1 Quick manual: iphone_vpn Rechenzentrum Garching der Max-Planck-Gesellschaft Klicken Sie auf den runden Knopf und wählen Sie anschließend im Menü Einstellungen aus. Click onto the round button and then choose Settings from the menu screen. Wählen Sie den Eintrag Wi-Fi aus. Choose the menu entry Wi-Fi. Wenn das WLAN noch nicht aktiviert ist, drücken Sie auf den virtuellen Schalter um das WLAN zu aktivieren. If your WLAN is not already enabled please click on the virtual switch to enable the WLAN now.

2 Wenn Sie sich im Gebäude D2 befinden, wählen Sie bitte das WLAN D2 Gast aus. If you are inside the building D2 please choose the WLAN D2 Gast. Wenn ein Haken neben dem Eintrag erscheint haben Sie sich erfolgreich mit dem WLAN verbunden. If you see a check next to the entry you have been successfully connected with the WLAN. Drücken Sie nun den runden Knopf und wählen Sie im Menü Safari aus. Now please press the round button and choose Safari from the menu screen. Öffnen Sie nun die Adresse und wählen Sie auf der linken Seite Network Services aus. Please open the address and choose Network Services on the left navigation menu.

3 Wählen Sie nun den Eintrag VPN aus. Please choose the menu entry VPN here. Sie werden nun nach Ihrem AFS Benutzernamen und Passwort gefragt. Bitte achten Sie darauf, dass niemand die Eingabe Ihres Passworts mitlesen kann! You will be prompted for your AFS username and password. Please make sure nobody has a look at you while typing in your password! Es erscheint eine Tabelle mit VPN Clients am Ende der Tabelle finden Sie den Eintrag iphone. Bitte klicken Sie hier auf RZ_Garching_VPN_Access.mobileconfig. You will see a table with VPN clients at the end of this table you will find an entry iphone. Please click on the RZ_Garching_VPN_Access.mobileconfig there.

4 Das Profil wird nun heruntergeladen anschließend werden Sie gefragt, ob Sie das Profil installieren wollen. Klicken Sie nun auf den Button Installieren um fortzufahren... Es erscheint eine Warnung, dass die Authentizität von RZ Garching nicht überprüft werden kann. Klicken Sie hier auf Installieren um fortzufahren... A warning will be displayed that the signature of RZ Garching could not be validated. Please click on the button Install to continue... Bitte geben Sie nun Ihren AFS Benutzernamen ein und klicken Sie anschließend auf Weiter (oberer Bereich). Please enter your AFS username here and click on the Next button on the top afterwards.

5 Bitte geben Sie nun Ihr AFS Kennwort ein und klicken Sie anschließend auf Weiter (oberer Bereich). Please enter your AFS password here and click on the Next button on the top afterwards. Sie haben das Profil erfolgreich installiert. You have successfully installed the profile. Klicken Sie auf den runden Knopf und wählen Sie anschließend im Menü Einstellungen aus. Click onto the round button and then choose Settings from the menu screen.

6 Sie sehen nun einen Eintrag VPN. Klicken Sie auf den virtuellen Schalter um die VPN Verbindung aufzubauen. You will see an entry VPN. Please click on the virtual switch to enable the VPN connection now. Sie werden nun nach Ihrem AFS Benutzernamen und Passwort gefragt. Bitte achten Sie darauf, dass niemand die Eingabe Ihres Passworts mitlesen kann! You will be prompted for your AFS username and password. Please make sure nobody has a look at you while typing in your password! Es erscheint nun in der obersten Leiste ein VPN Logo daran können Sie erkennen, dass der VPN Tunnel aktiv ist. You will recognize a VPN logo on the top bar which tells you that the VPN tunnel is currently active.
