Die Software wird lizenziert, nicht verkauft. Sie dürfen eine Kopie der Software auf einem Computer für Ihre persönliche, nicht kommerzielle Nutzung installieren und ausführen. Installation Die Installation unter allen drei Systemen (Windows, Mac und Linux) ist recht einfach gehalten. Bei einer Download-Version laden Sie sich bitte die für Ihr System passende.zip-datei aus Ihrem Download-Shop-Account herunter und entpacken diese in einen beliebigen Ordner. Nach dem Entpacken starten Sie bitte die Installationsdatei per Doppelklick. Sind Sie im Besitz der CD/DVD-Version, sollte die Installation unter Windows automatisch starten. Ist diese Funktion auf Ihrem System deaktiviert oder nutzen Sie ein Mac oder Linux System, dann öffnen Sie bitte die CD/DVD mit einem passenden Dateiverwaltungsprogramm (z.b.: Explorer, Total Commander, Finder, Midnight Commander oder Nautilus) und starten Sie anschließend von dort das Installationsprogramm. Bevor Sie mit der Installation fortfahren, vergewissern Sie sich bitte, dass X-Plane geschlossen ist und Sie die erforderlichen Rechte besitzen, um die Installation auszuführen. Das Installationsprogramm wird Sie nun durch die einzelnen Schritte führen. Bei einem Schritt werden Sie aufgefordert, den Pfad zum X-Plane- Hauptverzeichnis einzugeben. Vergewissern Sie sich bitte, dass dieser korrekt eingegeben ist und dass Sie auch nur das Hauptverzeichnis gewählt haben und kein Unterverzeichnis wie z.b.: Custom Scenery oder Aircrafts. Deinstallation Eine Deinstallation sollte nie manuell durchgeführt werden, sondern immer über das mitgelieferte Deinstallationsprogramm. Unter Windows können Sie die Deinstallation über die Systemsteuerung -> Programme und Funktionen aufrufen und durchführen. Bei den beiden anderen Systemen können Sie die Deinstallation aufrufen, in dem Sie in das Verzeichnis (bei Szenerien) <X-Plane 10 Hauptordner>\ Custom Scenery\Aerosoft ICAO Code Produkt Name \_ Produkt Name _installation\ wechseln und das Programm Change Produkt Name Installation ausführen und die Option Uninstall Product wählen. 5 Grafikeinstellungen X-Plane Wir empfehlen, zu Testzwecken mit niedrigen Einstellungen in den XP10 Redering Options zu beginnen und diese dann schrittweise zu erhöhen. In unseren Testumgebungen (Mac und PC) haben wir mit den folgenden, relativ hohen Einstellungen sehr gute Ergebnisse erzielen können. DSF-Dateien Im Produkt enthalten sind mehrere DSF-Dateien. Mit diesen DSF- Dateien können Sie das Gras ein- oder ausschalten (je nachdem ob Ihr Rechner über genügend Leistung verfügt). Um die Dateien umzubenennen, müssen Sie über Ihr Dateiverwaltungsprogramm in folgenden Ordner wechseln: [X-Plane Hauptordner]\Custom Scenery\ Aerosoft - KPUW Airport Pullman-Moscow \Earth nav data\ \ Deutsch scenery_packs.ini Die Reihenfolge der einzelnen Pakete sollte in der scenery_packs.ini wie folgt aussehen: I 1000 version SCENERY SCENERY_PACK Custom Scenery/Aerosoft - KPUW Airport Pullman-Moscow/ SCENERY_PACK Custom Scenery/Aerosoft - KPUW Airport Pullman-Moscow Mesh/ SCENERY_PACK Custom Scenery/Global Airports/ SCENERY_PACK Custom Scenery/KSEA Demo Area/ SCENERY_PACK Custom Scenery/KSEA Demo Terrain/ SCENERY_PACK Custom Scenery/zzz_hd_global_scenery3/ SCENERY_PACK Custom Scenery/OpenSceneryX/ Hinweis: Um eine bessere Ablaufgeschwindigkeit zu erzielen, empfehlen wir die World Object Distance zu verringern. Hinweis: Damit Sie in der Nacht auch etwas auf dem Boden erkennen können, muss die Funktion HDR rendering eingeschaltet sein. HD Mesh v3 Kachel Wir liefern zum Produkt eine HD Mesh V3-Kachel aus der Donationware von Andras Fabian ( mit, da das Mesh dadurch um einiges realistischer aussieht. An dieser Stelle auch noch schnell ein GROßES Dankeschön an Andras Fabian für die Genehmigung und für sein tolles AddOn für X-Plane 10. Wichtig ist bei der Benutzung des Meshs, dass der Ordner Aerosoft - KPUW Airport Pullman-Moscow Mesh in der scenery_packs.ini immer unterhalb der eigentlichen Szenerie liegt (Aerosoft - KPUW Airport Pullman-Moscow). Falls Sie das HD Mesh V3 und die Kachel bereits installiert haben, können Sie den Aerosoft - KPUW Airport Pullman-Moscow Mesh Ordner getrost löschen, um Speicherplatz zu sparen. 8 9

