Zinsänderungsrisiko Ein signifikanter Anteil der Zinskosten kann bereits Monate oder Jahre vor dem effektiven Finanzierungsbedarf einfach abgesichert werden Finanzierungskosten Die Komponenten der Zinskosten setzen sich aus 1 dem Basiszins (je nach Finanzierungsart ist dies entweder der Libor- resp. der Swapsatz für die entsprechende Laufzeit); und 2 der Kreditmarge ("Credit Spread") zusammen Unabhängig von der geplanten Ausgestaltung oder Quelle der Finanzierungsbestandteile, unterliegt der Kunde bereits heute einem Zinsänderungsrisiko: die Konditionen für eine künftige Festzinsfinanzierung werden sich am entsprechenden Swapsatz zum Zeitpunkt der Aufnahme orientieren; im Fall einer variablen Finanzierung (Libor plus Kreditmarge) besteht das Zinsänderungsrisiko über die gesamte Finanzierungslaufzeit Im aktuellen Zinsumfeld ist es attraktiv, einen Teil des Zinsrisikos bereits heute abzusichern, um Zusatzkosten zu limitieren bzw. zu vermeiden
Zinsabsicherungskonzept für Infrastruktur-Projekte Für Infrastruktur-Projekte wird jeweils zuerst die Finanzierungsstrategie entwickelt und basierend darauf dann das Zinsabsicherungskonzept erarbeitet Zinsänderungsrisiko für ein Infrastruktur-Projekt 3. Risiko über Gesamtlaufzeit 1. Risiko über Gesamtlaufzeit 1 Darlehen / Privatplatzierung: Falls das Darlehen einen LIBOR basierten Zinssatz hat, besteht ein Zinsänderungsrisiko über die gesamte Finanzierungsdauer. 2 Öffentliche Anleihe: Schweizerfranken Anleihen haben in der Regel einen fixen Coupon, jedoch wird dieser erst kurz vor dem Emissionszeitpunkt fixiert. Es besteht ein Zinsänderungsrisiko bis zum Pricing der Anleihe. 3 Bankkredit: Syndizierte Kredite werden in der Regel einen LIBOR basierten Zinssatz besitzen. Es besteht ein Zinsänderungsrisiko über die gesamte Finanzierungsdauer.

CHF 3 Monats LIBOR Zinsabsicherungsalternativen Kunden können ihr Zinsänderungsrisiko mit unterschiedlichen Instrumenten aktiv bewirtschaften Swaps Swaptions Caps, Floors und Collars Kunde sichert den Swapsatz mittels einem in der Zukunft startenden Zinsaustauschgeschäft ( Swap ) ab Kunde verpflichtet sich, in der Zukunft den konstanten fixen Swapsatz zu bezahlen und dafür jeweils den aktuellen LIBOR für die entsprechende Periode zu erhalten Für den Abschluss eines Swaps muss der Kunde keine Prämie bezahlen Kunde erwirbt das Recht ( Payer Swaption ), zu einem vordefinierten fixen Satz (Strike) in einen in der Zukunft startenden Swap einzutreten Sollte der aktuelle Swapsatz am Verfalldatum der Swaption höher als der Strike sein, wird der Kunde die Option ausüben Für diese Absicherung bezahlt der Kunde eine Prämie, welche von verschiedenen Parametern abhängig ist Kunde kauft einen Cap, um eine LIBOR basierte Finanzierung gegen einen unerwarteten Zinsanstieg abzusichern Falls der aktuelle LIBOR-Satz über den vordefinierten Cap Strike steigt, erhält der Kunde die Differenz zwischen LIBOR und Cap Strike ausbezahlt Die Kosten für den Cap können mittels verschiedenen Strukturen (Collar, etc.) verringert werden 3.50% 3.00% CHF 3m LIBOR Cap Strike 0.75% 2.00% 1.50% 1.00% Laufzeit Apr-18
Zinsabsicherung einer Libor basierten Finanzierung mit einem in der Zukunft startenden Swap Teil-Absicherung der Libor basierten Kredite mittels Swap Struktur einer Absicherung mittels Swap Der Kunde nimmt zum Finanzierungszeitpunkt eine Libor basierte Finanzierung auf.
