Press Kit 2016 Shaping the World of Tomorrow CUBE is a global innovation ecosystem that aims to connect startups and industry players through partnerships. CUBE was initiated in 2015 by key industry players and Messe Berlin. The official launch will take place at the Berlin Web Week (07th-17th June 2016). By building successful partnerships, we accelerate the Industrial Revolution 4.0. CUBE versteht sich als globales Ökosystem, das Startups und Großunternehmen vernetzt. CUBE wurde im Jahr 2015 von Entscheidungsträgern der Wirtschaft und der Messe Berlin initiert. Der offizielle Launch der Plattform wird auf der Berlin Web Week (7. 17. Juni 2016) stattfinden. CUBE fördert internationale Partnerschaften zwischen Startups und Industrie und macht damit die industrielle Revolution 4.0 sichtbar. 4

Im Rahmen von CUBE werden Touchpoint Events in ausgesuchten Städten weltweit organisiert, um Start-ups und Großunternehmen zusammenzubringen das erste Event findet in Tel Aviv statt. 10

Press Kit 2016 Dr. Torsten Oelke Executive Chairman CUBE For the past 15 years Dr. Torsten Oelke has been a active player in the German digital economy. As a businessman, he has successfully built up and sold companies and incubators. As executive chairman of CUBE he is responsible for the overall content, strategic direction and community. Torsten currently serves as advisor to the German Minister of Economic Affairs. He has assembled a core team of international experts with extensive experiencewithindustry and startups. Dr. Torsten Oelke ist seit über 15 Jahren in der digitalen Wirtschaft aktiv. Er hat als Unternehmer zahlreiche Unternehmen und Inkubatoren erfolgreich aufgebaut und teils veräußert. Als Executive Chairman von CUBE ist er für die inhaltliche Ausgestaltung, die strategische Ausrichtung und die exklusive Community von Start-ups und Großunternehmen des gesamten CUBE-Netzwerkes verantwortlich. Torsten ist derzeit als Berater für den Bundesminister für Wirtschaft und Energie tätig und versammelt um sich ein internationales Expertennetzwerk aus der Industrie und Startup-Branche. 15
