1 Exercise (Part VIII) Notes: The exercise is based on Microsoft Dynamics CRM Online. For all screenshots: Copyright Microsoft Corporation. The sign ## is you personal number to be used in all exercises. All exercises should be done in ascending order because some exercises require previous tasks to be finished. 2 50) Create a business unit with the following data: Name: BU-## Parent Business: kueichstaet Open Settings, select Administration, then Business Units and click New: Enter the given data and save it: 51) Assign user USER-## to business unit BU-## created in ex.50. 3 Click Change Business Unit in the Ribbon: Use Lookup to select the business unit: 52) Create a security roles based on Salesperson security role with the following difference: Role Name: Salesperson-## Marketing: Marketing List Write Organisation Marketing: Campaign Write Parent: Child Business Units Kath. 4 Sales: Invoice, Order, Quote Create Business Unit Core Records: Data Import all actions None selected Open Settings, select Administration, then Security Roles, select role by ticking it and click More Options -> Copy Role: Enter the name of the role: Enter necessary modifications by clicking on signs: Kath. 5 Save the role. 53) Create a team with the following data: Team Name: Business-## Administrator: CRM-## Business Unit: BU-## Open Settings, select Administration, then Teams and click New in the Ribbon: Enter given data and click Save or Save&Close in the Ribbon: Kath. 6 54) Add user USER-## to team Business-## created in ex.53 and assign both the user and the team security role Salesperson-## created in ex.52. Open Settings, select Administration, then Teams and select the team by clicking on its name (you might need to select view All Teams): Open Members and click Add Members in the Ribbon: Kath. 8 Open Security Roles and click Manage Roles: Select the role from the list and click OK: Open Settings, select Administration, then Users and select user by clicking on the full name: Kath. Universität Eichstätt-Ingolstadt 8

10 55) Create a sales territory with the following data: Territory Name: Ingolstadt-850## Manager: CRM-## Open Settings, select Business Management, then Sales Territories and click New in the Ribbon: Kath. Universität Eichstätt-Ingolstadt 10

11 Enter the data and click Save or Save&Close in the Ribbon: 56) Create an on-demand workflow Territory-Ingolstadt-850## that will assign Territory Ingolstadt-850## created in ex.56 to accounts that have ZIP-code - 850##, Country Germany, City Ingolstadt.
