7UDQVNULSW 1. One thing I ve noticed about Berlin is that Berliners really like their dogs. They have lots of dogs, and in fact, there s lots of dog shit on the road. í Don t say dog shit, you should say pooh. Okay, well, I ll say dog pooh. Anyway, they take their dogs everywhere. They take them to the supermarkets and they take them into restaurants, which is really different from Great Britain. And also, the dog pooh, I guess I should say, is everywhere, which isn t very nice. And they don t have the same system as we have in Great Britain, where you have to clean up your own dog pooh, or otherwise you get into a lot of trouble. 2. After I moved out of Charlottenburg, I moved to Kreuzberg, and I really love it there, because there are loads of doner kebab shops, and you can always get a lovely kebab, and I got a bit addicted to them and I started having kebab for lunch, kebab for dinner and a kebab as a snack before bed. And I ended up getting really, really, really fat, so now I ve had to give them up until I m thin again. 3. When I first came to Berlin, I was really surprised by the number of people who ride bikes. They're everywhere. One day, I was walking along the pavement, and I heard this noise from behind go: Ring, ring! And then an old woman on a bike came up from behind, and she pushed me out of the way and she said: Get off the path! in German, of course. 4. When I first came to Berlin, I was really surprised at having to start school so early in the morning, because at home we start school at nine o clock, not eight o clock, and we don t finish until half-past three in the afternoon.