Navigationseinrichtungen VOR PUW VOR MQG Installation The installation on all three systems (Windows, Mac und Linux) is kept really simple. The hardest part of the installation is probably the path to the main folder of X-Plane 10. Having purchased a download version you will need to download the.zip file suited for your system from your download shop account and then unzip it to a folder of your choice. After unzipping please double click on the install file. If you are owner of the CD/DVD version, installation should start automatically under Windows. If this function is de-activated on your system or if you are using a Mac or Linux system, open the CD/DVD with a program (e.g.: Explorer, Total Commander, Finder, Midnight 10 11

7 Commander or Nautilus) and then start the install. Before you continue with the installation please make sure that X-Plane is closed and that you have the necessary rights to install. The install program will now lead you through the process step by step. One step will ask you for the path of the X-Plane main folder. Make sure that this path is correct, it should only be the path for the main folder and not for any sub-folders such as Custom Scenery or Aircrafts. Uninstalling Never manually uninstall the product. Please always use the Uninstaller that comes with the program. You can do this in by navigating to the control panel -> programs and features. In other systems you can call up the uninstaller, by going to the folder (sceneries) <X-Plane 10 main folder>\custom Scenery\Aerosoft ICAO Code product name \_ product name _installation\ and to execute the program Change product name Installation and to select the option Uninstall Product. Here s an example for a path to the Airport Frankfurt-Hahn : Path for uninstall <X-Plane 10 main folder>\custom Scenery\Aerosoft EDFH Airport Frankfurt-Hahn\_Airport Frankfurt-Hahn_installation\ Uninstaller Change Airport Frankfurt-Hahn Installation Display settings X-Plane We advise you to set your rendering options to low or medium settings first. If you experience good framerates you can increase the settings for a better graphical experience. From testing we can conclude that the following settings have given us a reasonable framerate and a very good visual experience on PCs and Macs. Note: To get a better performance please turn down the World Object Distance in your rendering settings. Note: To be able to see illuminations on the ground make sure to activate HDR rendering DSF Files The product contains two DSF files. These files allow switching the 3D grass on or off. To do that, you can rename the files dsf.default (no 3D Gras) or dsf.grass (with 3D Gras) in dsf. To rename the files navigate to the following folder: [X-Plane main folder]\ Custom Scenery\ Aerosoft - KPUW Airport Pullman-Moscow \Earth nav data\ \ English 12 13

Important for the usage of the mesh is that the folder Aerosoft - KPUW Airport Pullman-Moscow Mesh in the scenery_packs.ini is always listed BELOW the actual scenery (Aerosoft - KPUW Airport Pullman- Moscow). If you have already installed the HD Mesh V3 and the tile you can delete the folder Aerosoft - KPUW Airport Pullman-Moscow Mesh to safe disk space.
