. Quality is not merely adherence to written requirements or standards. Our analyzing and testing often far exceed the requirements, we know our customers' applications and the demands they place on the quality of our work. Only the highest quality will ensure the success of our customers against their competition and with it our leading position in the automation industry. Our dedication to quality leadership and customer orientation is described in the corporate guidelines (Mission/Vision/Values) and is visualized and operationalized through the Balluff strategy-house. We work continuously on optimizing our processes, services and the performance capability of the quality management system. This we achieve through transparent handling of defects, a corresponding improvement process as well as clear target objectives. These are regularly checked and continually updated using a system of KPIs (Key Performance Indicators). Our employees are the key to high quality. Qualität hat bei Balluff immer vier Dimensionen: Qualität im Vertrieb, im Produkt, in der Logistik und im Service.
