In fact, the use of such inserts in a safety shoe could mean as a consequence that the same shoe might not pass the safety technical requirements: in other words, a worker needing an orthopaedic insert could wear a non-certified shoe without knowing! To satisfy such users, Panther has asked Co. Matthias Hartmann GmbH in Hirzenhein (Germany), supported by TÜV, to test some of the most popular models and certify that the use of a wide range of inserts does not affect their Safety Certification, according to EN ISO 20345 and to the German Regulation BGR191.
