3 1 English At first you have to configure the app. Therefore navigate to the settings and choose Ag- ile Scorecard. The following information is required: URL of the host (with port number) User Name Password Optionally, the user can enter the name of the scorecard, which shall be displayed at first, if it exists, when launching the app. Configuration of the App Agile Scorecard After starting the app, it tries to connect to the backend REST- Service with the connec- tion information taken from the settings. 3

4 When the connection is created successfully, it will be tested with the help of a check- sum, whether there are changes on the metadata of the scorecards, which are relevant fort he given user. If this is the case, then actual metadata will be sent from the REST Service. Then the data oft he actual scorecard will be read from the data sources and transmitted to the app. But these steps are transparent to the user. He just sees a scorecard with actual data. Scorecard Presentation If a connection could not be created successfully, then old data of a previous session (as long as it exists) will be presented. The user gets a hint, that the presented data is not up to date. 4

5 With the help of a swipe gesture one can switch between different scorecards. The same action can be initiated with the help of a menu, which appears when tapping on the but- ton Scorecards. During every such switch, the app requests actual data for the scorecard from the backend. Furthermore, by rotation he can switch between landscape and portrait modus. Depending on the design of the scorecard, the user will see the same charts in another format or he will see another collection of business charts. Diagrams with areas like column-, bar or pie diagrams but also text blocks can be the starting point of a drill down action. This is the case when at design time a drill hierarchy was added to the particular block. Then a double tap initiates the display of a new block. This new block might present data, which is filtered by the selected value. It also contains a small icon in the top right corner. Tapping on this icon initiates a drill up and the original block will be dis- played again. The menu bar (only in portrait modus) contains two buttons for printing or sending a mail. In both cases a PDF version of the displayed scorecard will be generated in the background. This PDF then can be printed or it will be attached to a new mail. 5

6 2 Deutsch Die ipad- App muss zunächst konfiguriert werden. Dazu navigiert der Anwender in den Ein- stellungen in die entsprechende Rubrik für Agile Scorecard. Hier kann dann die URL des zu verwendenden Host (mit Portnummer), der Benutzername und das Passwort hinterlegt werden. Außerdem kann der Name einer Scorecard angegeben werden, die falls vorhan- den beim Öffnen der Anwendung angezeigt wird. Konfiguration der App Agile Scorecard Nach dem Öffnen der App versucht diese, sich mit den in der Konfiguration hinterlegten Anmeldedaten mit dem REST- Service zu verbinden. Wenn eine Verbindung erfolgreich zu- stande gekommen ist, wird mit Hilfe einer Prüfsumme geprüft, ob es an den für den Anwen- der relevanten Scorecards Änderungen gab. Falls dies der Fall ist, werden aktuelle Metada- ten übertragen. Danach werden die für die Scorecard benötigten Daten ermittelt und an die App übertragen. Für den Anwender ist dieses Vorgehen transparent. Ihm wird einfach eine Scorecard mit aktuellen Daten angezeigt. 6

7 Scorecarddarstellung Falls eine Verbindung nicht zustande kommt, werden, falls vorhanden, die Daten der letzten Session angezeigt. Der Anwender wird darauf hingewiesen, dass es sich um nicht aktuelle Daten handelt. Der Anwender kann durch eine Wischbewegung zwischen den verschiedenen zur Verfügung stehenden Scorecards wechseln. Dasselbe kann mit Hilfe des Menüs, das über den Button Scorecards erreicht werden kann, durchgeführt werden. Bei jedem Wechsel werden die Da- ten der Scorecard, in die gewechselt wird, aktuell abgerufen. Außerdem kann er durch Dre- hen von dem Portrait- in den Landschaftsmodus wechseln und umgekehrt. 7

8 Diagramme mit Flächen, wie zum Beispiel Säulen-, Spalten- oder Tortendiagramme aber auch Textfelder können Startpunkt eines Drill Down sein. Voraussetzung ist, dass beim De- sign der Scorecard für den entsprechenden Block eine Drill- Hierarchie hinterlegt wurde. Durch Doppeltipp auf ein Feld wird für diesen Block ein neues Diagramm angezeigt, das De- tailinformationen zu dem ausgewählten Wert anzeigen kann. In dem Block wird auch eine kleine Lupe angezeigt. Durch Berühren dieser Lupe wird ein Drill Up ausgelöst und das vor- herige Diagramm wird wieder angezeigt. In der Menüleiste sind zwei Buttons zum Drucken bzw. zum Versenden einer Mail zu finden. In beiden Fällen wird eine PDF- Variante der aktuellen Scorecard im Hintergrund erstellt. Die- ses PDF- Dokument kann dann ausgedruckt werden bzw. als Anhang an die Mail angehängt werden. 8
