Januar 2009, Berlin Alumni Network Conference Bonds_of_Trust_2009.de Germany Alumni in Tomorrow s World January 21 22, 2009, Berlin Ziel der Tagung ist es, die Rolle der Deutschland-Alumni als Vertrauenspersonen, Multiplikatoren und engagierte Netzwerker für den Wissenschafts-, Forschungs- und Kulturstandort Deutschland zu stärken. Die Tagung soll die internationale und interdisziplinäre Vernetzung der Deutschland-Alumni weltweit fördern. In Arbeitsgruppen werden regionale Herausforderungen für das Forschungsmarketing Deutschland sowie Perspektiven und Strategien für nachhaltige Wissenschaftskooperationen durch fachliche Netzwerke diskutiert. Die Tagung wird auch dazu beitragen, den Dialog und die Zusammenarbeit des weltweiten Humboldt-Netzwerkes mit den deutschen Partnerorganisationen der Humboldt-Stiftung in der internationalen Forschungsförderung zu intensivieren. The aim of the Conference is to strengthen the role of the Germany Alumni as persons in a position of trust, multipliers and dedicated networkers for the science, research and cultural location of Germany. The Conference is aimed at promoting international and interdisciplinary networking of Germany Alumni world-wide. Regional challenges for research marketing Germany as well as prospects and strategies for sustainable academic co-operation via specialist networks are to be discussed in working groups. The Conference is also going to contri bute to intensifying dialogue and co-operation between the world-wide Humboldt Network and the Humboldt Foundation s German partner organisations in international research funding.
